Alpharetta Fireplace Contractors Reviews

"We paid him for fence and to date he did not install the fence, over $10, 000 We paid for landscaping and he did not finish that work. Our irrigation system was busted by his crew, we paid him to fix it and he did not. "
"The experience was good. Within a few weeks, the part they installed turned out to be defective and cracked. They were very responsive with coming out to replace it. They did a great job overall."
"Our 27 year old flagstone chimney was showing cracks in the mortar, leaning away from the house and we could see the rotting wood inside the structure. We called

after seeing their positive reviews on Angie's List. From the initial consultation and estimate to the completion of the job, the professionalism of this company exceeds all expectations! They scheduled the job promptly, showed up on time, and worked through 3 days of rain to complete this job. They removed the stone facade reaching 20 feet, removed all rotted wood, then rebuilt the entire chimney chase, including a new cap on the roof. The job site was clean and free of any safety hazards at all times. The crew's knowledge of current fire code compliance and modern framing methods was evident throughout the construction. We are so impressed with

"Real professional from the beginning. Mailed a confirmation postcard two days in advance. Arrived on time. Very patient and willing to answer any questions. Knows his stuff. I highly recommend. You can tell he has integrity."
"Fantastic experience. These guys started the day they promised, were here every day from 7:00 a.m. until sun down. They worked extremely hard, provided great ideas, in many cases money saving ideas, high quality work, and returned my phone call within the hour if I ever had a question. Very nice guys and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!"

was friendly, listened to what we were looking for and provided us with the solution. There was nothing we did not like. The first cosmetic changes that he made, the color was not what we were expecting so he came back and fixed it for us. We thought the pricing was reasonable."
"I had a wood-burning gas fireplace, in excellent condition. I wanted to have the chimney swept out, prior to having it converted (by a different company) into a log-burning gas fireplace. I was told that someone would call me back to provide a quote, & then to schedule an appointment for the work, should I wish to proceed. When I received the call back, the caller had a rather abrasive attitude. He "demanded" to know who was doing the conversion and why it wasn't

? After all, didn't I know that they did such conversions? He automatically assumed my decision was cost driven and began explaining why my thinking was faulty and that I shouldn't allow costs to stop me from hiring them. He then began to "lecture me" on the importance of my ensuring that "not one speck of dust remain in my chimney", after it's been cleaned, or it won't be adequately cleaned for my conversion and problems will result. You get what you pay for, and as a final straw, "he demanded" to know the name of the company I hired to do the conversion? His

suggested he felt he had some right to know! Because I was willing to, I told him I'd hired Builders Specialties; a very reputable & reliable company. However, he opted to say absolutely nothing in reply; he merely changed the subject. I thanked him for his time, told him I'd give it some thought and call back if I was further interested in hiring them.
Nevertheless, they called me a few days later, to follow up and see what I had decided. I explained that I'd already had the work completed by another vendor. I then inquired about the man I'd spoken with before and whether or not he was their business owner? I was sadden to learn that he was indeed the owner. I have little hope for the value of a customer's feedback, when it's the business owner himself who treats potential customers poorly. Nevertheless, I told the woman calling why he failed to acquire my business and asked that she pass the information onto him. I hoped he'd use my critique to improve his customer service skill set. In the interim, it won't matter if his costs are practically free. I prefer to support companies that build their businesses with their customer base in mind. Always consider customers and customers will always consider your business!

"This project was carried out very well.

"Arvydas had to come out once to measure and inspect the chimney so that he could get the right size part. And then he came back this morning and completed the entire installation in about 35 minutes. Total cost was $300 for parts and labor.
