"
was extremely professional. He came to my home to bid on the work. He explained the job completely to me and how he would install the system" in the least conspicuous way. He actually placed the pipe in the basement, extending through the garage and out through the attic. I can view the fan information in my garage anytime I need to. He also sealed the sump pump and has his company's contact information in the garage and basement. His price included the cost of the electrician to do the electrical work for the fan. I didn't have to coordinate anything! Finally, we are doing the self-retest and the paperwork includes him coming back if the test results aren't below the appropriate number. Best experience with a contractor to date! I highly recommend!

"
's Service Company replaced the radon fan and charged me $350. The work took less than 15 minutes. After the fact, I found that the" fan was available at
's for $140, so the labor for less than 15 minutes for two men was $210 - way over priced. I also found another radon fan installer that would have done the job (labor and new fan) for $250. I spoke with the owner of the company afterwards about my experience; she was not willing to budge at all about the high price they charged me. I like to patronize local businesses, but I do not like local businesses that gouge consumers. Shop around before you purchase is my advice.

Radon

Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that occurs as a decay byproduct of uranium and thorium. Radon forms naturally in the environment, and low levels can be detected in soil, rock and ground water. Homeowners that inhale radon are at risk of lung cancer and even death.

did an excellent job. The testing was done within 48 hours and the mitigation took place 6 days later. He was very professional and very neat with his work. He was punctual, friendly, and clearly explained everything to me so I could understand.
I would recommend him highly to anyone concerned with this invisible gas.

The radon test was performed and our tests came back high. They were able to clearly explain the causes of this and the dangers if left untreated.
We decided to have them install their radon mitigation package and it was very competitively priced compared to other people who have had a similar system installed.
We were able to get it scheduled right away and the two guys that came out had us set up in no time.
Our installation was a little out of the norm but they were able to get it figured out and now we are relieved that we don't have to worry about radon with our 4 little kidos in the house.
Highly recommended!

-coated, upsold or short-cut in the project to get our radon system working and basement radon levels reduced. We're at the tail-end of a whole-house, multi-year home renovation and amid all the contractors that have come and gone, these guys stood out for their evident experience and expertise and drive to do the work correctly. Rich supervised and participated in every minute of the work, and they were at our house from early morning until the job was done, which ended up being after 7 p.m.
If there was any downside to the experience, it was that the crew's single-mindedness in working on our radon system, they didn't always pay much attention to secondary considerations like being gentle with the rest of our house. If you don't want guys unafraid of boring through walls, digging things up, running pipes and getting themselves (and new carpet, and freshly-painted walls) dirty in the process, these guys may not be for you. They'll stand on their heads (and put their boots on your ceiling) to get the job done right. It's clear they really care about their work, and that made a much bigger impression on us.

The complany was great to work with. The results of the testing confirmed elevated Radon levels. The owner went over in detail concerns with pro and con of different approaches. Never high pressure or trying to upsell something I didn't need. Ultimately we install a system for $850 that mitigated the elevated levels which was confirmed with a follow up test that is included. The installers were excellent. We spent a lot of time with them up from determing the best exhaust location to end up with a quiet system. We can't hear it at all and you can not see it from the street. Their work was top quality, neat and they cleaned up everything. I am very pleased with the results.

They technicians arrived on time. They were pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They explained the work they were going to do and answered any questions we had. They came ready to work, already dressed in their work attire, with the proper tools necessary to tackle the job. They worked steady taking only a lunch break - they even brought their lunch, so they never left the worksite until the job was completed.
They cleaned up when the job was done, leaving nothing behind. The technician explained how the system worked and instructed us on how we were to do the follow-up radon test. Two technicians arrived at 8:50 am, worked until noon. One left to go his next assignment, while the other completed his portion of the job.

was great from start to finish. I was concerned with the looks of the piping going outside the house like many systems are.
Trenton Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was able to run it through the house and out the roof. He even painted the roof vent to color match the other vents. I was also concerned about the noise of the electric motor that moves the air making an irritating noise outside. He was able to put the motor in the attic to eliminate that problem. He also listened to my concerns about getting the radon to as close to zero or zero as possible.
Trenton Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
stated he could run two lines into basement floor exhausting out one vent to accomplish that. After making the first hole he found dry sand and decided one hole would be sufficient air movement. After installing and a 48 hour test we found he was right. We had zero or very very close to zero for readings. I would certainly use him again.

Absolutely horrible to work with!! The "radon girl", as she calls herself, texts the seller that she needs home access. The problem is she wants it done on her own time and is completely unwilling to work out a reasonable schedule. Multiple times were offered at my, the seller's, availability and NONE of the times ever work for her. She wants unlimited free access to the home. NO, I will not leave a key under the doormat for some stranger to enter my home!! After finally scheduling a time she cancels 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Her excuses are that she needs to be across town...perhaps she needs to learn time management skills and drive times in KC metro. It's not hard to figure out how long it takes to drive somewhere and complete the job as KC is an easy town to maneuver. This was just to drop off the Radon test. Picking up the test was even worse. She asks if you're free that afternoon so you give her a time in the afternoon and replies that it won't work for her since I didn't text back with an immediate time. I do have to work and run errands too and can't reply at your

and call. After I gave her multiple times to pick it up and she didn't like the times, so she calls the buyers whining that we won't let her into the house. We will are willing to let her pick up the unit but our lives don't revolve around "Radon Girl's" schedule. She needs to remember that she is running a business and needs to be willing to work with the clients and not shoot down every availability given. BUYERS, I do NOT recommend this person as she has made the seller very upset when selling a house is already stressful enough.
