Glass Repair And Installation Reviews in Marietta

First let me say that I did call one of the other top rated providers on Angie's List (not going to mention names here) and got a price. They "other" company said they wouldn't come out until the install... Really!?! After that call and having what I considered to be a very high price, I decided to call A&R Glass. Boy I'm very glad I did!
from A&R came out with a helper after very easily scheduling via their office. Extremely nice and very professional. I received a price and approximate install date, as the door glass had to be ordered. True to their word, they came and installed the shower glass on time and the price was what I was quoted. Amazing, especially in this day and age!
OK, you're wondering WHO to call for your glass needs. You're reading reviews trying to make up your mind, just like what I did. Let me save you some valuable time and trouble... Just call A&R Glass and
will do what he says he'll do, when he says he'll do it and you'll pay a very fair price, which matches the quote he gives you. What could be better than that??

Made two trips to our house. 1st to measure window and make templets of pieces in leaded glass that needed to be replaced. He require 1/2 payment up front. At second vist removed existing trim which was difficult to remove and was broken. We had already discussed we would not be able to use existing trim. He replaced broken glass sections on site and cleaned windows. Secures glass in doors with a temporary trim to be replaced at a later date by a trim specialist.

He did exactly what I wanted and in a timely, professional manner. I feel the price was reasonable, as I can no longer climb ladders and I wanted the pictures/mirror hung right, knowing they will stay up. Very pleasant to work with. I will use his company again. He is also framing a print I had and will return it in about a week. I will update on that when he gets it back to me. I would recommend his company.

came and measured for a

glass door for the shower, but when the design came back it was going to be awkward to get in and out, because of the toilet. He offered a less expensive solution that we went with. Great Guy! and we are very pleased with the glass shower doors that are not totally

This was an estimate for a frameless shower door.
I called, spoke with a gentleman who suggested I email the specs to them. I emailed them a diagram with photos and measurements on Tuesday, March 11. I followed up with them an hour later and they said they had what they needed to estimate the project, and that I should hear back from them in a couple of days. I called on Friday the 14th to check in with them and they confirmed that they had my estimate in the works but it would be Monday. Nothing. I called them again on Thursday the 21st and they said that they were still working on it but I would have it by Monday the 24th. It's now Thursday the 27th and I have not heard from them.
At this point I have no interest in working with a company that is so unresponsive. This was a very straight-forward estimate for a

frameless shower door, with nothing unusual or custom. If the job was too small for them, they should have told me. But by the looks of their site, it isn't.

They replaced 10 different window glass (different sizes - small 7" X 18" to 18" x 68". Their work is terrific, professional, dry neat and a pleasure to work with.

is extremely professional and stands behind their work. I couldn't be happier. They created a custom door for our situation (shower at 90 degrees to a tub, and using the end of the tub as part of the shower wall) and it looks awesome.

provided excellent service from start to finish. It was very easy to contact him and set up an appointment. He was very flexible with scheduling which is very difficult to find these days. He contacted me to confirm our appointment earlier in the dat and arrived on time. He worked quickly and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. I was very pleased with how the mirrors looked and the service he provided.

installed a 3/8" thick frameless shower door in our master bath. They were very professional and out of all the quotes I got, they came in right in the middle, so not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Everything about the experience and install was fine. The only complaints I have (minor) are 1. Some of the mounting screws on the upper hinge were drilled at a slight angle, so the heads of the screws do not sit totally flush. This wouldn't be as big of an issue if it was on the lower hinge. 2. The glass was not cleaned after the installation was finished. For as much money as we spent (and the nature of this type of work), I would expect the installer to take a few minutes and clean the glass at the end. The original sticker residue from where the glass manufacturer had their sticker on the glass was left for us to deal with, along with all his fingerprints. Again, not a huge deal, but these small details are keeping this review from being an A+.
I would also like to point out my wife was present for the install (I wasn't). No offense to her, but if I would have been present, I would have pointed these things out and given them a

to make any changes. As minor as they are, it's not worth me calling them up and pitching a fit. At this point, I'll just spend 10 minutes cleaning the glass and live with the not so flush screws. Ultimately, these items should have been taken care of without anyone having to point them out.
Overall, we are happy with the product.

quote was lower than seven [7] other quotes. Courteous, professional, and punctual. I will re-hire when the need arises.
