"Overall, it was very good. The only issue we had is I had to take the dog back to the vet a few days later for an anal gland expression. Clearly, they did not" perform this task very well, if at all.

"They are around the corner from my house. She has an open area where they play as well as a living room where they can stay and get out of the pens. She is able" to give medication without extra charge. I take my dogs food and toys when I bring her over. The pricing is fair compared some other places that charge for every pill given and other things.

I buy a package of 20 visits. They have an outdoor exercise area and I like that. It is a good yard outside for the dog. They are convenient. It is close enough to my home that I can walk there. They provide boarding, day stuff and grooming. I am perfectly happy. I keep going there and I have no complaints.

When I first started bringing my puppy to
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
in
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
, I thought it was a good experience. My puppy seemed to enjoy time there and the staff gushed over my dog. By the time my puppy was 4 months old, the staff suggested that my dog needed to be put on a pinch collar during daycare time. Since I had never had a dog, I consulted my veterinarian about this because it seemed overly harsh for a young dog. She said under no circumstances should a dog under 8-9 months of age be put on a pinch collar because it could damage nerves and muscles that were still developing. I conveyed this to
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and this is when my experience started to change. I was first told that they were dog experts and that my vet was being overly cautious and that I should listen to them. I've known my vet for almost 10 years and have a lot of trust in my vet. I had known these people for 2 months. I instructed that I didn't want to try to the pinch collar until my pupppy was 8 months old. The next 4 months, I was told almost every day what a bad dog I had. There were exceptions, especially the handler
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
who worked with my puppy and always talked about what great potential my puppy had, but most of the time I got an earful about how bad my puppy was. By "bad" they described pretty normal puppy behavior: rambunctious, mouthing, insecurity, trouble walking on a leash, etc. And by no means will I say that my puppy was
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
at home or be unrealistic about behavior. My puppy's breeds are known for being overly excited and it's been a lot of time and effort to train my puppy. But I was sold a "puppy program" that sounded like these were experts in handling puppies and helping to properly socialize them. What I was sold and what I was getting weren't adding up but it was also my first dog ever and I had some self-doubt about my gut instincts. When my puppy turned 8 months old they started using the pinch collar on my dog. They started to describe what a good dog my puppy was, but when my puppy came home, there was depression, lashing out and fear. I thought it was maybe just an adjustment period. I tried the pinch collar myself on a few walks and it took weeks to redevelop the good relationship I had with my dog before that experience. The puppy program price expired when my puppy turned 9 months old and I was offered a nice discount on adult dog daycare prices. I decided to buy a good amount of days. About 3 weeks later, they extended the puppy program to be until 12 months. I asked if there was some deal we could make since I had just spent over $1,000 on adult dog days but now my dog was considered a puppy again. I was told the manager would call me. The manager never called me about this. When my puppy was 10 months old I attended an event which the owner was in attendance at. She told me how much my dog hated her. All I could think was, "well, what did you do to my dog?" Quickly after that incident, my dog contracted parvovirus. I immediately called
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
to alert them to the condition since my dog had been around other dogs there. I was then informed that they had had several cases of parvovirus, but no owners had been alerted to these conditions. I am positive it was this environment where my puppy contracted the disease. It cost $1,200 to cure my puppy of the virus. Even though I would have spent much more to have my puppy health and happy, I still couldn't believe that
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
didn't shut down to do a thorough cleaning after they knew about the first case of it. I asked about being refunded for my days and was told a manager would call me. The manager never called me about this. I instructed that I no longer wanted my dog on the pinch collar and brought my puppy only once a week, just trying to get my money's worth. Again came the reports about how bad my puppy was. My puppy was also enrolled in obedience school at this time and the trainer's had nothing but positive things to say about my puppy's behavior and that the "bad" traits were completely normal and could be remediated with positive enforcement. The depression and lashing out ceased immediately after the pinch collar was removed. On my puppy's first birthday, I brought dog treats for the dogs and doughnuts for the staff because on a dog's birthday they usually take pictures and post on their Facebook and I thought it was fun. When I picked my dog up, I found out they didn't celebrate my dog's birthday, with no explanation as to why. I thought it was very rude. Around this time, I was told that my dog wasn't welcome at daycare because the staff couldn't control my dog's behavior. I again asked about refund options. I again was told a manager would call me. And again, the manager never called me. I started taking my dog to a new daycare facility that was recommended by my trainer and wow, life turned around. My dog is now utilized as the greeter dog for new puppies and has such a playful happy attitude that it brings tears to my eyes to be around my dog. I recently adopted a 2nd puppy whose demeanor is quite the opposite of my first puppy. I took the new puppy to

thinking that I would just use up the days I bought to not
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
out on so much money before taking the new puppy to the new daycare facility. When I went to pick up the 2nd puppy from the first day at
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
, I was told that I owed money for the day. I explained that I had days left on my account. I was then told that days only apply to certain dogs. This logic blew my mind...had my dog paid for those days? No, I had. Why on earth would be they attributed to the dog? It's entirely possible this was in fine print somewhere, but I believe this should be in big bold letters because it's a policy that makes little to no sense. Again, I was told a manager would get a hold of me. Again, the manager has never called me. I have over $600 worth of days that I can't utilize because my first dog isn't welcome there and they can't be applied to my 2nd dog. I feel like I was scammed out of this money and the lack of response is so unprofessional. I would like to say that

at the front desk and

the handler are shining stars at this place, but overall I had a very poor experience. A few of the women handlers also seem okay, but unfortunately I didn't exchange names with them.

We had an unfortunate leak in our home causing us to move to a hotel. We also had to find a kennel for our dogs and cat. I called and made arrangements with
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
. I explained our situation that insurance was paying and I was unsure of our check out date. Was told that it would be Fine.
About a week later I received a call from the owner who had been out of town. She was unprofessional and well, pissy. She had no idea how long my dogs were there and had no payment. I explained that this was all discussed with the first
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
I spoke with and the owners response was, "She's not the owner. She quoted you wrong. You need to call your insurance and ask for more money." First, as the owner, you should ask the person/employee/family member who was running your business these questions before calling and attacking a customer. Second, if your business quotes and agrees to an amount, you stick to it.
About a week later, another phone call, "You need to come wash your dogs, they stink. You can take them to the groomers down the hill." I explained that were were not in the financial position to take the dogs to the groomers at that time, but I would be willing to come there and wash the dogs. "No. You're not capable of keeping my drains clean of hair." I can bring my husband and I'm sure between the two of us we can manage. "No."
The third week our dogs were there, I receive another phone call, "You need to come get your dogs. I can't handle them."
I called every kennel option within 10 miles of us. No one had space during the Holiday Season. I called the owner of
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and explained that I had called everyone in the area and would continue to

I moved my dogs and cat a few days later to a kennel 22 miles away!! About two weeks later while visiting our pets at the new kennel one over the owners mentioned that our dogs were substantially thin based on their breed. She was feeding them extra (canned food) in order to get them back to proper weight! WHAT!?!?!
I called
Burlington Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
to explain that I was extremely unhappy with how I was treated and now how my pets were poorly treated and possible malnourished! The owner basically said sorry but was not willing to renegotiate on the price!
I do not recommend this kennel. Unprofessional business owner, not customer service oriented, and is unable to care for the animal in her care due to her age.

Their staff is excellent - very friendly and cordial -- which is important to me. I typically wait less than 20 minutes to be seen when I arrive for my vet appointments and not at all for my other appointments.

I have been using this vet for about 5 years. The vet and staff are very professional. My cat really likes going here and you can tell the vet really cares about animals. They have reasonable pricing. I have had no problem at all with scheduling. I can usually get my cat in within a day or two.
