"The veterinarians and all the staff have always been courteous, professional, and knowledgeable to provide quality health care for all of our pets. When it wast" time to let our beloved dog go, the entire
family was professional, kind and very benevolent. The vet was able to give us confirmation that we had made the right decision. They even sent us a very nice card a few days later. NOTE: I indicated $10.00 under "Approximate cost of service" as it is a required field. I would suggest you contact
directly to ascertain current price scheduling for desired services. We have ALWAYS found them to be quite reasonable.

"My experience has been good. we've been using them since December. I really like the veterinarian. There are several veterinarians in there. I really like Dr.
" . She is always friendly and helpful. She calls me a few days later to ask how my cat was doing. She has been very happy and my pet dog will.

Angie's Answers

?

Hi

The first answer is pretty thorough but I would like to add a few points.

First.. the type of food you are feeding your dog may be the key.  If you are using a food that is grain, rice or corn based in the first three ingredients, please change to a food that is meat or chicken based.  Many dogs are allergic to grain, rice, wheat and corn and these things are used as primary ingredients in many well known, name brand dog foods.  Secondly, all treats that have these ingredients should be cut out.  It takes weeks to months before a food change can show results so you must be patient.  Jumping from one food to another will be counter-productive.

Some dogs are so allergic to flea or other insect bites that one or two bites can cause a severe reaction.  Once the itching/scratching cycle begins, it is hard to stop it.  Benadryl is good but I suggest liquid form.  You can get it inexpensively at one of the dollar stores.  The pills take time to break down in the digestive system so you get better and faster results with the liquid. One tsp= 5cc and most dogs of average size can tolerate that much and more if the dog is a larger breed.

Allergy testing is very expensive and most dogs will test positive to some things.  That does not mean that the itching is coming from those things as many things in the environment can trigger positive test results.  Breaking the cycle of itching is primary and that can be done with prednisone ( short term and last resort after benadryl and bathing), allergy shots( same deal, last resort after easier methods).   This spring and summer have been particularly hard, weather-wise.

Good luck!

After you search for the company, you should get the "no results" page. Scroll down just a little bit, and you'll see a button and a link that say "Add this provider." Click on that to add them to the List! Thanks for the great question.
?
I'm really sorry! It looks like we made some site changes I hadn't noticed before and it made things just a little more confusing (for me, too!). We'll have to look into this to make it easier.
In the meantime, here's what you do:
1) Look for the Submit a Report button. It's yellow and on the right-hand side of the page.
2) Search for the animal cancer care clinic you're looking for. The search box should be inside a yellow bar.
3) You should see a list of potential matches, but on top of those, there should be "add a provider to the List" text in blue, which is where you'll click to get to the add page.

Let me know if you have any trouble. Sorry, again, for this being so confusing.

I switched to them because
Fairfield Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
daughter used them. They are very accommodating if you have to change appointments or re-arrange appointments. I really enjoy the vet. He's very knowledgeable. Then I have another dog last year that got hit by a car and her leg got damaged and he was able to fix her leg. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. Its probably a little lower than a lot of veterinarians. I'm just very pleased with them. I actually rescue dogs so I have about five little rescues. Everybody working there truly loves animals. They truly love what they are doing.

I started taking my animals to Dr.
Fairfield Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
in May of 2014. I found Dr.
Fairfield Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
to be one of those doctors who push the clients to get extra services. She ordered the most expensive pills for my dogs arthritis, without giving me a generic option, or giving me an option to get the pills elsewhere. My dog had a lot of pain, so I paid $150.00 for the pills from her. Upon looking for Rx through the internet, I found the exact pills for a fraction of the price, but she was reluctant to give me a prescription because the pills were for 100mg, instead of the 50mg

for my dog, and she was worried about the dosing if I broke them in half. (It was generic rimadyl).
I returned to her a few times, just for
Fairfield Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
check ups, and blood panels for each of my dogs. Each time she would "recommend" something else they sold. $55.00 for a 20lb bag of dog food, $2.50 per can wet food...., or want to do more blood test, or whatever else she could think of.
The final straw for me was when she "scolded" me for not using the food she wanted me to use, but instead purchased a different high quality food from an organics store.

we've been taking our house pets to Dr.
Fairfield Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for many years. Over time he's cared for 6 dogs and 15 cats (not all at once!!). He and his staff are always friendly, courteous and professional. His "tableside" manner is gentle and kind - the critters always know they're in good hands.
In addition to his great manner with the animals, he's also mastered the art of dealing with the fur-parents. As we've been going to him for just under 20 years, he's guided us through good and bad times. Spaying, neutering, check-ups, dealing with porcupine quills and removing traps from paws (this is rural NY where people trap foxes and

).
When the times came that illness was severe, he's been a rock and a gentle voice of reason. Dr. doesn't believe in treatment to just prolong a life of suffering, so he's been strong when we might not have been able to.
No one could find a better Veterinarian anywhere. Plus his staff are all kind and terrific with the animals (and us humans!)
