"Confidently gave a diagnosis that was right on. Very friendly, capable, knowledgable and kind. Highly recommended by my internist. Now highly recommended by me!

-Sally W.

"Former patient of Dr.
. Very pleased with him in the past. Because several years had passed I was considered new patient and he wasnt accepting." Passed off to Dr
. Because I didnt require surgery she passed me off to Dr.
who butchered my toes and nails. They are now crooked with an ingrown root fragment. Seeking a new doc to try and repair.

Podiatry reviews in Venice

Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
knows his stuff and is very personable. I've been to other podiatrists so I appreciate the difference in care. I hope to stay with his care as long as my feet give me a hard time.
I got shoe inserts recently for plantar fascitis. He gave me some to try and then adjusted them when they were too high. He also invited me to stop in if they still give me trouble and he'd do a quick adjustment on them. He's very laid back and he listens well.

I went to this doctor for persistent Ath Foot and a wart on a toe. Having tried other things I asked for the wart to be BURNED off. She acknowledged my request and then before I knew it she put some bug guts compound on my foot rather than burning it off. This fluid ran all between my toes and I developed major swelling and blistering causing me to miss

and wear a

to work for over a week due to the swelling. Needless to say I was p*****. This was NOT an accident. This is for some reason her preferred method and she was in a hurry and she just did it. She knew EXACTLY what I meant when I asked for it to be burned off. I ended up having to get it burned off THREE times for it to be effective. She added a LOT to my pain and suffering. The wart was in a difficult location and if she was not willing to do what I asked she should have declined rather than do what I didn't want. I ALSO at this time requested to go on ORAL ath foot treatment. Appropriately she said she needed blood work to see if I was OK to do so. I was told to fill the prescription but not start on it until I heard back from the office about my blood tests. A MONTH latter I had to call and ask. And even then I was told... "well I guess the tests must have been ok because you didn't hear back". They wouldn't even LOOK at make sure. To add insult to injury My type 1 diabetic son was told to start seeing a podiatrist by his

Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
... shouldn't you KNOW what to do with a diabetic patient Dr.

? I also in another situation had THREE appointments canceled by her office a few days before the appointment because she was busy or had to schedule a "procedure". Ridiculous! She's the only Podiatrist in town... still going to go elsewhere...

My surgery was at INOVA in
Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
, and it was an overnight stay. His choice of a hospital even though he had privileges at on that was closer to my home; absolutely no argument from me because the care that I got at INOVA was awesome. Compared to earlier surgeries to repair the ankle, post-surgical pain after the first 24 hrs was much less than I'd experienced before. Dr
Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
was very clear in explaining the role that I would play in my recovery and how that would be critical in my success. And believe me I followed the rules!!! Surgery was in early Feb. and I was 100% weight off until I got clearance the last week of April. I've paced myself and done more as I felt I could, and backed off when I'd pushed too far. I walk without a brace 99% if the time, and only use a compression sleeve when I know I'm going to walking more than usual or if my ankle is swollen (and swelling is definitely not as frequent or as much as before). In fact, I'll see him again in about a month, after a college Greek reunion & some major walking around that area.
My goal is to be his next fusion video!!! He is an awesome physician, and in my case, a truly phenomenal surgeon! Actually, I think he's pretty darn proud of me, too!

After seeing a doctor for the first time in a 15-minute appointment, I've never had a doctor tell me that there's nothing that can be done for treating or easing chronic pain. Dr.
Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
was not very warm, showed little enthusiasm, and, after a cursory examination, said to take aspirin and apply cold compress...it was like having WebMD read to me. I wish I had read the reviews here before seeing him, so it was a waste of my $20 co-pay.

I just do not agree with the previous comments. Toenails were painfully digging into my skin, I called the office before I made the
appointment, gave the appropriate person there my insurance info, told that person my symptoms, then called back—again, this was before the appointment—yes, I was told, my insurance would cover the cost of the appointment. Additionally, there was email about this interaction. The doctor did satisfactorily cut back the toenails—but then I was charged in full for the appointment, presumably because it turned out not to be covered. I complained, not what I like to do, then the doctor gave me every excuse in the book about why, contrary to what I was told before the visit, I was charged in full (the person who does pre-authorization hadn’t much training, I was fortunate not to have every indication of a serious ingrown toenail condition, etc.), we ended up splitting the charges. The question remains: why was I told that my insurance covered the visit—and I came in under that premise-—but nevertheless I was charged. I felt taken advantage of.

As Dr.

is one of the most highly recommended podiatrists in south central
Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
, I expected to have a long wait to get in as a new patient. However, his office staff worked with my schedule and I had an appointment in just a few weeks.
The exam was thorough and he considered more than just the most common cause for my symptoms. He clearly communicated what he was testing for and why. The treatment plan included all aspects from medication and exercises to foot wear and insole inserts.

Venice Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
was very pleasant and professional. He explained how my bunion is hereditary and will continue to grow every 6 months. He took out a tool that looked like a pocket knife and I was rather nervous. However, when he began to shave the bunion, I felt no pain. He was gentle and asked if I was okay. I recommend him highly. His office was very neat and clean and the staff was very friendly.
