""Repeated bad service forces me to write this..I have serviced my MDX a couple of times at . The first time," I spent more than a few thousand dollars and they were regular in updating me. But when I got the car back, I still had some issues. The second time, I had specifically requested a loaner car when I was going to drop by car for service which they had agreed to, but when I went there there was none. I was to go to airport to pick someone up (which I had specifically told them earlier) and I was kept waiting. After a while, I could not wait and I left. I came back to give the car for service the next day and got a loaner (they did give a discount due to inconvenience). May be I should have learnt by then, but I did not! I had scheduled for another service a few weeks ago and was supposed to get a loaner. I went there, waited... and waited... After 20 minutes or so, no service rep, no loaner and I walked out. I normally don't vent for bad service, since I think may be someone is having a bad day and it is an isolated incident, but a premier car dealer having such poor customer service repeatedly deserves to be pointed out. This has been very frustrating and disappointing.

"I purchased a car off eBay from this company and had it shipped. It was described as having "flawless paint". When I received it, I noticed paint bubbled-up" on the rear quarter panels. I notified the seller who offered to pay for some of the cost to have the rust repaired. They stopped answering emails and phone calls and never sent the money.

Personally, I would never spend the money on a new car, regardless of any incentives offered.  Nor would I ever buy a used car from an individual.  You never know what is under the hood...

I would find a reputable dealership and look for a certified pre-owned vehicle that has a clear carfax report, and a make/model that is highly rated by Consumers Report or another reputable source.  I'm going thru that process right now. I'm taking my time until the right vehicle comes up for sale thru a dealership I trust.

Sounds like your biggest problem will be narrowing your list to a limited number of models, and deciding what brand names you are willing to consider to narrow the field.

You can search for websites blogging complaints for each model you are considering to see how they rate with users, and you can also go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at     www.nhtsa.gov     to see how many recalls there have been on a specific model and year.

Most dealers these days have websites with their listed prices for new and used cars that you can browse to get an idea of available listed prices.

I would also recommend that you check out the used car values (free) for models you might be interested in on    www.edmunds.com    and on Kelley Blue Book  -  www.kbb.com

Those 2 sources will give you a lot of negotiating power, because they list what the dealer pays the manufacturer on new cars, shows what people have been paying for each vehicle model and model year, and shows used valuations also. There are undoubtedly other such sources also - these are just the ones I have used and seem to be the best known.

Right after buying the new car I was driving over railroad tracks and it was very rough. Everyone said it was fine, even the President said it was fine, making me feel crazy. Turns out they didn't deflate some of the air out of the tires. I needed some work done and the two times I took it back I had a horrible service, leaving grease on the seats ...More and the headlights not hooked up. I am very unhappy with their professionalism and service.

It has gone very well. The customer service is very friendly and they have been very punctual. Also, my actual car buying experience went really well and the salesman worked very hard to get me into the right car.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. We assumed that since was owned by the of the city, that they would operate in a manner of integrity. We were wrong. We were in an emergency situation when we went to buy a car, ended up purchasing a vehicle above KKB value with multiple problems. We were told that one ...More of the problems (low tire pressure) would be fixed, but when it turned out to be a nail in a tire (discovered after the sale, despite car going through an inspection before sale), the dealership refused to repair the tire because it wasn't in writing. We inquired about tha battery since it was a hybrid and were assured that it had already been replaced or was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, within days we were seeing issues that turned out to be related to the battery. Now, nine months later, we have to pay around 3k to replace the battery after being discouraged from purchasing an extended warranty and the dealership is absolved of all responsibility despite our certainty that we were knowingly sold a failing car. To make matters worse, we were informed that our battery could have caught fire and endangered ours and our child's lives. After consulting with hybrid experts, we are certain that the dealership knew the battery was failing and chose not to disclose. We will never buy from here again and will discourage all friends and family from ever doing so.

The dealership changed their name In November 2015. When the car was purchased, it came with a lifetime oil change contract. When they changed their name, the cancelled all lifetime oil changes. This is affecting many customers. They are not calling people to advise them of the change. Just come in next time for your oil change and let them say ...More "SURPRISE". This was a major selling factor for many people. Very dishonest company.

They did the inspection on my car and it should've never passed inspection because the brakes and the turn signals do not work. I have print out of who did the inspection and 's employee signed the inspection as a certified inspection expert. I called the number on the internet and it is a fax number. I can't ...More get ahold of them at all.

I knew what type of car I wanted. They found the car and had it shipped in. Everything was what I wanted. There was not a lot of negotiations. The place was very clean and pleasant. I did ask a lot of questions and the sales person did have to look up the answers for me. I have also been there for the service and it did not take long and it was very good.

They are quick, they are efficient, their prices are reasonable. But what I really like is when I asked them to double check some stuff on my car and I have never felt like they are adding or tacking on additional work that needs done. Very honest!
