has been treating my lawn (Bermuda) for several years now. They visit several times a year to treat our lawn based on what is needed at" that time (pre-emergent, fertilizer, etc.). The lawn always looks great and weed free; if any weeds do appear (not often) they are gone after their next visit as they spot treat them. This company does value it's customers and treats them well at all levels of their organization. Recently, we accidentally overpaid our bill using our banks online bill pay and
called us to confirm if this was correct. I feel like many other companies, like our last lawn service company, would have simply cashed the check. Basically, this is a company that treats their customers well.

is now the lawn care service for me! It all began when I was searching to find a new Lawn Aeration Contractor. Appreciate being connected" through ‘Angie’s List’ drawn by the $60.00 limited time special offer therein. My call to the
office on 08.12.15 connected me with
. She listened to my request for lawn aeration and was able to utilize technology to determine the square footage of my lawn and give me an estimate (that included the Angie’s List special pricing) right then over the phone. Impressed, I asked about other services and she suggested that their top technician
meet with me…’and we did at my home at 11:15 AM on 08.14.15. With a confirmation call to me in advance,
arrived right-on-time. He was very professional in appearance and manor. He listened, answered my questions, talked-me-out of my thinking that I needed to apply a weed control product. That indicated to me that he was interested in doing only what was necessary to achieve results and nothing more. (didn't try to sell me something I didn't need) Because of that I agreed to go forward with
’s recommendations. To that he said he’d communicate/coordinate the plan going forward. Coordination with
continued. As (
) planned,
applied Grub Control on 08.18.15,
Aerated the Lawn, broadcast Grass Seed and applied Starter Fertilizer on 08.26.15.
has also scheduled a Winter Fertilizer application for late October. All who have come to meet/service our lawn have presented themselves in a very professional manner in uniform with clean trucks, tools and equipment always polite and have demonstrated great care for our property. My thanks to the
for a great buying experience! In my view: Quality People, Quality Process, Quality Materials, Quality Work, Quality Operation and a Quality Guarantee. I look forward to a continuing/productive association. I hope this review is helpful in your decision.

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

Everything was fine until we had problems. Called and asked for grub treatment to eliminate armadillo food source. Was told they do not treat for armadillos. After further discussion about my treatment request, I was told that grub treatment was not included in my contract - I never received a copy of list of provided services, yet grub treatment is clearly listed on the web site list of Tru Health services. After getting through to a local manager, she agreed to provide grub treatment.
This spring, I had several dead patches in my year old zoysia sod. New hire technician didn't have a clue but called his supervisor who diagnosed "Zoysia spot" without looking at the lawn and said we needed a fungicide. I said OK. No mention of extra cost, but I soon received a $400 bill. After long discussion with a supervisor,I cancelled my service and refused to pay fungicide bill. Received several collection calls but none recently.
In a year we have had at least five technicians, only one of which seemed to know anything about horticulture. Gave several wrong answers to

fertilization and planting questions. Technicians have left computer printed reports of service provided to include application of liquid nitrogen fertilizer at inappropriate times. Supervisor's response was that this fertilizer was not loaded into their tanks at that time - tech just hit the wrong key. Broadleaf weeds are much fewer than when they started, but nut sedge is rampant.

takes the time to inspect the area and apply the needed treatment. He uses both systemic and contact products to produce outstanding results. What we like best is his personal and sincere concern he shows for our property. You just don't see that too much any more. When he has completed his work he writes a summary of services performed for that day and offers suggestions as to what we may need to change or do according to the season or the issue at hand. I contacted
Hoschton Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
regarding an estimate to begin treating our lawn. Our lawn had fungus, weeds and looked unhealthy. Although there was more of a delay than I would have liked in getting the initial estimate and beginning treatment our lawn looks so much better after just one treatment. They suggested we cut our grass at the highest setting and noticed that we had an insect that was causing a lot of our brown patches which I thought was all due to fungus (which we also have). They contacted me the day before to let me know when they would be out so I could make sure our dogs were inside. They showed up on time.

They were punctual in calling and in arriving when scheduled. They were friendly, answered my questions and worked hard. The roof looks great now. I was very pleased.

It went very well. The staff came out did the work and even did a little more to make things look consistent. I will use this company again in the future. Best price around and the work is great! Honest information/advice from the owner. No high pressure sale. He listens to what you need and gives you advice on what he can deliver.
Honest staff!...More /> If you are looking for someone to help you figure out what you can do with your landscaping, this is the company.
Great Price and great work!

I came home from work today and there was a little sign in my yard which told me they'd been there. This is my second treatment and so far I am very pleased. My lawn is on the "Bridge" program which will control the weeds in my lawn as well as fertilize it. I saw a big improvement after the first treatment (no more clover) and expect to see even more improvement over the course of the next year. Then we switch over to an entirely organic program!

We have an annual contract with
Hoschton Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
for trees and shrubs, for the entire yard. Tree and shrub serviceman came out to spray trees and shrubs and was upset that I was only charged $49 per treatment. I had no idea how much I was paying, until he told me. He refused to spray my backyard. My five lelands in the back are dropping leaves and turning brown, so I asked him to at least spray them. He got very angry, stormed off to his truck, kicked the passenger door shut, got in and slammed his door, and sped down the street to the other end of my lot. He then got out, grabbed his hose, and stormed into my back yard. Was so unprofessional and irrational. Also, did not leave an invoice in my door describing the services he performed, as they normally do. That same day 8/18, I called
Hoschton Lawn Treatment Services Provider Name Locked
to complain, was put in a queue, left my number. The next day 8/19, they did not return call, I called back and explained to

what had happened and asked for a manager to call me. She was very apologetic, said my problem was high priority, and assured me a manager would call me. Also told me serviceman had delleted my service call from the system, so she did not know who it was, but asked me for a description. On Friday, 8/21, I still had not heard from

. i called back, talked to another

, she pulled up my account, read my complaint, and was very apologetic. She told me it had high priority status and a manger should call me by 3. She said if not, I should call back. Really??? That evening, still no call. I emailed the corporate headquaters stating my problem. I have never received a call from anyone. On Monday, 8/24, I called and canceled my aeration service. Today 8/25, I called and cancelled the rest of my services. Asked for a refund since I had prepaid for the year. Meantime, my cypress and lelands are full of spider mites and two ornamental trees have scale, even thiough i have paid

The most recent and final problem is that in March I ordered an a flea and tick application as part of my annual service. During the summer, we were having problems with ants. The technician said the lawn needed treatment and it was approved, but the technician did not adequately explain there would be an additional charge over the annual cost. We were billed for an add-on to the annual service, at a price far exceeding the price of the original service we ordered. When I contacted the office, my complaint was ignored and no offer was made even to investigate my complaint.
During this period, I found that mites were destroying a well established hedge. Either the spraying included in the annual charge was not done, or it was ineffective. It took numerous calls, at least one no-show by the technician, and not less than 10 days to get a technician out to spray, or re-spray if they ever did it in the first place. That was despite my plea for quick service due to the obvious damage to the hedge. After his visit, the technician left a note saying everything looks great, despite the obvious distress of the plants! That was six weeks ago and the plants have still not recovered.
