"Originally we dealt
. As has been reviewed by others that had dealings with him that was a complete disaster. However, even after that" disaster I spoke with
. This is where the review gets it's merit. I explained to him about
and that he came out to my house measured sent me diagrams and an estimate. However I was expecting him to show up one day but he never showed. Upon hearing this
explained to me that
was no longer with the company and that he would personally come to my house if I was still interested in the work with his company. I did give him the
to come back. Well he came as EXPECTED and we discussed the prior problems and he reassured me that if we choose to go with them he will make sure all went smoothly. He came in and gave us some different options we could use. This worked out well because he gave s a design that we would not have have thought of. We agreed on a price, was given a start date. They showed up on time and did the work we wanted. After completion we were ecstatic with the results. All I have to say to the negative reviews of this company if it was because of
(who no longer is affiliated with the company I'm told) then it is an injustice to this company. Personally any negative comments made about Flawless with
involved should be removed. He does not represent the company I dealt with

is terrific. He came out on a Saturday as a favor because we were going out of town for two weeks and I was very concerned about the possibility" of water damage in the basement. The hole was approximately 4 inches x 8 inches. The repair is solid as a rock and we've had no issues with water since. Price was extremely fair and service was prompt and professional. Definitely recommended.

Masonry exteriors

Generally considered the highest quality choice for home exteriors, brick and stone are also almost maintenance free and will last as long as the house, though some repairs may be needed from time to time.

Detergent soaking and low-pressure pressure washing (to avoid etching or swirling the surface) about $0.50-1.00/SF - ditto for the sealing. Minimum charge probably about $150. This is something you can easily do yourself if you are just a bit yard handy - rent a pressure washer (or use this job as excuse to buy one) - 1000-1500 psi one is all you want for this, a gallon of concrete/driveway washing detergent, a large paint brush for the sealer, and as much brick/stone/concrete sealer as you need for your area - could probably do yourself for about $0.50/SF. View a few online videos on how to pressure wash without leaving swirl or etch marks in brick/concrete.

returned my call for service within 2 business days. He made an appointment with me to provide an estimate.
Hiawatha Masons Provider Name Locked
called the night before to confirm the time for the next day. He arrived for the estimate on time, and provided the estimate within a week as promised. His estimate was the lowest of the five or six I collected, and the description of the work he was going to do was exactly what I needed. He understood my needs, and offered suggestions as to how the work could be done. Once we determined what I wanted,
Hiawatha Masons Provider Name Locked
advised me of his approximate schedule, which was a couple of weeks, and called a week in advance to arrange to do the work. I was asked to pay 1/3 of the total for the job up front.

and his helper arrived exactly on time each morning to do the work, and completed the work in the time promised. He made adjustments for changes that occurred while removing the old porch, but did not charge me anything additional for the adjustments.
Hiawatha Masons Provider Name Locked
called me each night to ensure that I was satisfied with the work done that day, and explained in detail everything that was done. I was happy to pay the balance of the job after it was completed. He cleared all of the debris, and left the yard very neat and clean. The work is perfect, and it was completed exactly as I'd asked. I am very happy. Throughout the entire process

remove old blue stone from existing patio. put down concrete base to make water run away from the house. Use best of old blue stone and add new blue stone to patio. created a swale that directed water away from the house. Sand was used around the blue stone to prevent weed growth. Attention was given to waterproofing. Great detail given to aesthetic components of the job. An attractive enclosure was created around the window well and edging put around the shrubbery beds. Members of the crew were very polite and professional. The company owner,

, stopped by every day to inspect progress on the job. His son was the foreman on the job and the crew worked for him for years. I would highly recommend this company. I find it exceptional today to have so much attention given to the quality of the job and owner satisfaction.

At the completion of the job everything looked good. Within a year or so I noticed the bricks around the stoop began to sag and a gap had developed between the brick overhanging he stoop and the bricks to the side of the stoop. I contacted MS and let them know there was an issue. They sent someone to "repair" the gap (filled the gap with more mortar). I have had them back on two other occasions to repair the gap as it has grown over the years. (10 years to be exact). I called again last week and asked for another quote to "repair" the shoddy work that was done initially at $6000. I was given a quote of $4800 for the repair. Basically the initial work has fallen apart completely. I realize that it has been 10 years but I would think and hope a brick job should not need to be "repaired" 3-4 times in a 10 year timespan. I received the quote and respectfully declined to pay another $4800 for something that was not properly done in the first place by the same company. Bottom line is work looks great initially but falls apart quickly; at least in my case it did.

is a consummate professional. He worked with his two workers. He & his workers came back the second day to see if everything was good & they spread sand on the walkway and patio. They are coming back the third day. I would say the first day was at least 8 hours. The secod day they were here 1& 1/2 hours. The third day 1 & 1/2 hours.

did underestimate the job but he stayed with the quoted pricel The only complaint that I have is he should have someone answering the telephone. He is a little difficult to get ahold of. You have to currently be persistent.
He is the most reasonable quote I received. Quality is in Smithtown and uses outside contractors and they quoted $2750 just for the walkway.

From the planning and weekly meetings with the owner to coordination of work with the office staff and finally the workmanship of the crew, this is a very professional skilled construction operation.
