Business Description: Art Notions was formed by Mingo Garcia, a master artist driven by his passion for creating art for others. During his 23 years of experience as an artist, Mingo has developed an innovative style from cartoons to realism. His use of vibrant colors, 3-D effects, tromp l'oeil and strong composition make his work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes. Mingo is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern techniques, and he loves to express his vision through art, enabling him to readily communicate the vision of his clientele. Art Notions is a sole proprietor business, and currently uses no subcontractors. Should the scale of the client's commissioned work require additional artists or assistants, Art Notions is associated with many professionals of the highest caliber that can be hired on an as-needed basis. Art Notions contracts with the client to ensure all design work is approved before work begins and guarantees the client's satisfaction. Art Notions also warrantees its work against material defects for the length of the warranty of the individual paints and supplies utilized in the commissioned work. An initial consultation to discuss the scope of the commissioned work is complimentary. Design work is charged at a rate of $75.00 per hour, with a minimum time of one-half hour. Depending upon the complexity of the commissioned work, a firm price quote outlining the labor and material costs will be provided to the client within two to seven days of the approved design work. Angie's List members receive a 15% discount off the cost related to the labor portion of the commissioned work pricing.
