The other confusing point was they offered me only 1 option for the gate) -the discounted one but (2) options for the surrounding fence. Option 1 was to buy a pre made fence, Option 2 was to have them fabricate the fence( more expensive) - here is the kicker. If I had not been paying attention and selected the discounted gate and the less expensive option 1 fence I would have a gate and a fence that did not match. Why would you even give me 2 options for fence and only 1 option for the gate????
How well the bid process goes is a big factor in my decision to select a company and in this case, it was way to confusing for me to consider them. I'm not sure about the gate pricing since it was discounted but the fence and opener pricing was in line with others offering a very similar product. Identical in the case of the opener.
The pickets and rail sizes were smaller than the competition yet they quoted a higher price.
They are a big shop and worth looking at but beware that you may not get the response you are looking for. I do realize this is the busy time of year so that may be a factor.
Also, if you get a quote, watch that everything you want is included. In my case the quote was missing the key pad and remote pricing. I did ask about that but didn't get a response.
They were my #1 pick until I could not get a response. I put a lot of weight on how well the overall project is going to go by how well the bid process goes. Bad bid process = no business from me.
