"If you do not know where to start take advantage of this resource. Your adviser will ask you questions about your family members needs, price they can afford for" the facility and will provide a list of properties based on the information you provide. They are paid a fee by the facility if you select one from the properties they provide you. You must, must, must visit any facility you are considering because price alone does not guarantee a good facility. The property I selected was not one provided by

"Everything went very smoothly with
and
from day one. We were able to get caregiver placed very quickly. We did" go through a few caregivers during the first few months, but that was more due to my mother-in-law's personality than anything else. The office was always able to send someone new right away though, so there was no lapse in care. We liked everyone who was sent to the house, they were all very courteous and professional. They took very good care of her, preparing her meals, laundry, bathing her and keeping her company. My mother-in-law could do none of these things on her own. We stopped using Visiting
because her condition continued to deteriorate so we contacted Hospice. We had a very good experience with the
office for
. They helped us incredibly and I would recommend them to anyone who needs that type of assistance with a loved one.

Independent living

As we age, many home responsibilities may become more of a burden. The benefits of an independent living community for seniors can enhance and elderly person's lifestyle while giving that added level of support.

We were with them for a little over a year. We found another provider when I could no longer properly take care of her at home, when my wife needed 24 hour care. We had several caretakers here who mostly all excellent.

They were immediately responsive. I found them very organized and professional. We were bringing my uncle in from another state, and they had everything ready to go when we arrived home. Our nurse (

He was put in a private room without monitoring. His oxygen line came off his nose and couldn't get help until a friend came to visit & found him near death . Even then the visiting friend had difficulty getting attention of staff.I would caution anyone from considering this facility. My dad had to be sent back to hospital intensive care and his recovery was set back several months.

Auburn Retirement Community Provider Name Locked
provides support for caregivers, and non-caregivers alike. It is an invaluable resource in all kinds of medical management, caregiving techniques, as well as helping you find agencies or facilities that are in the area where you are.

The site is carefully moderated, and inappropriate comments and suggestions are removed as soon as they are reported or found. The authors of the articles on the websites are quite knowledgeable and helpful in providing insight into some of the disease processes the human body goes through in it's lifetime.

I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs help with any kind of medical concern for a loved one or oneself!

Auburn Retirement Community Provider Name Locked
(MWL) Caregivers have been providing daily Home Personal Care services for me daily since mid-February 2014; assisting with dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, transfers, laundry, errands, and medication reminders. The daily assistance from MWL caregivers has enabled me to remain in my own home despite my advancing Multiple Sclerosis. We have been incredibly impressed with MWL. They have not only been reliable, completely dependable about times of service, and being kind and compassionate, they have also gone the extra mile. The business owners have developed a personal relationship with our family even brought cards made by their own children. Everything we have asked of them, they have done plus a lot extra.

Very responsive to my parent's needs. When ramp parts shipment was delayed due to no fault of
Auburn Retirement Community Provider Name Locked
, they installed a temporary ramp so my mom could get in and out of the house. They then removed that ramp and installed the custom ramp about a week later. It was exactly what my mom needed. When she no longer needed it, they promptly came and removed the ramp, leaving no damage to the stone steps in front of the house. They have offered to try to resell the ramp to recoup some of our investments. Overall, very satisfied with their professionalism and service. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Auburn Retirement Community Provider Name Locked
is a retirement community with a big plus. My wife and I consider it a terrific deal !!! We have been here over 4 years now. It's a bit like living on a cruise ship, but with even more activities (and a much larger "cabin"). On top of that, when or if either of us has a serious health problem we will be taken care of in the attached facilities (the
Auburn Retirement Community Provider Name Locked
Center) which cover skilled nursing, assisted living, memory problems and hospice care - all at no extra cost. In short, it is what is called a life care facility. If you want to learn more about it, give them a call, or if you just want to ask a few questions, you can contact me at ed2es@yahoo.com I can even send you a copy of our newsletter if you are interested.
