Family Doctor reviews in Solon

Seriously, I repeatedly denied having a sore throat and they logged that in the system as my primary complaint. The strep test came back negative and they gave me a penicillin injection anyway. I didn't even want the injection - I thought I could opt for the pills instead, but they didn't really give me an option. They didn't investigate my painful cough at all, nor did he seem interested in my complaint that I frequently have coughs that last for months.

Just like in my first visit, Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
was brilliant and compassionate. He took the time to explain my condition to me, what treatments he wanted us to explore, and what those treatments were designed to do, all in language that was easy to understand. He asked a lot of questions about what my daily experience with this condition is like, which made me feel great because so many doctors in the past have been uninterested in hearing about the human side of illness. I look forward to my next follow-up appointment.

Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
always takes time to hear me and share latest research info. So glad she had her own practice with Dr. Saksena. Both have treated me in the past when they were at another practice. My 2 favorites at that practice!

Appointment for 630 and by 645 I called and asked if he was still.coming. He said he was sorry, but they closed at 6 and he could not get anyone to help him pick up the couches. I said a call would have been nice so that I would not have moved my furniture to give him eoom. I told him I would take my business elsewhere and he did not seemed overly concerned with that. So now I am looking for another shop.

We have been with this clinic for 8 years, and Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
is the least knowledgeable doctor in the practice. We have gotten brushed off for what later turned out to be serious illnesses, resulting in repeated visits (and copays) for the same issue.
One thing to note is that Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
is a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), not a Medical Doctor (MD). In 2014, the average MCAT and GPA for students entering U.S.-based M.D. programs were 31.4 and 3.69, respectively, and 27.21 and 3.53 for D.O. students. In the future, I'll be sticking to MDs.

Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
used to be a great clinic when it was run by Drs. Piepmeyer and
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
. Since they've both retired, it has become a very strange practice. The lobby is empty, yet they treat longtime patients like my family as though we're bothering them. They cant seem to get the insurance billing straight - I had to make 5 trips there to correct the same mistake over and over. And the front desk staff both check people in and answer appointment calls, meaning you may have to wait 10-20 minutes after arriving to check in. Heaven forbid this makes you one minute late for your own appointment - I was refused service after standing in line for 15 minutes because it was then 10 minutes past my appointment time. Left in March after 8 years with this clinic and wont be going back.

The office here (
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
Care PC) is very small, with only three people on staff: the doctor, the nurse, and the office manager. How nice it is to have a doctor who can take his time with each patient and a staff that is not completely overburdened or overwhelmed. I look forward to my future appointments here (it was very easy to schedule - for now) and am confident Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
will take proper care of me. I have gone to other offices where I have seen a different doctor and/or different nurse every time and feel as if I have fallen through the cracks a few times there. I don't see that happening with Dr.

What I love about Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
's office is that they make sure you are seen if you are truly ill and that they take time to talk to you and address any problem you have. Both he and the nurse practitioner are wonderful. I never feel rushed or like I'm just a number. The office has a wide range of hours, and I've even contacted Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
on a weekend once when I was very sick and couldn't wait until Monday. The staff and nurses are very friendly and warm. I feel very fortunate to have Dr.
Solon Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
as my PCP. I wish he had openings for new patients because I'd love to have my husband as his patient as well.
