Business Description: My name is Alycia Massey. I am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida. I received my Masters of Oriental Medicine degree at the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota Florida.  My training includes over 2000 hours in didactic courses and 900 hours of clinical experience. I am also certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy which is also known as bio-puncture. I am a proud provider for the Healing Heroes Network. I specialize in symptoms that cannot be explained or helped by conventional medicine, conditions labeled "pychosomatic," and in emotional issues from grief and anxiety to hormonal imbalance testing and re-balance using natural alternatives to traditional hormone replacement therapy. I also treat a wide variety of feminine issues including painful periods, PMS, loss of period, or prolonged bleeding, and all stages of menopausal symptoms including hot flashes, loss of libido, vaginal dryness, and pain. The goal of acupuncture and other complementary alternative medicines is to direct the body's own innate healing abilities so that the patient experiences a more pleasant state of health. The holistic approach of Oriental medicine allows me to find the root of the problem that manifests as pain, headaches, menstrual disorders, and any other host of issues that often do not find relief in other branches of medicine. Once the root of the disharmony is addressed, the manifestation, the symptoms, diminish then vanish. One of the many benefits of acupuncture, and some other complementary medicines, is its ability to be customized without the side effects of other treatments. In addition to acupuncture, I use acupoint injection therapy, electro stimulation, massage, modern homeopathy, pharmaceutical grade supplements, herbal formulas, diet, and the Emotional Freedom Technique. I educate and provide choices to my patients so that they feel empowered and responsible for their health. I instruct patients on how to promote and maintain a healthy lifestyle by a wide variety of natural and complimentary methods that will best suit their lifestyle and willingness to change. I specialize in difficult and complex cases that conventional medicine cannot seem to help, feminine issues, or when emotions may play a factor.           At All Symptoms Acupuncture, I provide you with the attention and empathetic caring that we all deserve when visiting a health care provider.  Unfortunately, some patients do not feel the genuine care they expect when visiting a doctor.  I strive to fill this gap in health care for my patients. The body and mind are fused to create the total person so that when one half experiences symptoms the other half is also affected.
