"
did a fabulous job. He was professional, trustworthy, pleasant, responsive, called back promptly, showed up on time and did exactly what" we wanted for the price he bid. Our shower looks so much better than I could have imagined thanks to his skill and suggestions. Will definitely use
again and recommend to friends and neighbors

"My husband found
on Angie's list and contacted them to do a bid for work on our house. We were just finishing a 10 year remodel on" our home, and we had added 3 exterior walls that we needed to be bricked to match the rest of the house.
came out to give us an estimate and told us it would only take them 2 weeks to
the brick work. On the East and West wall of the house, the brick had to match up with the brick on the rest of the house. We knew it was a difficult job, and I was surprised by what I thought was a low bid. The bricks they brought to the house to use were not the same shade as the bricks that were currently on the house. They were just going to add the new bricks into the existing brick work on the East and West wall which would create an obvious line in the wall where the colors changed. We had some loose bricks that matched the ones on the house, so we requested that they use the old bricks to finish the East and West wall so that they would match and then use the new brighter red bricks that they had brought to brick in the South wall, that had no existing brick work on it. This should have been a suggestion by the company to make sure the brick work matched. After 2 weeks, the brick work still wasn't done. There were several days when we came home from work and no work had been done on the house. We asked if they would be able to
a brick porch for the new front door we had installed. We wanted a rounded porch with 3 steps. We should have drawn them a picture of what we wanted, because what we ended up with was a 3 tier cement monstrosity that only had bricks laid flat on the
of the steps. They filled the center with broken bricks and trash and then poured cement on it. They didn't use any forms, so the steps are not uniform, straight, or symmetrical. After completion, I was so disappointed in the workmanship that when I received the bill that was twice the original quote, we refused to pay it. We negotiated the price, but I am still stuck with an ugly cement porch with steps that are too shallow for a normal size foot to fully fit. I will have to hire another company to correct the work done which will cost me more money. The brick work done on the house itself is very good and clean. The only complaint I have is that the bricks on the South side of the house are different than the rest of the house, but I understand that new bricks can't always be matched to old ones, and I thought our solution was a decent one. You can barely tell the difference since they are on different facing walls. My issue with this company is in the fact that the final bill was twice as high as the original estimate and the work took twice as long and the porch I was left with is an embarrassment.

Tile

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

Since this task was not something that they were experts at,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
referred me to an expert. They came out within a few days and resolved my problem completely.
I appreciated the fact that they responded so quickly to me and that they knew of another professional that could complete the task
I would not hesitate to hire them for grout repair in the future.

First, I'm PICKY. I'm ANAL. I CAN be VERY difficult to work with. Let me say that after working with

, Hossein,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and the staff at Countryside Tile, as well as all the great folks at RCarr Plumbing,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked

Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, et
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, I will NEVER use anyone else for a TILE JOB or a SHOWER CONVERSION in this area.
My (almost) 85 year old mother, had reached a point where despite numerous "on the fly" modifications she could no longer get her foot up over the last 5 inches of her tub. EVEN with multiple caregiver's assistance. She DESPERATELY needed a walk in shower. The problem? Mom has MANY medical issues and the bathroom is a very crowded space. (Her entire "condo" (i.e. small villa) is only 600 sq. feet and with only one bathroom getting the tub out FAST while leaving Mom access to the ONLY toilet was key.
Both Mom and I have owned SEVERAL properties and I have gone the "handy man route" over the years. For this job, SPEED, and having it permitted so EVERYthing passed code down the road was a KEY consideration. No. Countryside Tile was NOT the cheapest. (Hence, the "B" for Price on this rating.) But the EASE with which I was ABLE to work with these folks, really gave me the LOWEST total cost.
Mom's constant refrain to me, was "HOW are they going to get that tub out of there without making a BIG MESS and it taking FOREVER?" (We/She/I had done these sorts of things before, "Handy Men", etc.).
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
arrived on a Mon. at 9:10 A.M. and the tub was outside on the back lot and out of a VERY cramped space, WITHOUT removing the toilet ALL in FOUR AND ONE HALF HOURS. (I timed it to the minute.) But the most impressive thing was they DID this withOUT having to "pull the toilet" which MANY concerns including "handy men" WOULD have.
Further,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
promised me she would be using the shower on Friday (depending on inspections). The shower WAS (indeed) BEAUTIFUL and READY to USE on FRIDAY, just as promised!!!
But there is MORE!!! I/we had selected LARGE tile to make the shower, bathroom LOOK MUCH BIGGER. However, I THOUGHT that it should be laid "Horizontal Brick Style" just like the kitchen.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
the technician and installer with NEARLY 30 years in the business "tactfully" (but firmly) suggested NOT doing that, because the odd cut pieces would make the overall design look too "busy". I am SO happy I listened to
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
. He laid everything perfectly symmetrical and the new walk in shower looks FABULOUS!!!
Still MORE. Many of the tile companies I talked to, were "handy man" type concerns, and either couldn't or wouldn't return phone calls. The larger tile companies who DID quote this job ALL refused to tile up to a
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
style shower base I acquired at Lowe's. (For the purpose of RCarr installing). Countryside and RCarr plumbing were the ONLY firms that DIDN'T TRY to UPSELL ME INTO moving the drain to the center AND BUILDING a tile Shower Base. This was a purchase that would have added 1500 to the job and one I (and a builder consultant I used) truly did NOT feel was necessary!
When I showed
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
what "they" were doing, and I tried to get
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
to quote his that way, he tactfully suggested not to go this route, because "they're just trying to upsell you and you don't need it."
Please understand. My mother's place is beautiful. Very beautiful. But I didn't think we needed it either. In short, I'm so glad I listened to
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, and Countryside Tile. Will never work with anyone else.
P.S.: ALOT of little things....too. I specifically asked Countryside who picked up Mom's "
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
" Shower base at Lowe's to be SURE and get me one with METAL Bands. (So I would know the crate had not been tampered with. When I showed up to inspect it at the warehouse before the job, warehouse manager shows me the unit with metal bands (from his smartphone) being loaded on Countryside's truck at Lowe's.)

Guinter and his helper are extremely good at their jobs, super friendly, and do some of the best work I've seen. Their prices are very fair and he is very straight forward with you. I got his reference from my parents, and I have referred him to all my friends that need any tile work. I would 100% go to him with anything that he would be willing to do and thats saying something because I end up doing a lot on my own because its hard to find good, hard working, honest people like him.

They were going to give me a quote for polishing/cleaning tile and grout in the bathroom. I never received the quote or follow up. I could have followed up but did not do so. I guess it is possible that I missed it but i doubt it.

I have had my grout "cleaned" before but the person used a carped cleaning machine and I was not satisfied. I called
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
because of her reputation on Angie's List. She came to the house and gave, what I would consider, a reasonable price.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up right on time. When I contracted for the job, I was told that it would take about four hours. It took exactly four hours. They did an excellent job and the grout looks great. They even did under the
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and refrigerator.

The only complaint I had was that
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
forgot to plug the refrigerator back in. If I hadn't checked, they would have been paying for a freezer full of meat. All in all, they did a very good job.

We were very happy with the complete bathroom remodel that
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
did for us. He took a 1950s-era bathroom that we never used and turned it into my favorite room in the house. He also replaced our kitchen counters and back splash.
Getting bids for remodeling work can be a frustrating process. During the bid process,
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
was personable and professional. His questions to us showed that he understood the scope of the work. His bid was not the lowest bid we received, but the materials and process that he proposed were exactly what I would have used if I had the time/skills to do the work myself. We plan to live in this house for the long-term, so we were willing to pay more to do things right the first time.
The work did go slightly longer than planned, but there were some problems in materials that we purchased (had to wait ~7 days for replacement medicine cabinet). We also slightly expanded the scope of the originally planned work by adding some work in our kitchen to make use of an entire engineered stone slab (used on kitchen counter and bathroom vanity). Those issues were not
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
's fault and he worked with us on each of them.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
worked with us to implement some ideas I had on lighting in the bathroom and everything came out better than we hoped.
During a major remodel, you need to be comfortable with having the workers spend a lot of time in your home.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and his associates were in-and-out a lot, but we were always comfortable sharing our home with them.
The only ding I can give
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
is that I would have liked to have a more formal bid on the kitchen work that we decided to add onto the originally planned bathroom remodel (to make use of a full slab of engineered quartz). We were happy with the work done and the price we paid, but it seemed like the work was starting before I had signed off on the price. Again - everything went fine, but I would have liked to get the price set before the work was started.
I should have written this review earlier, but we have been enjoying our bathroom. There haven't been any issues with
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
's work that we have encountered during the past ~11 months. If you are looking for the cheapest, then
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
might not be the person I recommend. However, if you want someone to do great work then I would certainly recommend
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked

Company came to clean my Travertine floors and decided to grind down the floors to remove topical sealer he had mistakenly put down last year. I expressed my concern for such drastic measures being there wasn't much sealer left and just wanted them cleaned. The owner
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
said he knew what he was doing so I allowed him to proceed. Long story short, my marble floors are unrecognizable. I am left with unrepairable rough floors with huge holes, gouges and basically the floors resemble volcano rock. They are so rough that you can't even walk on them without risk of cutting your feet. I also have a small dog that drags her foot due to nerve damage who is also at risk of getting cut. When I complained to
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
he stated the floors were already damaged prior him cleaning them and he did nothing wrong. No matter what I said he would take no responsibility. He also states I did not have to pay him but I should pay his worker. I said that not only am I not paying but that he needed to fix the floors. He collected his tools and left. Later that evening I received a phone call from him which was of a threatening manner. Saying things like, I had a feeling you were going to rip me off and that I was going to pay for this. Mr.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
not only refused to give me his license info and insurance info, I found out he has NONE! He does not exist anywhere. No real name, no license, no insurance and Angie's List stated they don't have any information either!!!! The authorities have been contacted and they are attempting to find out who this person and company is that was in my home. 10,000.00 dollars in damages and no where to be found. I am sick to my stomach for not checking his name, his license and insurance info first.

Everything went very well other than the usual touch-ups and repairs.
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew are extremely knowledgeable and professional. When I wasn't happy with the alignment of some of the tiles, they redid them. They had to return to remove some grout that was not totally cleaned off of the shower listello and repair some minor grout issues but, other than that, there were no problems. They were very responsive to any concerns I had and seemed to have my satisfaction as their main focus. The laundry caused the main problem because when we replaced the linoleum with tile, the door threshold where the tile met the hardwood floors was uneven. There was a small (about 1/2") step up from the hall to the laundry due to the plywood that had to be installed on the laundry room floor for the tile base. I was very unhappy about that and
Burlington Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
came up with the idea of making a small "ramp" to ease the transition. He did this and covered it with tile and it looks great and was the perfect solution. I am extremely pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend them and would absolutely use them again.
