"Surgery went extremely well. Was home a day after. No complications. Walked without cane after 3 weeks. Needed only 4 weeks of PT. life without pain is fantastic.

-Jakob F.

"The orthopedic is Dr.
. He is at the Family Medical walk in clinic. April is when I first consulted him. Initially he has impressed me very," very good. He spends lots of time with you. In fact, usually if you are not the first appointment of the day then you have got to wait because he takes a lot of time with each patient. For anything bone related, he is a specialist in that. I would definitely grade him all 'A's. He is really good at knowing medications and how they affect you. He got me to get off of certain medicines that were given to me for my leg and so I quit it. It came to a point where I was almost feeling debilitated and his suggestion was to stop taking an anti cholesterol and that worked. My cardiologist agreed that it was safe to do so and that is really good. The only thing that would be a 'B' is the promptness because if you are not his first appointment then you are going to get into the room late because he spends so much time with the patients ahead of you. My wife uses him also.

Sounds like you should be pursuing a disability claim.  Also, you could speak to your previous doctor frankly about your concerns.
Have they made orthotics for your shoes that distribute your weight better?

Whoops - I just realized that you may have been looking for Angie's List information on providers outside your home market. To see information on providers that aren't in your home Angie's List chapter, you can elect to pay a small addditional fee (generally about $15 to $20) to add another city's Angie's List to your existing memember.

This is James W. with Member Care. Thanks for posting your question.

It looks like when you signed up online on 8/5/2014, that you accidentally joined our greater Portland chapter instead of our Salem/Corvallis chapter that your zip code falls under. I have transferred your subscription to that chapter, so you will now have access to the correct area.

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at 1-866-783-2980. We're open weekdays from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET.

Hip Replacement reviews in Boise

Dr. G and his staff are very professional and understand the urgency of a joint replacement. He was recommended by a neighbor who had a hip replacement. He is by far the very best at what he does. The surgery was a breeze, no pain in the hospital or at home during post surgical care. He got me in right away knowing how much pain I was in with the bad knee. His rates are very fair and he's an all-around nice guy.

He’s incredible. Very attentive and does interior hip replacements and is an expert in that field. He is very knowledgeable and informative and has excellent bedside manners. He also provided me with a notebook advising what to expect both pre and post surgery, which is very important.

He is probably the best Doctor that I know. He is like the third orthopaedic surgeon I had met for the pain I was having and he was very impressive. I had pain in the knees and not the hips but he was able to make a very good diagnosis. He is very good with the residents and they all think he is fantastic. When he is finished with his surgery, he thanks everybody that helped. He is a very fine man. He explains things very well. When they did anesthesia, he ensured I did not have pain after the surgery. Overall he is excellent. I would use him again in the future.
- Louis G.

He has been awesome! He is courteous and professional. He gave me options and explained everything very thoroughly. I have been very pleased with everything and have recovered very quickly. His support staff is wonderful and helpful. Everyone was very kind and I would recommend them to anyone.

There was very little pain and the job was fantastic. His staff is friendly and understanding to ones needs. He is knowledgeable. I have never waited more than 15 minutes. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was great. Whenever he did a different kind of a surgery or a little different procedure, it worked out really well. He’s one of the few people in the state who does that. I’ve had no complications and no problems with it. I was back to work in about 6 weeks.
- J Paul H.

She’s better, and out and about now. He did a good job and we didn’t have to pay for Medicare. He’s very professional and he seems to be the best at his craft. His staff is very professional and they’re good people. We would probably use him again in the future but we hope not.
