"Overcharged and misdiagnosed twice! - In late 2013 I had a chronic, choking cough. I was referred to ABQ health partners pulmonary clinic. The nurse practitioner" - VAn
- reasked all the questions that I had answered on the questionaire about my condition, gave me a bunch of scripts for allergies and told me to try them all and see if anything worked, had an "educator" teach me how to use an inhaler (I've used inhalers longer than she's been alive). None of this helped. Then I was referred to an ABQ Health part. ENT Doc, he said I was going through "the change" and needed Premarin! Really! After months of doing everything (except premarin) I went to a non-ABQ health partner urgent care, and was diagosed with walking pneumonia and treated successfully with 6 weeks of antibiotics. I spent over $500.00 in medical charges and prescriptions, and more in lost work and time over nearly a year. I will NEVER go back to any branch of this practice and hope you don't either - for the sake of your financial AND physical health

"Very easy appointment. Check in was a breeze. Staff was VERY friendly. Dr.
was exceptionally personable, attentive, and takes your wishes" into account when planning treatment/diagnostics. The entire experience was a breeze and makes going to the doctor a pleasure rather than a chore.

Staff is rude, and if you call and ask questions they hang up on you. They transfer you from one person to the other, and you can never get the answers you need.

We have been waiting over 4 days to get an order straightened out, and it still has yet to happen.

It has just been a very unprofessional and very frustrating experience every time we deal with this clinic.

She is a top quality physician. She is thorough and provides complete service. The office is clean and has very good nursing assistants. They also have the facilities in the office to run most tests and lab work.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 1 year and my husband has been seeing him for about 3 years. He is very knowledgeable and caring. My husband visited for sleep apnea and the doctor has helped significantly with that. The doctor heard something in my husband’s chest and was able to save his life. He is a very well respected doctor in the area and is a superb doctor. I feel very lucky to have him as a doctor. The few nurses I have seen are very nice and scheduling is easy. I do not have to wait long to be seen.

I've been using him for 3 1/2 years. He's talks to you, but is in and out pretty quickly. The office staff is pretty good. When making an appointment, sometimes it can be far off into the future.

Dr.
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
comes off as a very knowledgeable physician. However he was late for three of the four appointments I had scheduled with him. And he was not just late, but embarrassingly late - as in sometimes 45 minutes, late. Additionally, there were two occasions where I called in to his office to get a follow-up from Dr.
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
and received no return call or request to set up an appointment. After calling several times and waiting for a reply, my husband finally called in on my behalf and requested to speak with an office manager. After speaking with her, I finally received a call from Dr.
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
the next day. Rather than apologize, he blamed his office staff for the mistake and told me he didn't know what to make of my case and ordered another test for me in the mean-time.

Dr.
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
referred me for appropriate tests and prescribed appropriate treatments for routing out the cause of my symptoms , however, his treatment of me as a patient left a lot to be desired. He did not listen to my description of concerns and blew off symptoms and frequently treated me in a condescending manner.
In addition, he questioned treatments by different physicians for other medical conditions I have, going as far as to order costly tests to challenge the validity of their diagnoses, unrelated to my
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
related symptoms, and then recommending I discontinue the other medications because he deemed the the diagnoses to be "incorrect", even though they were not part of his scope of professional knowledge as a pulmonologist, and were not part of the
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
condition for which I was referred. He frequently grumbled to me about his fellow physicians and literally growling his frustration with them.
When one of the tests he ordered came back inconclusive, or not providing an answer for my symptoms, he would berate me for his fellow physicians and medical specialists and their ineptitude - speaking as if it was my fault or theirs that he did not have an answer for me. Very unprofessional.
After four appointments with him and still no relief after trying his course of treatment, he expressed exasperation to me, again speaking to me in a condescending manner about my concerns over my symptoms persisting . I was informed that he had "no idea what could be going on and maybe I should see my primary care physician about a referring to an ENT and a speech therapist".
In my personal experience with Dr.
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
, he does have an extensive medical background in tests to order for suspected diagnoses. However, he bedside manner, punctuality, and respect for his
Savannah Pulmonologists Provider Name Locked
is severely lacking. He did not instill confidence in me that he is a competent in his field. I commend his office for remaining civil with him in front of patients because I do not know many people who appreciate being treated in the manner he treats others.
I have since been referred back to a pulmonologist after treatment by an ENT. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to

They did some pulmonary function testing. She prescribed medicine for my asthma. She is a lovey person. She spent over an hour with me going over my history and answering my questions. I gave communication a 'B' because of the robo-calling. I received a robo-call confirming my appointment. I got another robo-call after the appointment thanking me for choosing them which was annoying.

I’ve been using him for 12-13 years. I like that he listens to his patients and recognizes when they understand their condition well. He’s personable and easy to talk to. He’s been very effective in managing my condition. I was a physician’s wife and have used many doctors, and he’s medically very effective and personally easy to deal with and empathetic. They are very responsive and easy to deal with when you call in for prescriptions. Scheduling is also pretty easy.

I have been seeing him for at least 6 years. He is wonderful! He is very caring about his patients. He will go above and beyond for his patients. He returns calls promptly, but sometimes you have to wait for an appointment because he so popular. My parents are elderly and he is very patient with them. He simplifies the language so that they will understand. He is very gentle with my Mother who has Dementia.
