Window Replacement Reviews in Woodstock

I contacted
& Siding in regards to replacing my front entrance door. When I called I spoke with a very professional employee,
and she took my information and had
the owner return my call as soon as he got back into the office. We scheduled a time for him to come out and take measurements and show me catalogs of what doors that he had to offer and would suit my needs and requirements. On the day of the appointment,
showed up exactly on time, explained the process from decision through the installation process. l had a few choices based on my needs, after coming to a decision I called Pinnacle and scheduled with
for their Installer to come out and get the exact measurements, door swing and a few other bits of information prior to the order. I then called
to give him the approval to go ahead and place the order. Because there was a two week lead time from the placement of the order till it arrived at Pinnacle door I had time to take care of a couple other items in the home.
When the door came in,
called me to schedule the install. On the morning of the Install,
and his helper arrived on time, had me come out to inspect the door to insure it was the correct door, swing and style. These two men were extremely professional and showed concern for my home, they put down floor protection as to not damage the hardwoods, were extremely careful to remove the casing and brick mold as to not do any damage to the interior or exterior walls. The install went great without and glitches and when they were done, the door was fantastic, the sheetrock on the inside looked perfect, you honestly couldn't tell the moldings had been removed and replace, no painting was required to repair any nicks or splits. The outside was perfect, floors perfect, I honestly don't think I could have had a better experience with another company.
If and when the need arrises for addition work to be done with windows, doors or siding, Pinnacle with the be first company I call and give them a
to do the work.

When he arrived he told me his company doesn't make 8' doors. We talked for some time and he told me if I could find a company that makes that size door, he'd be happy to find someone to install it for me. He was so helpful, courteous, friendly, and professional. He is the kind of person I really like to work with. My only regret is that he couldn't help me.

(WW) started off great. I had used WW previously on a house I owned in VA Beach and was very pleased with the company. After moving to GA, I decided to use WW of Atlanta for replacement windows in a newly purchased home. The salesman promptly came out and measured my windows, providing me with a cost estimate. Once I agreed to the work and signed the contract (via email), an order was placed. It typically takes 6-8 weeks for the windows to arrive once they are ordered. However, WW agreed to rush the job since I wanted the work complete before moving into my house. They were as good as their word and all but two of the windows arrived and were installed in ~5 weeks, which was great. I have no complaints about the initial installation, which occurred over a three day period. However, it has been over 2 months since the initial install and the job is still not complete. It took weeks for WW to receive and install the last two windows. When the installation team finally arrived, the lead installer said that he was not told that the windows needed to be wrapped (the two new windows and one window that was not wrapped during the initial install.) While installing the two new windows, the inside trim was destroyed. The rep didn't have replacement trim and said that he would be back out to replace the trim - all I would have to do was paint it. Ugh, I didn't sign up to paint. After discussing the matter with WW's office rep, I was told that I would not have to paint the replacement trim. The installer was supposed to come back two days later to finish the job, but never showed and no one from the company called me. Later, when I called WW to inform them of the reps failure to show, they said he had a family emergency, so I was willing to cut WW some slack. However, no one called me back to reschedule, so once again, I had to call the WW office. A few weeks later an individual came out and replaced the trim, but did not wrap the three windows. That job is scheduled to happen next week - we'll see. Bottom Line: I like the windows, the initial install went well, but the job completion / follow up has been terrible. I paid a LOT of money for these windows and expected better service.

The salesman came out promptly to sell me the french doors and assured me that they do this type of job all the time. With the exterior of my house being brick, I was very concerned that the way they trimmed out the doors would not look good. I was assured that the door would look like it was an original part of the house except for the new grout may not match perfectly. The only brick to be cut was from the bottom of the window to the ground. The door was supposed to be special ordered to fit the exact dimensions of the current window. It was supposed to fit perfectly into the hole where the window was removed, and the only patchwork would be the bottom few bricks on either side of the door.
The doors were ordered and expected to be delivered in two weeks. Five weeks passed when I found out the doors were in but there was no one to install them. A week later an installer came out with the doors. He cut out the bricks all the way around the window instead of just at the bottom. He installed the doors and was about to leave when I asked about the giant pile of bricks laying in my backyard. He said he was not a mason and was just here to install the door. He was going to leave the job with a 4 inch gap between the brick and the interior walls. All of the insulation was hanging out of the walls and rain was coming. There was also a big gap between the foundation and the dirt so there was nothing to secure the door threshold to on the outside. The door had no way to lock because the pin at the bottom of the stationary door had nothing but a dangling piece of thin wood to sink into.
The door remained unsecure for about a week. Anyone could have easily gotten into the house. There was a lot of finger pointing between all the people involved as to whose fault it was, but not a lot going on to resolve the issue. I finally called the owner to see how we could quickly get my door secure and protect the inside of my house with something more substantial than painters tape. The owner seem genuinely interested in solving my problem, but never followed up with me like he said he would.
The outcome was that they trimmed the door out with PVC trim instead of brick. It looks fine, but was not what I wanted. They offered to replace the trim with brick, but I decided to cut my losses. They obviously were not masons, and I had no confidence that they could make it look original. The

project put my basement renovation behind schedule about 5 weeks. It cost me a lot of money because building material prices went up quite a bit on January 1. I would not use them again in the future.

The installers arrived on time --their work was very neat and fast [a plus in cold weather] and we could not be more pleased. The window really adds to the look of our home.

was very prompt and kept up with when the windows would be delivered by

, the next day he had his window people come and take out all the windows put them in his dumpster, and replace them with the new

windows. They started at 8 a.m. and finished at 7 p.m. with all windows in place and working. They did it window by window so there was never more than one gone allowing our AC not to have to overwork. The price was great, initially I thought I wouldn't be able to have my dream

windows but Rus worked the price so it was workable. We love the windows and are amazed at how quiet the outside world has become. Rus worked with us to put together a special combination for our 8' wide kitchen window which has become the first thing people comment on when they enter our kitchen. Rus is a very willing to do what it takes to make his customers happy, he even painted my porch furniture for nothing to match the trim paint from his siding job. If anything, he calls and checks up to much to make sure his customers are happy with the results they are getting. I'm very proud to recommend him as a contractor.

We originally met w/a representative to view, discuss, and order windows and siding for our home at a total of $39,800. We told the rep that we were members of Angie's List and wanted our discount. We gave them a down payment check. We were told to expect a call from the company, but no one ever called. Another rep came later to measure for the windows. Again we reminded him we wanted our discount from A'sL. The original rep came back several weeks later to tell us our siding color was no longer available and to choose another color. During this time, our chimney was removed, the front decking was removed, and staircases were redesigned and built for easier access. Champion took $500 off the estimate because of needing less siding. Because the remodeling of our home uncovered unexpected damage which had to be repaired, our funds were dwindling. Our son returned home from deployment and was sent eventually to a WBT unit in GA to address SIGNIFICANT PTSD! We traveled to and from MS and then to the WBT to help our son. I explained to the owner our inability to afford siding at this time. He reluctantly allowed the contract change. The window installment was begun 8-9 weeks after the original contract was signed, but there was not allowed enough time to complete the work in one day. Instead of coming back the next day to complete the job, we had to wait until there was time in the company's schedule to complete the work. At completion of the work, we looked the contract over and realized the company had not allowed for our discount through Angie's list. We wrote the final payment less the $1400 discount due us. We wrote a note to the owner with an explanation of the check amount minus the discount. The owner called back stating he had allowed us to forego the siding cost after our son's "SOB STORY" and we had a contract that couldn't be changed even though the discount from Angie's List was not allowed. We were threatened with a law suit and court fees if we did not pay the $1400. We ended up paying the money, but will NEVER work with or recommend this company to anyone! We were denied our Angie's List discount. The windows are beautiful costing almost $1,000 per window (other Champion stores in the Atlanta area charge only $750/window; my husband researched that fact but the owner disputed that). The work was completed over a four day period because of scheduling issues. Calls that we were told to expect we're never made. The original color siding we ordered became unavailable and we were forced to choose something else, and then the owner stated our son's return from Afghanistan with PTSD was a SOB story! NOPE! Won't be recommending this company to anyone!!
