professional, reasonable and charged a very fair price to pick up the lawnmower and return it. Additionally, the lawnmower was
returned to me in the time frame as promised. You won't beat their service.
there was an on/off valve put on the fuel line, the blades had been
sharpened, and that the entire thing had been tuned up and was in
excellent working condition. We purchased the item with the notice that
the motor had 30 days coverage. During the first use, we noticed the
gas tank leaked if it was filled above halfway, indicating the gasket on
the tank was faulty. After three more uses, the blades wouldn't
engage. I phoned them (8/30/14) first thing in the morning and asked for assistance as we had only
had this machine from them for a month and it already wouldn't do what it was purchased for. The daughter of the owner was very kind on the phone, but failed to return my call within a reasonable amount of time. I called again, and was told by the daughter (
She called at 2:50pm and said they were on their way to pick up the mower, that the driver would be here in a few minuts, and that it would cost $20. Two hours later, someone shows up to pick up the mower. I asked him if we could get it back by the next weekend, and he specified it wouldn't be a problem.
A week later 9/5, I call around 4pm and ask what the status of the mower is. The daughter said they hadn't even touched it yet. She would move it to the front of the line to be looked at first thing the next day. I asked that she call me first thing in the morning to let me know when it would be fixed and delivered.
At 12:41pm on 9/6 I had not yet received a response from the repair shop. I phoned AGAIN, and after being handed around to different people, was told it would be ready Monday or Tuesday. I explained that this was inexcusable and I was told the mower would be ready. I had already been passed around and I was starting to
At 3:05 I get a call stating that the belt had broken and been replaced, and that they would put a used gas tank on it. Parts and labor would be $96.00+.
Right then I explained that what they were expecting was unreasonable. She put her dad on the phone and asked me what my problem was I questioned the fact that at the time of sale I was told that it had a tune up and was in excellent working condition, and he said that he didn't guarantee any parts on it after it was sold. I explained to him that after a mere 35 days, this machine should be functioning without issue, unless he was selling
I said to bring my mower, and I would be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angie's List. He said "Fine with me."
They just showed up to deliver it, and they don't take checks. They never told me they didn't take checks. Now I have to go in there on Monday, and they'll deliver it after 5pm. This is absolutely ridiculous.
