Business Description: Pro Pressure Clean and Seal offers Interlocking Brick Paver, Travertine and Natural Stone cleaning and sealing. Using job specific cleaners, we pressure wash with hot water to clean and remove dirt and any stains, re-sand paver joints. Then we seal with a Premium water based urethane paver sealer (Seal N Lock) so your paver pool deck, driveway or patio can weather the Florida sun and the harsh elements, and will remain beautiful for years to come. Our paver sealer is low VOC and certified Green meaning safe for you and the environment. No harsh chemicals or solvents We can also strip old acrylic sealers from pavers that have turned white from trapped moisture called "white blush." White blush is a problem turning up more and more from inferior applications by untrained sealing companies and paver installers who send their lowest paid employee to 'seal' their new installation. Don't hire until you have checked references and experience level. Pinellas County does require a license to seal pavers and we are licensed and fully insured, including workers comp. Check with PCCLB.org to verify licenses and verify insurance coverage to ensure you are protected. Pinellas county requires a contractors license to seal pavers and most county's in this region do also but accept other county's licensees. Make sure you check with your county to ensure your sealing company is appropriately licensed. Don't just take their word for it as many companies will avoid the issue or just do not know or care. Hire a Licensed contractor for your protection. You can see our work at www.propaverseal.com ASK THE SEAL Seal of Approval 2011 // Mention Angies List and receive $50 off your service over $500.

Deck Construction Articles

Tips to choose the right material for your deck

"Now that is outdoor living right there," says Michael Koch. (Photo courtesy of Hometown Decking and Decorative Concrete)

Which type of material is best to build your deck? You have many choices depending on your budget, your taste, your style and the terrain. One Austin-area builder gives you four tips for making the right decision.

How much does it cost to build a deck?

Getting permits, picking the right contractor and selecting the best deck material for your needs are all important choices to make when building a new deck. (Photo courtesy of Red Deer Construction/DECKo)

Adding a new deck to your home can increase its curb appeal, function, and resale value. With a host of deck types, materials and construction methods available, what can you expect to pay for a typical job?

Should I paint or stain my deck?

Angie's List member Larry J. of Yakima, Wash., submitted this photo of what he called an "excellent" deck-staining experience. "They successfully navigated weather complications and then made the deck staining process look easy while doing a beautiful, professional job."

Dear Angie: Our deck has been previously stained, but it has worn off. The deck is not covered, so I want something durable. Would I be better off staining it again or painting it?
