"My husband is going to have some surgery done and we asked for a recommendation. This is something a urologist would do. Dr.
and Dr.
"
, the kidney specialists treat disease. They don't do the surgery. They referred us to Dr.
. We have seen him. we've been in his office and he is going to do the surgery. He is very, very good. He even did a procedure that as far as diagnostic needs. Usually, you would have to schedule. He was very busy but he made time and did the procedure, so we didn't have to come back again. He is very good, very personable, very professional. He explains things and listens.

"He has been seeing the doctor since 2011. She was very good and was great at explaining everything clearly. The surgery went very well and used no negative bi products. She is great" at following up and is outstanding in every way. She and my husband see eye to eye as far as his treatment has gone. She has a fine staff. We have had no billing complaints or scheduling mix ups. There were sometimes long waits when we visited but I know that they are a busy practice. The office is very nice and parking is easy.

Urology medical specialists

Urology

Urology and urologists deal mainly with the bladder, urethra and kidney. However, the specialty ultimately involves the entire body because these organs affect many functions and cause serious quality of life issues when they don't work well.

While many surgeons sing the praises of robotic surgery, some say it’s no better than traditional surgical options, despite a higher price tag.

To varying degrees, experts say, prostate cancer treatment affects sexual function in most men, including inhibiting ejaculation, diminishing libido and causing erectile dysfunction.

I was told that if the u.t.i. cleared up, my next appointment would be a check up. If it didn't, I would be scoped. I arrived expecting to get the all-clear, but despite the fact it had cleared up, I was directly taken to a different area in the building and was scoped. I was mentally unprepared, and got a nick during the procedure, which then got infected, and I had to have antibiotics again. I never felt that the offices there were very clean. It always seemed dirty to me. I would not go there again.

Excellent bedside manner - Dr
Macon Urologists Provider Name Locked
takes the time to explain everything very well. In subsequent visits, he continued to take time. He favors a fairly conservative approach (i.e., if something is likely to resolve with time, give it some time, don't rush in and do something expensive and unnecessary)
Very pleasant to talk to and an efficient office

I like her very much. She is very knowledgeable, very personable, she knows what her job is, but she just had another baby, so she is down to 2 days a week. You have to wait a long time in her office, because she tries to squeeze in too much in the time she has. Things have changed since she had her 3rd baby. You usually wait an hour before you see her. The office environment is nice.

I've been using him last middle of February until April of this year. I get from a supplier a 120 self intermit catheter a month; the problem was I had two nurses and an MT advising me and I ended up in the emergency room; blood coming out and these catheters have tiny hook at the end which is designed and they just tell you to put in with the hook facing up. That helps navigate up into the bladder. The problem is you put it in and that's where the sun don't shine and which way is it facing, I don't know and I couldn't see. Several sessions later trying different catheters, how stupid it is that I put it in with this hook facing up and then I have no feedback. Nobody had told me that one crucial thing....since then I had no problems at all. When you get my people my age, a lot has to be said and it really be a good coaching and all of them have missed that one crucial thing. But once I found out things were fine. I did mentioned this to Dr.

and he was really concerned. I am sure his staff now routinely tells people about this little marker on the catheter. The staff was nice and helpful but they missed the crucial thing.

I loved my experience with this staff during my pregnancy, delivery, and after care. It was overwhelmingly positive and I felt the care was amazing. I also appreciated never feeling like I was in a 'hospital'. It truly is a wellness center and it is beautiful. I attended all kinds of classes there in preparation for parenthood , which also

to my overwhelmingly positive experience(CPR, childbirth, infant care, cooking, prenatal yoga). I did think the lactation consultant could have been more tender with my baby when trying to help him learn to latch on. The OB from Livonia could also work on her bedside manner, but because of the wonderful experiences that I had with everyone on stafff at the WB location, she is barely a memory worth mentioning. I continue to be a patient of HFWB for primary care, OB/GYN, and my son is a pediatric patient at the Farmington Road facility. I couldn't imagine trusting my care to anyone else. I also love the fact that if something is potentially wrong, I don't have to sit on pins and needles waiting for test results. Typically, I can view all test results within an hour or so. Like I said, amazing!

Listen, you don't ever want to need a urologist, but if you do, then you want to see Dr.
Macon Urologists Provider Name Locked
Bong. He was as kind and considerate to me as the other surgeon who caused the problem was not. He has a warm and caring bedside manner and a great sense of humor. Believe me, it meant a lot to be able to laugh at all in my circumstances. He discussed treatment options with me and we opted to try a less invasive option to see if it would solve my problem. Unfortunately, the damage to my ureter was too extensive and in an unfortunate location, so it wasn't possible to solve my problem with the first procedure. A week later, Dr
Macon Urologists Provider Name Locked
performed robotic surgery to re-implant my ureter back into my bladder. The surgery was a complete success. Through all the various follow up appointments, it was always a pleasure to see Dr
Macon Urologists Provider Name Locked
, even when the procedures themselves were sometimes not at all comfortable. The office is nice, and the support staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. I hope never to need a urologist again, but if I do, I would travel from wherever I live at the time to receive treatment from Dr

He and his staff were very helpful and kind. They set appointments with other doctors to help me make decisions about treatment options. I have called the office during regular office hours and always spoke to a live person who was very willing to help and answer questions.
