2014 my
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
bill went up to $174 and I called AT&T to see if they could extend my discounts for another year. If they couldn't, I was going to move to Time
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
because their service cost was much lower AND they were offering a free

Tablet to new customers. Customer service said they could extend the discounts and my basic cost (before taxes and fees) would go from $152 to $132 AS LONG AS I agreed to a 12 month contract. I agreed to the terms and, after checking my account on-line, saw that an order had been completed on 2
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
for the cost and terms we'd agreed on. Then I waited ten days before checking the amount of my next bill and discovered that the order had not been implemented. So I called AT&T again and was reassured that they would take care of it. However, after two more calls I was told that part of the discounts ($18) were only good for one month! After that time, the cost goes back UP another $18. I was NOT told this when I agreed to a 12 month contract. Because I was unhappy about the situation, the representative said she'd have a supervisor call me to discuss the problem.
18 hours later I was still waiting to hear from an AT&T supervisor so it appears AT&T doesn't care if they have an unhappy customer! Now I'm locked into a 12 month contract that I can't break without paying a hefty penalty. I'm very upset because it appears that I was TOLD I'd receive several discounts in order to get me to stay with AT&T. Once I agreed to a 12 month contract they simply reversed part of the discounts and raised my cost by $18.
I feel that I WAS TRICKED with promises that AT&T won't stand behind. At the end of the 12 month contract I will switch to TIME

and never use AT&T again!

We had our son come up to meet with the technician because he understands technology so much better than we do. Basically while this might get better over time there is nothing that can be done now UNLESS we go to TiVo with MediaCom. That will be much more expensive.
The technician told us there appeared to be weak signal coming from the box on the road so they are to be out today to fix that. He said we didn't need to be home for that. Despite that we've been getting calls for the past several days saying they will be out today somewhere between 8A and 8P and I must be home to answer the phone when they are on their way out or the service call will be rescheduled. So here I sit at home today captive in the house as they call on our home phone!
Our neighbors are telling us to cancel our MediaCom TV service and just keep their phone and internet as they are the best you can get here in Angola.
They suggest we contact Dish TV and get the hoppers. So I guess that is what we look into.

appointment set up for 1pm to 3pm tech called said he was on his way which was already 3:30 pm. he showed at 410pm took at until almost 7:30 to complete the installation. He had tool belt that everytime he turned especially around furniture and doorways the tools in the belt would hit the wood work. The gentleman himself was polite and seemed to know his job. Actually went out of his way to please since he was so late getting there. I did explain that I understood he shouldnt be blamed but that the company needs to understand people still have jobs and under
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
policy someone needs to be home. I could have actually worked a full day and still been home in time for tech to do the installation IF Charter would have called to state he was going to be late. The technition did have almost a 3/4 hour drive from his last job.

The tech was very knowledgeable and polite. He explained and demonstrated the upgrades to our home TV and internet systems. We had used
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
in the past for our TV service but switched to one of the satellite service providers for a better price. That turned out to be a mistake as we had no or poor TV signal in bad weather. We also had two of the boxes or receivers for the satellite systems fail. We had to ship the defective box back and wait for a replacement. The last time this happened we were told it would take two weeks to get a replacement shipped to us and they didn't have techs that made service calls. That was the last straw. When you call
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
you talk to someone that cares and you get a tech dispatched to your home in a timely manner. If you have a problem with your internet service you call and talk to someone that speaks English, answers the phone quickly, and has the knowledge and tools to fix your problem easily. No one does service better then

Good service call.
But there are almost daily service interruptions, that
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
offers no explanation for, most service interruptions are only minutes long,
but are a nuisance.
The requirement to have at least basic video cable TV service in addition to Internet increases fees from 50 to $74 per month.
We use DirectTV in
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
of Cable TV for television services, and ROKU for Movie services.
I am waiting to see what happens with the AT&T/DirecTV merger, but thinking about switching to AT&T as my internet service provider.

When I went into the store to cancel the tv and phone service, but keep the internet, the customer service rep acted like it was not any problem for her. She did not inquire as to why we were canceling two services but keeping the third. She didn't offer another "deal" or promotion. They did not care when I returned to modem ( bought my own). However, I do get mail and email from them telling me about their " great products".

I hear complaints from friends/family about the service interruptions & billing issues they have & it makes me grateful that I live in
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
coverage! I have seldom, in 16 years had a service interruption & NEVER have I had a billing issue. The price is right AND consistent much like the service itself. The only complaint I have is the new routers they are using. They do not allow you to personalize the network name or the password. I run a beauty/barber shop & it was a lot easier for people to find my network when it was my shop name rather than a long list of random (to us outside of BH) numbers & letters. And even easier for me to remember the passcode when it was the shop phone number. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about, I love

The call center, once you get in, is very helpful and scheduled a technician. Technician is top notch. Friendly and used to work for
Fort Stewart Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
, That is the WONDERFUL company that Charter bought out. We aren't excited about being part of a much larger provider but in a rural area, there are no real options. Overall, it is good service with really good technical support.
