"We continue to be very happy with this firm. After they did such a great job on our master bath remodel earlier this year, we hired them to tear out and replace" an old laminate countertop in our upstairs living room/office. The countertop is long -- about 15 feet -- and also included an island that required reinforcement to properly secure and hold the heavier quartz counter top.
, the owner, did a great job of measuring and ensuring the proper supports were built. He also is very professional and communicates well/timely.
, the carpenter, was very thorough in tearing out the old top, ensuring the cabinets were perfectly level for the new top, and building the extra support braces. He also returned after the counter top was installed to caulk all the way around it and prepare the wall behind the top for painting (the new top was thinner than the old top). Overall, we are extremely pleased with this firm and would highly recommend them.

"Three appointments, he was 15-20 minutes late every appointment. He was on time for the Installation. He used white caulking for the seam between the wall and granite" in the dining room, very unprofessional. I am not an expert but, in the past I have seen grout in the seam. There was a 1/4"-1/2" jagged granite cut. He explained this to be usual and customary for a cut between wall and granite. I had to select a back splash tile much thicker than what I wanted to cover the wide space. The patio where the granite cuts were made was left a big mess. I have used Angie's list a few times in the past and was satisfied with the professionals I selected.
came with 5+ "A" reviews. I am not sure I can trust Angie's List in the future.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

?

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

I-4 was referred to us by a neighbor that also had the company install a kitchen. We had several estimates, and I-4 was within our budget and provided high quality cabinetry and finishes. The task of remodeling our kitchen grew from replacing the cabinets and counter tops with our original floor plan to replacing all floors throughout the house and adding custom lighting. This additional work altered the timeline of installing the cabinets. I-4 worked with us holding the cabinets in storage until all additional work was completed. The installers were professional and courteous.

with I-4, made walk-through visits throughout the installation. In the final stages of the installation, we had a design change with the granite.
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
assisted us with making our suggestions a reality. We love our new kitchen. The cabinets are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. I-4, especially

Simply great and painless.
For this project, I worked with Cemil from beginning to end (in-home estimate and design through implementation) via email, phone, txt, and in person. Very happy with the whole process and would love to work with Cemil again. As I wasn't home during the day most of the time, I only met
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
a couple of times at the beginning (the on-site manager who supposedly would stop by from time to time?).
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was nice and offered some good unsolicited advice about remodeling.
Pros: Kitchen turned out great and exactly on-time! Estimate easy to follow. Good customer service, quick response. Excellent workmanship overall including the tile person (he was so good). Extra: they helped with hauling away my old basketball stand.
Improvements: Although the crew was technically capable (workmanship); I was hoping they would take better care of my property during the process and would communicate more with their PM. Even minor items that could be easily taken care of during the main project (and already agreed to) must be coordinated by me multiple times instead of them checking directly and internally with their PM for confirmation (for example, installing of a transition piece between the tile and the hardwood floor).
Overall: still an A+ and I am really glad I chose to go with
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
(Cemil offered some good design options that fit my spec/budget).

To say the least: EXCELLENT! After discovering that there were no colors that interested us for man-made counter-top material, stopped by
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for their assistance. From the onset, we were treated very well. Our counter-top needs were addressed and satisfactory price agreed upon. Best of all, the color and quality of the granite counter-top was what we were looking for. Everything about the job exceeded our expectations from the measurement process, to the installation, and above all, the final satisfaction that one gets when the quality of the granite, the color and the installation exceeded our expectations. Note that the price was within pennies of man-made granite material. All through the process,

employees were professional and courteous.
And yes, when the need for counter-tops is warranted for our house, we would definitely use

again.

Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. When he saw our old bathrooms, he immediately knew what needed to be done even before we tried to explain it. He also had some ideas that we did not even think of, such as raising the ceiling in one bathroom and expanding the shower area in the other. He also was very honest and did not try to upsell anything else. He even told me that some of the things I had in mind were probably not worth it and saved us some money.
Our guest bathroom was in the worst shape, so we had to completely demolish everything. His crew arrived at our house promptly and completed the tear-down within a day. There was a miscommunication between me and my parents, so we did not have the parts that
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
needed to keep remodeling the bathroom, so that delayed the process. However, I put the blame on me and not them because we were not ready when they came. This also messed up the subcontractor schedules, so make sure you have all the parts they ask for before they come!
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was, however, very patient and clearly explained everything we needed to get, so it worked out in the end.
They were nice enough to put down plastic sheeting on the ground to keep the carpet from getting dirty while they were working. All the subcontractors were very skilled, professional, and pleasant.
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was very accommodating, and he was generally available if I needed to get in touch with about something or had a question. He was very receptive to my parents' and my calls, and he always got back to me, even if it was almost 11pm!
The quality of the tile and the workmanship was excellent. They also know their tile, so if you are looking for a professional installation and consult, these are the guys to ask over the retail home improvement outlets.
After the first bathroom neared completion, they started work on the master bedroom. They installed these beautiful shampoo boxes into the wall in the shower area, which we really like. They also were kind enough to do extra work such as the plumbing and replacing the doors, etc. for a rate that was cheaper than if I hired other contractors to do it.
They also did a good job of cleanup after they were done, and also asked us to take a few days to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction or if anything else needed tweaking or fixing. I really appreciated that.
Overall, they are very reasonable priced for the quality work they do. Actually they were the 2nd least expensive bid we had, but their reputation was important to us, so we went with them. It was definitely worth it. Our bathrooms are gorgeous and are now updated from the 1970s to a more sleek modern look.
The entire process from the first day or construction to finishing took 2 months for 3 bathrooms, which is actually a lot faster than I expected for full tear-
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and renovations. So they are timely.
During the process, I recommend that you keep a line open to
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
or whoever is in charge to keep abreast of the schedule and who and what is going to happen. There were a lot of moving parts to the renovation, but
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was able to keep us up-to-date on what is going on whenever we asked.
All in all, we are very pleased with
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
& Granite and would definitely use them again if we need additional kitchen or bathroom renovations.

the staff at
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
were wonderful throughout the planning stage. lots of help and support. we've lived in our home 28years. when the initial consultation was done he remarked that we have a lot of distance on top of the cabinets up to the tile surface.
when the templates were being prepared in our home again it was noted we have a lot of material to be removed from the top of our cabinets. At that point we asked about protection for our cabinets and family room. they even took pictures of the space needed to be protected. Then demo day came and one man arrived. i thought that odd because with kitchen and bathrooms we had a lot of work to do. I relied on their reputation that they knew what they were doing. i asked the employee that arrived about protection for the areas in the kitchen and family room. he said nothing was provided or said to him? this is after 2 people in management noted the amount of demo needed. Well, the damage done to our cabinets was extensive! concrete, tile, wood chips throughout our family room. Next day 2 men showed up and were surprised that the one man didn't get the job done. I again asked about protecting what was left and they too said they were told nothing. there was so much more they had to do they had another man come to help and the owner came and helped as well. day three is here and the work continues. Now the beauty of their workmanship shines. Beautiful granite installed quite nicely.( on top on damaged cabinets). I noted my concerns about the problems with the demo. I was assured all would be taken care of. 10 days later a wood refnisher came to the house to review the damage. She wasn't to pleased of what she saw and said she'd contact Crowleys. 2 weeks later we come to the conclusion it be best to rehire the person who I used last to refinish the cabiniets. Well he's pretty busy so we have beautiful counter tops on scarred cabinets. Crowleys issued credits for my hiring someone to refinish our cabinets and to clean the carpet.
To recap, we were very happy until the problem with the demo, then it almost seemed they just couldn't get around to helping us get our kitchen back in shape. the finished slabs are beautiful. Just wish they had comunicated and followed up with the demo staff.

The employees at Wongs were friendly and helpful when I went in to pick out my counter-tops. I took in my measurements and they were able to give me an estimate on the spot. I did some shopping around and just could not beat their value. I scheduled the install. The two man crew showed up on time. They were polite, fast, efficient, and did a beautiful job. I get tons of comments on how great the granite looks. I will definitely use Wongs again.

Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was a pleasure to deal with as were his installers and his counter removal helper. He was very careful to keep my wallpaper intact and suggested having the quartz go up over my old window sill which was a great idea.
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was here for the entire removal and installation making sure that everything was done perfectly. He was professional, punctual, helpful, and left everything clean. As a bonus, he even removed my old vertical blinds from the kitchen window for me.
I have never dealt with someone who cares about his customers and his work as much as
Williamsburg Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
does. I am so very pleased with how everything was done, and I highly recommend him!!!
