was recommended by our builder who had worked with him on several projects. Our project involved the demolition of a dilapidated house and construction of a new home and barn.

was very helpful in explaining the design process. He is easy to talk to and listens well to his client. He was able to incorporate our wishes, while making valuable recommendations for improvement and overall flow of the structures. He was thoughtful of the aesthetic of the area and willing to incorporate our "eccentricities" (my description, not his). He outlined the costs up front so that we were able to adjust the level of his involvement to our budget ahead of time. He met with us several times and visited the site several times to tweak the design accordingly, per our requests. It was clear that he wanted to be sure we would be completely satisfied and pleased with the outcome of his work. I think the combination of KBA &

From beginning to end, the ideas, the creating, the planning, the execution of the job...the crew....the owner...the way it was all handled, I am just blown away. What a most lovely experience dealing with true professionals who catered to our every new idea as they were working.....flexible, honest....timely....my neighbors rave over our porch still, 3 months after the job has been completed they still stop to admire it all the time! I couldnt be happier so I wanted to share this with Angie's list viewers, this really is a great company and their work (i reviewed all kinds of work they had done first) is simply top notch.

showed up at my house on time and in great spirits. I wanted his expert opinion on some renovations we are going to be doing on a brand new home that is currently under construction. As a new resident of The Woodlands, I was getting some horror stories associated with contractors doing home improvements for residents and finding out it was not up to code and/or short cuts were taken and the final product will not last as long as it should have. I told
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
about the experiences my friends had gone thru and would appreciate his advice seeing that on Angie's list he was given some great reviews. He gave me his background and the history on how things in The Woodlands had started. As he spoke to me about past experiences and work that he has done, one thing ran true through out and that was his integrity and honesty. He provided me very sound advice on how he would go about doing the improvements and also some of the areas I need to watch out for. Really appreciated his time and expert opinion.

of Artois Architects arrived by appointment at my home. They parked where I could not see their car.
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
informed me of their rate for additional services. I showed them my project boards and asked whether they could do a vision sketch. They spent the rest of an hour taking measurements. They asked me some questions I found strange, like whether I locked up and where my dogs sleep. I asked for how much additional time for a sketch. They estimated 4 - 6 additional hours. I agreed to that estimate, though I thought it was high, but they agreed 2.5 hours remained paid for from the initial deal, so I planned on 2 - 4 hours due.
They later delivered by email 3 minor variants of a CAD diagram. I was clear I still wanted a garage. None leave me a garage. All are standard small footprint garage-to-family-room conversions. They do not consider the property's exposure and would leave me with a dark wet area prone to rot.
They then billed me for 9.75 hours, 30% above the top of their estimate. At no time did they contact me to authorize the overage. I advise against using this provider.

is very prompt and responsive. He listens and asked the right questions, learned about our needs and what features we likes about the house, etc. He also followed up with me promptly. The only reason that we didn't choose him this time was the price, which was at least twice as much as some others.

We wanted to have them come do a design consultation for our home. The consultation was scheduled and after waiting the day of 15minutes past the time it was supposed to begin called to find out why the designer had not shown up yet. Was told that she had an emergency and someone called in the morning to try and cancel. No one had called, emailed, or left a message which I informed the receptionist of. I gave them my phone number and email again and they said someone would call back to reschedule. Several days passed and no return call. At this point I called yet again to say no one followed up to reschedule. They apologized and took my name and number for a third time and told me someone would call me back that afternoon to schedule a new design consultation. For a third time no one ever bothered to call. At this point since they do not value my business we went with a different interior design company for our needs.

was very helpful in putting together plans for a basement remodel I'm doing. He paid an onsite visit, took measurements of the area I'm remodeling, gave great advice on several aspects I hadn't yet thought of. About a week after his visit,
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
sent me the drawings he put together as promised. Very detailed. He also helped me do some homework on the permitting process for my project - a process I was very unfamiliar with, but wanted to do it right.
I highly recommend
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
for any project and would use him again.

This is a great new way to get many opinions and ideas on design projects. The entire
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
experience was easy and exciting. The designers managed to grasp my concept and get in down on paper. I will be mainly using one of the designs and adding elements from some of the other submissions too. I would definitely recommend and use again.

The quality of the work was so shockingly bad that one person I showed pictures to said "he must've been drunk" in reference to this contractor. We're talking drywall that's out of plumb by more than an inch and that's angled and sloppily bunched up, a cabinet door that could no longer be opened because a tile was misplaced next to it, a new wall beam that was horribly bent, and a contractor who made excuses for these and other details, largely blaming them on my house and its alleged problems with bad framing. (Important here is that the main problems were with what this person newly put in, NOT anything existing.)
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
seemed like a nice guy and did remove the drywall charges from the job quote, but refused to fix his work. Since I have only one bathroom and it was going to be temporarily unusable, I had this work scheduled while I was out of town, and I greatly regret that I wasn't there to prevent this botched job. I can't speak for the design or new construction done by
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
, as I did not use these services.

We hired
Milledgeville Architects Provider Name Locked
after meeting with and receiving bids from several well known Licensed, bonded and insured, local contractors. Bill and his crews arrived on time every day and left the site clean and free of debris at end of day. Work progressed rapidly, with well trained, polite workers, (all of whom are employees, so we did not have to deal with sub-contractors or liens on our property).
Prices are very competative and the quality of the design and the construction work was exceptional! Job was completed early with no cost overruns! I heartily recommend
