"They did a great job! We purchased our home about 7 months ago. When we purchased it, there were some cracks in our foundation as well as some slanting of our floors. After reviewing" several structural engineers, we decided to go with
. Andriy did a very thorough inspection of our structure and provided solutions to all of our issues. In total, he spent between 90 minutes to 2 hours performing the inspection. In addition, he'll be sending a report of the inspection (the inspection took place only 2 days ago). Would highly recommend!

was just great to work with. I needed a beam sized for a load bearing wall for my kitchen remodel.
was able to come by the day that I" called him and advise me. He wanted to make sure I knew he was available at any time the wall was being built if I wasn't comfortable with something. Excellent service and a really good guy

"This was an absolutely wonderful experience. As a new homeowner, I wanted to learn more about my property and their Angie's List deal was a perfect opportunity to identify and" potential for long-term foundation issues, drainage concerns, and potential options for repairing and / or replacing some of my older concrete slabs. At the scheduled time, two very cheerful
engineers arrived and we started taking a look around the exterior of the house. As we started looking around the exterior, they took the time to talk to me about any potential concerns I had, areas to which I might like to have special attention given, and generally got to know me and my house. Looking at the concrete slabs, they were able to identify options for re-leveling those that had shifted over time, noting the areas of some slabs that might be more problematic than others. Examining my drainage, they verified that the current arrangement was largely adequate; the one area that was of concern was identified and explained in quite a bit of detail, and they indicated what the proper resolution would be (which I could handle myself). Completing the exterior analysis, they expertly identified a few areas that they suggested be monitored for any shifting, providing me with the monitoring devices and instructions for installing them properly. The interior analysis involved taking measurements of all ceilings to identify any shifts in the structure of the house - they took a good number of measurements from both levels. They also thoroughly inspected the lower level for any signs of water penetration. I would note that I was both surprised and very pleased to discover that they were both very pet-friendly people. Having completed their measurements, they summarized the result of the visit and were merrily on their way. Within a few days, I had estimates for the identified issues and a report that detailed the examination and findings. It was an absolute pleasure to meet both the engineers, get to know them, and have them perform such a careful and professional analysis of our home. Thanks to them, we have exactly the information we were hoping to get and will definitely be utilizing them in the future. Thank you both so much!

designed a horizontal beam and attachments to replace some old vertical posts that were supporting the floor above. The finished product, a permit plan (including drawings, beam-size calculations, and attachment diagrams) was thorough and easy to understand, and was used by our contractor to install the beam.

was on time and very professional. He spent an appropriate amount of time evaluating the 2 areas we had requested. He documented the inspection w/ photos, measurements, and sketches. He provided a verbal preliminary report and is to provide a written final report w/ specifications for the mods we are proposing. (Removing a wall upstairs and a post downstairs.) We were happy to hear that our mods were going to be less complicated than originally thought and consequently less expensive. We have the peace of mind that the proposed changes are structurally sound and will be done correctly.

The inspection itself went really well and they gave us some great information about our home. The only disappointing thing is that we have not received our letter of inspection from him. This just states that a structrual engineer has inspected the property and determined what issues have arisen. I have been trying to contact him about this since the inspection was finished and still haven't heard back.

I was a bit limited for time and
Brunswick Structural Engineers Provider Name Locked
worked with me to find the date and time that I could make. I was met on time, the procedure explained, the house was checked out and then I was given a review and all the information I needed. Fortunately for us, it was all good news. The price I paid for the service was the price I was quoted. Paperwork signed and the report was emailed. Very efficient and informative - it certainly relieved a lot of stress. Thanks

and Pier Magic are very knowledgeable about the work they do. I would trust them to do the work. The estimate I received is right in line with the other foundation companies I have acquired quotes from. This company seemed like the most knowledgeable and responsible. I have not had this work done yet. The range of quotes for this work is $13,000-$18,000. Pier Magic is at the top of my list because I feel I can trust them the most. Their quote is $16,500. This is reasonable for this type of work with a reputable company like Pier Magic. I will put out a review when the work is completed, by whomever I choose to do the work.

was wonderful about calling me back and even though what we need isn't something he'll be assisting us with, he was wonderful in taking the time to discuss different options with me, talk about who to contact and how to approach what we need. He was very friendly and professional. We'll definitely contact him in the future if we have engineering needs.
