We also employ an experienced cable system installer and A+ certified PC techs. HCV can set you up with a custom wall mounted Home Theater, complete with a discreet surround sound system & media center PC. Our technicians are certified Microsoft Engineers, A+ Computer Repair Technicians, and experienced at configuring cable, phone line-based, and satellite connections for maximum ease-of-use with every combination of products. Looking for a new TV and internet service? Just give us a call before you order your bundle from whichever provider you choose, and we will walk you through the ordering process, and bring you anything the cable company will need. Then, call us back when the installer (who is insured for outlet wiring)arrives and we will hurry to your home or business to perfect the installation and teach you how to use everything! We also connect cameras to existing computers and living room flat screens, to help keep an eye on the carport or child's room. Call us with your existing HDTV model number and have us deliver and install a wall mount with only an hour of down time in most cases, for around 100 dollars. If you're sick of paying over 100 dollars a month for Comcast or AT&T bundles, we can connect you with a fast internet package and sign you up for internet-based phone service and Netflix, giving you access to 20,000 of the best on-demand television programming choices anywhere, with practically free telephone service, all for less than $40 a month! You probably already own the equipment! Many subscribers are paying monthly for or missing out entirely on the benefits of DVR service when all they need is a one-time investment in an external drive! We can connect the right equipment for you in minutes. You can record ~500 hours of HD programming for the price of 6 months' DVR rental. We can also program your Iphone or Android to act as the universal remote for everything in your home. There are programs to control everything from the television to your thermostat. Anything that uses electricity can have an on/off control added. Of course, the more advanced features are prohibitively expensive. Finally, if you are kind of new to these gadgets and you are worried about spending money on technology you won't use, we will spend as much time over email, phone, or in person as it takes for you to get to know your investment. Our company prints free customized, illustrated reference pamphlets for each customer that needs a little help playing a video disc without the loudspeakers, or recording a vinyl LP and naming the songs automatically, then moving the files onto a cell phone to be played at the office. We just take a picture or two of the equipment or software you need help with, and make you a diagram with as much detail as you need! We always work out the pricing ahead of time, so there are no surprises and a clear time frame is agreed upon. We charge by the job, with our labor fee calculated as a percentage of total electronics price on large jobs. For example, A 42" HDTV, wall mount, Blu-ray player, receiver, HDMI and optical cabling, a single remote and discreet shelving, (completely installed and integrated into your home network) would cost approximately $875 (depending on brands, + tax on locally purchased goods). We charge 12% labor on purchases between 500 and 1000 dollars, bringing that subtotal to $980. If you only purchased a wall mount from us, however, the labor percentage is 18% under $100 and 15% from there up to $500. So mounting your existing 40" LCD TV with a sturdy, basic low-profile mount would cost the 75 dollars for the mount, (possibly) 10 dollars for additional anchors and 15.30 for labor, bringing the total cost to just $100.30! Of course, we stand behind the products we install, so we reserve the right to refuse selling you a cheap 80 pound rated mount for a 1200 dollar, 75 pound LED TV. Or refuse to mount it in drywall, with ANY type of anchor. We plan on keeping our customers by finding them values, not by charging them for "value" rated workmanship. And that extends to the products as well as the work. You can tell us what you need and your budget, and we can find you a highly rated set of components that have a history of outlasting their warranty. We scour the internet for suppliers with razor-thin profit margins and extended warranties, buy small parts we've tested direct from Asia in bulk, and write volumes on consumer forums that attract other American service professionals to share their experiences with us. In short: HCV can still find quality materials, even if the brand names seem identical.
