Business Description: Avian Ventures helps owners develop a positive relationship with their birds in a way that is fun and safe for everyone. We use positive reinforcement to build trust, and turn training time into something that both bird and human will look forward to. We specialize in addressing problem behaviors such as screaming, biting, aggression, or fear behaviors. Do you have an emergency preparedness plan for your bird during hurricane season? We can help you create your plan, and teach your bird some fundamental behaviors that can keep your bird safe during a disaster. Planning a trip to the vet? We can teach your bird a few behaviors that will help make a vet trip much less stressful. This can be especially important if your feathered friend gets sick. We will even coordinate our plan with your vet! We have 10 years of experience in professional animal training, and can apply that knowledge to guide you in your endeavors with your bird. We customize our training plans and approach-because you and your bird are unique! In Home Consults: Our in home consults are the best way to help you achieve your goals with your bird. Before our appointment we will conduct a free phone consult to evaluate your situation and establish a plan to meet your goals. In home consults are $60 for the first hour, $30 for subsequent hours. Animal Training Seminars: Our animal training seminar is a six week, one hour per week course designed to teach pet owners valuable training skills. We will cover basic as well as advanced techniques and concepts. We will also put our skills to the test with fun hands on activities. Bring a friend and sign up together!
