"They arrived an hour early, which is okay, but never called to check if that was going to be an issue. While the review that follows does not reflect poorly on" the two individuals that did the installation personally, professionally speaking they didn't exude confidence in me right off the bat. No one identified themselves..and just asked if I could open the garage door. The entire experience from start to finish was frustrating because they obviously weren't in any rush to get the project done. Understandably it was warm the day of installation, but even the gentleman inside took a break every other minute. I would probably guess that had something to do with the age of the two and their physical capabilities. They both seemed to struggle, even to walk up and down stairs. Again, this isn't an attack on them personally, they were still nice people. Neither one were interested in wearing any type of boot covers for their shoes..and when asked to take their shoes off to use my bathroom he complied, the second time he used it, he said forgot and walked over new flooring with his dirty work shoes. Having to use the bathroom isn't the issue, not being aware that you are in a strangers house, and being mindful of and respectful of their home is another thing. Proper etiquette while in someone else's home while providing a service is definitely NOT their strong suit, such as, leaving cigarette buds on the job site and slopping silicon caulk on my freezer are NOT acceptable. Disorganized, Lack of etiquette, and apparent lack of motivation are top of my list as to why I give them this rating.

arrived on time and got to work right away. He was incredibly detailed in his home inspection, taking photos with his iPad and welcoming" us to tag along with him the entire time to get a detailed understanding of the home we were looking to purchase. He left us with a great sense of all concerns with the house and also how to go about fixing these problem areas. Later that day he emailed us a detailed report complete with photos of all problem areas and how to go about fixing them. I would recommend
to anyone looking for a trustworthy home inspection report.

Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that occurs as a decay byproduct of uranium and thorium. Radon forms naturally in the environment, and low levels can be detected in soil, rock and ground water. Homeowners that inhale radon are at risk of lung cancer and even death.

was very professional. The
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Company is family owned and has a limited administrative staff. I found contacting
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was easier by text message (cell phone to cell phone) or leaving a message on his cell phone. At the time of the first test,
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
answered all my questions and concerns about RADON, the mitigation process, how it was to installed and his work crew.
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous in all our meetings.
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
's crew arrived on time and completed the work in less time than estimated. They cleaned up after themselves both in the basement and outside the house. The finished installation was as designed. The crew left the monitor for the post installation 48 hour test. I am very pleased with the work completed by
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
and would recommend them to anyone looking for a RADON contractor.

and another employee from
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
arrived on schedule, covered my carpets for their access, drilled a hole thru the concrete floor out of sight behind my furnace and installed a 4 inch pipe up thru the first floor wall and thru the attic and roof. They also had to install concrete to seal around two sewage ejector pumps and a large valve box in the concrete floor. They also sealed under a basement bathtub drain and toilet drain to prevent further radon leaks through these areas. The radon mitigation fan is installed in the attic and there is a sight tube showing the vacuum level in the pipe behind the furnace. Before sealing around one of the sewage ejector pumps they installed a 4 inch pipe elbow so as to provide a second mitigation system if required. The work took all day and was professionally completed. They temporarily left a recording radon meter to verify the results. I have since used my radon meter to continue monitor the radon gas in our home.
I would highly recommend
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Company to all persons that require a professionally installed Radon Mitigation System with a 5 year warrantee on maintaining the radon levels below 2.7 pCi/L.

Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was very prompt when coming out to provide a quote and get the layout to install a radon mitigation system. He also had the job complete within one week. Additionally the job looks very professional and he cleaned up throughly. Lastly, his wife was very responsive in responding to all email questions.

Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was extremely professional. He came to my home to bid on the work. He explained the job completely to me and how he would install the system in the least conspicuous way. He actually placed the pipe in the basement, extending through the garage and out through the attic. I can view the fan information in my garage anytime I need to. He also sealed the sump pump and has his company's contact information in the garage and basement. His price included the cost of the electrician to do the electrical work for the fan. I didn't have to coordinate anything! Finally, we are doing the self-retest and the paperwork includes him coming back if the test results aren't below the appropriate number. Best experience with a contractor to date! I highly recommend!

's Service Company replaced the radon fan and charged me $350. The work took less than 15 minutes. After the fact, I found that the fan was available at
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
's for $140, so the labor for less than 15 minutes for two men was $210 - way over priced. I also found another radon fan installer that would have done the job (labor and new fan) for $250. I spoke with the owner of the company afterwards about my experience; she was not willing to budge at all about the high price they charged me. I like to patronize local businesses, but I do not like local businesses that gouge consumers.
Shop around before you purchase is my advice.

Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job. The testing was done within 48 hours and the mitigation took place 6 days later. He was very professional and very neat with his work. He was punctual, friendly, and clearly explained everything to me so I could understand.
I would recommend him highly to anyone concerned with this invisible gas.
- Linn S.

The radon test was performed and our tests came back high. They were able to clearly explain the causes of this and the dangers if left untreated.
We decided to have them install their radon mitigation package and it was very competitively priced compared to other people who have had a similar system installed.
We were able to get it scheduled right away and the two guys that came out had us set up in no time.
Our installation was a little out of the norm but they were able to get it figured out and now we are relieved that we don't have to worry about radon with our 4 little kidos in the house.
Highly recommended!

Rich and
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
seemed genuinely dedicated to getting the job done correctly. He was 100 percent tradesman, zero percent salesman; nothing was ever
Kennesaw Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
-coated, upsold or short-cut in the project to get our radon system working and basement radon levels reduced. We're at the tail-end of a whole-house, multi-year home renovation and amid all the contractors that have come and gone, these guys stood out for their evident experience and expertise and drive to do the work correctly. Rich supervised and participated in every minute of the work, and they were at our house from early morning until the job was done, which ended up being after 7 p.m.
If there was any downside to the experience, it was that the crew's single-mindedness in working on our radon system, they didn't always pay much attention to secondary considerations like being gentle with the rest of our house. If you don't want guys unafraid of boring through walls, digging things up, running pipes and getting themselves (and new carpet, and freshly-painted walls) dirty in the process, these guys may not be for you. They'll stand on their heads (and put their boots on your ceiling) to get the job done right. It's clear they really care about their work, and that made a much bigger impression on us.
