"We have been dealing with fertility issues for the past 6 years now. We finally get pregnant through IVF out of state and were looking for a good doctor close to" us in our area. We heard good things about some of the Doctors with
and we were looking to go to Bethesda North since it was much closer than
Hospital where we had been going. After submitting all of our medical records and paying fees to have them transferred we waited. We finally received a call and we were told "No". There was no explanation as to why just "No" and we were told there was no one who we could talk to. So we can't talk about the service at GHA but as for their review process, it needs a little work. Very disappointed

"Dr. C. was concerned, helpful, supported the findings of the PA, recommended further tests and eventually helped set up an appt. with an appropriate surgeon.

Absolutely amazing. Dr. Camber is highly skilled and compassionate. She knows how to communicate and even has a sense of humor! I completely trust her and have been through a lot of doctors. I was a high risk pregnancy each time. She did three c-sections for me. Cannot refer her enough!

Love this practice! All the Dr's and nurses are friendly, helpful and willing to take time to answer all my questions. Front staff is great. I had really looked forward to having Dr

at the birth of our first child but I went into labor on the weekend and they share on call duties with other practices. My friend who had been going to another practice ended up in the same situation but had Dr

This doctor is fabulous. He really listens to his patients and provides various options. He also does not dismiss your concerns and will perform extra tests if it will set your mind at ease. I could write a book about the good experiences I have had with this physician. Not all his staff were as friendly, but none were rude. Regardless, he is definitely worth it.

He was very knowledgeable. His demeanor was so reassuring. He was always calm and always put me at ease. He was willing to give you any and all information, making you feel confident about the whole pregnancy process. He made sure you knew what to expect. He was very professional and attentive. He was a very busy doctor.

My husband and I were pregnant with our first child. We started going to a practice with eight doctors. The idea is that you see each doctor and pick which one you would prefer for the majority of your visits. Two major problems with this, for us, was the lack of personal attention and no matter who you scheduled to deliver you there was a large

you were going to get someone else. We had great experiences with one of the doctors and a horrible experience otherwise. So we switched approximately half way through our pregnancy. Dr.

was the number one referral from another doctor. We called his office, set the appointment and boom! From the moment we met him, we fell in love. It is rare, nowadays, to find a solo practice ObGyn (might I say one million times better). He sat us down and spoke to us as people, not numbers on his list. It was personal and enjoyable. He got to know us and always made us feel welcome. There was not a moment I hesitated to call and ask him about anything (literally, he has his home phone attached to his work line, in case of emergencies); any fear I had, any false alarm (and we definitely had a few).. Anything. He made himself accessible one hundred percent of the time. Aside from all of that, most importantly, he knows what he is doing. He has been in this practice for a long time and does not

coat anything. He is tactful with his delivery of information yet comfortingly descriptive and upfront. I never felt alone or scared that something would go wrong. Security is huge during a pregnancy. I highly HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and everyone. I would consider myself very discerning, when it comes to my doctors. I want someone who gets to know me, takes the time to precisely and accurately assess and proves they know what they are doing. I also understand when things happen because, let’s be real, things happen. As human as he is, I cannot recall a mistake throughout our entire pregnancy and up into our delivery. I always entered his office beaming from ear to ear with a smile, excited to see him and left even happier. He always included my husband and treated us as a unit, which was comforting for both my husband and I. Dr.

delivers out of Fair Oaks Hospital, which is in the same string of buildings as his office (very convenient). Through all of our false alarms and for the final day, the staff was more than accommodating. The staff was equally as personable and knowledgeable as Dr.

. We had fun with them, even during the most painful contractions. Step by step they were there by my side, until we were discharged. He is now my regular Ob and will most definitely be the doctor I use for the rest of my pregnancies. I could easily write a book on how wonderful our experience was, with him. Thank you Dr. Tashamn, you are amazing!

is very kind, compassionate, and thorough, and I trust her judgment more than other physicians I have seen in the past. In all the time I have been coming to this office, I have never felt rushed. Every question I have ever asked is answered thoroughly and professionally. Her office staff is also always courteous and professional as well. I highly recommend her as a health care provider.

We were somewhat optimistic after our first meeting with Dr
Dawson Women's Services Provider Name Locked
- he spent a lot of time with us, was friendly, and gave us an excellent prognosis. In hindsight, we were naive to take his word for it, given that he arrived at that prognosis without doing ANY testing whatsoever (not even a basic blood draw). He started me on oral medication with a trigger shot, and despite several unsuccessful cycles (and me being 35), he literally waved us off (almost a "talk to the hand" gesture) when we tried to ask questions about whether to pursue more aggressive treatment. Then a couple of cycles later, I saw the nurse for an appointment and she told me we absolutely should be more aggressive and suggested IUI.
As it turns out, our IUI was the last straw for us. There is a ton of research which shows that IUI should be done within 30-60 min after collection. WFI schedules the procedure for TWO HOURS after collection. We were then kept waiting for another 20 minutes past my appointment time, during which time we could hear Dr.

and a bunch of nurses loudly joking around and socializing in the hallway (the waiting room was FULL of increasingly angry patients). I'd been told to come to the appointment with a full bladder and after waiting 20 minutes, I was actually in PAIN because I needed to use the restroom so badly. When I told the nurse that they cannot ask people to come with a full bladder and then keep them waiting, she apologized profusely and insisted that is "not the norm" for IUI's there. Then she tried to tell me that the delay was because Dr

was "doing an inservice for the nurses." Unfortunately for her, all of us in the waiting room had clearly heard their social conversation in the hallway, and even if the lie were true, what kind of clinic stops everything in the middle of the day for an impromptu inservice with a waiting room full of people who are there for time sensitive procedures!? We were also told by Dr.
Dawson Women's Services Provider Name Locked
that we'd done a lot of medicated cycles and needed to be more aggressive and that we needed to go straight to IVF. We were angry about this because suddenly after being told for months that there's no need to try other options, we're suddenly being told we need this $15,000 procedure (none if which is covered by insurance) but even after nine months there, they've still done absolutely NO TESTING of any kind. I then looked at their IVF success rates and found that they are far below the national average (look up the SART data). At that point, we realized we were just dollar signs to them, and we've now made an appointment to switch to Generations through UW. I would urge anyone to DO YOUR RESEARCH before choosing an RE. If we had, we would never have gone to WFI and we'd have saved a lot of heartache and money.
