Business Description: Rather than using medications to address insomnia, I look at the behaviors, negative emotions, and thoughts that may be keeping you from sleeping. Cognitive-behavioral treatment of insomnia, or CBT-I, has been recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine as a first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. It goes beyond the "sleep hygiene" most people have already tried to figure out the specific factors that are contributing to your insomnia. As Atlanta's only certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist, I have unique training and experience helping with people with sleep disorders. Cost: I am in-network for several major insurance plans, and I will file out-of-network as well. If cost looks to be a hardship for you, we can talk about sliding scale fees.
