"They handled the settlement for the sale of our home. We had pre-signed the paperwork and didn't attend. The Buyers messed up their loan so closing was delayed" until late on a Friday. The Buyer moved into the house and NOBODY bothered to tell us that we wouldn't get our money until the following Monday. Our money sat in their account all weekend, I emailed and called but no one responded. Criminal.

"What a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS TITLE COMPANY. My husband and I were nice enough to let the seller choose the title company. Normally, it is the buyer's" choice. From day one, the process was a nightmare. Our escrow officer,
would not communicate with our real estate agent to let him know the status of the closing. He was so frustrated with her. She had a terrible attitude toward my husband and myself as well. When the documents were finally recorded, two of them were non-compliance. We were charged an additional $50.00. I asked
to refund us the $50.00 since
prepared the documents and they should have known what the county requires. She flat out refused to refund the $50.00. In addition, they tacked on so many miscellaneous fees. This is the fifth house we have bought and the first time we used
. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a title company. Please do not use

I bought my last house and also sold it FSBO.  For me, both ends of the process were simple and relatively hassle free.

I advertised in the paper once a week and had an open house every Sunday for about three weeks.  I also had an FSBO sign in the front yard that I would put balloons on (for attention) when I had the open house.  It sold quickly.

The cost of an attorney to go over the paperwork was MUCH less than the price of a relator.  I bought one of those ready-made packages from the nearest office store, read it over and made a few changes to it.  Then I had the attorney look it over.  I think it saved some money having the attorney just look over the document and make changes rather than having him create the entire thing.

When I decide to move out of my current house, I will definitely go FSBO again.

Yes! Movie tickets, 2 hours at the spa, 10 rides at your local "iFly", etc. Bottom line: You know your clients. Find out what they do to reward/pamper themselves and give them that!

Hope this helps!

Title Company reviews in Royal Palm Beach

DO NOT use
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked

Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
is very unprofessional. He has already hung up on me multiple times. His company would not issue me a clean title for my home, but he has yet to provide specifics as to why. Every time we have contacted him, he complains "Not THIS house again!" Meanwhile, we have 2 mortgages, are in deep in lawyer fees, and he still will not tell us the specifics of what he found that is wrong with the property.

Not even our lawyer or another title company can find any errors. His advice was:

Just get another company to title you. It's a pretty good change that they won't find the issue that we found.

I still do not understand, 5 months later, what the actual issue is and how to remedy the situation. If you are looking for a company with kind, reasonable, patient and empathetic customer service, please look elsewhere and save yourself the heartache.

I am a real estate agent who goes to many, many title companies every year.
The services were so mediocre. The place was crowded. The receptionist offered water but most other companies, there is a self-serve area. The closing officer RUSHED through EVERY piece of paper. They did not want to explain the paragraphs that the buyer was signing, even though she kept stopping and asking. it was end of month, but really? We showed up on time and deserve the effort. They gave a yellow manila envelope with the final documents. They did not print out a copy of the final documents, instead emailed it to the buyer (saving paper, I'm sure, since every other time during the transaction, the buyer had to print out and sign by hand-- nobody cared about paper then). It was such an embarassment to do the closing there.

Stollard and his staff walked me through the steps I need to take, answered all of my questions in a timely manner, ironed out all of the snags, and had all of the piles of paperwork in order & ready to go when it was time for the final signing. I recommend this company highly and would definitely use them again. Closing on a house is never an easy process, but
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
made my experience as pain free as it possibly could be.

Talon was nearly double the title fees of what we paid a few months ago on my grandfathers home which was more expensive. Title services were moved from one office (which was close to us) to another because paperwork was not ready. We then had to wait because the title work was not ready even when we got there. They were very nice, but that doesn't matter when money and time are wasted.
Because the paperwork wasnt ready for the buyer, we signed everything and they said they would send all paperwork over when complete, this was one done so I had to followup. Again they were apologetic, but I would have been much better served somewhere else.
Keep in mind, realtors recommend this place, (I've had two separate realtors recommend Talon) and there has to be some kind of compensation involved because again its much more expensive that other places and not better service either.

has always been responsive and provides the required documentation for FSBO sales. While I haven't yet used them for Title Services as buyers of my prior homes requested different title companies, for future FSBO sales including a home I currently have on the
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
, I would like to use them for Title Services and Escrow. I've attended their Seller workshop in the past and found it to be very informative.

After several customer service issues we left their title company and were billed the full amount we were quoted for work they didn't deliver and they told us they had not finished yet.
We engaged East Tx Title Company on 3/13/15 to provide title insurance on a property we were purchasing. We wanted to close the deal before taxes went up on the property on April 1. Both parties turned in initial signed paperwork by 3/24. We knew that was an agressive timeline but as business owners of several properties, we have done this many times before.
We quickly learned the title was messy and missed the April deadline, but began to notice calls were not returned to us. We would ask for a status update or if anything was needed but those messages were ignored. We were told that because we were not the seller, there were privacy concerns, but we were simply asking for status updates and next steps. We had been asked by the seller for help with these documents and the title company was informed of this relationship on several occasions.
The point of contact for the seller was clearly identified as the executor for an estate, yet calls were not returned to her. At one point, our agent told the seller she had called multiple people from the seller's family to gather information, but not one of them had a message or missed phone call from our agent's office. Also, the agent promised the seller she would send a packet of paperwork to her the following morning. At close of business the next day, the packet was still unmailed, without apology or explanation. We later learned the agent was busy working on a more profitable account. (so she didn't have time to put an envelope in the outbox, and her office assistant was the nicest and most helpful person we met during this process)
We then contacted Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
, co owner, who directed us to the office manager. We began working with the manager to complete the required documentation, but noticed once again our calls were not returned. The manager began asking us if we received emails from her. When we said, "No", she told us some information verbally, rather than resend the missing emails. We do not believe the emails were actually sent. In particular, we received a complete list of the requirements to close/title commitment on April 9. It had many specific items to be resolved, but did not indicate a survey would be required. On April 13, The manager emailed us to see if we had received her email "about the survey". We emailed & called for multiple days seeking clarification before she finally answered & said a survey would now be necessary. A survey is not always a requirement for the purchase of raw land.
I again spoke to Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
expressing frustration about unanswered phone calls and she told me if she reviewed my case in the first place she would have never taken it on and she really didn't have time to complete it. She also said little progress had been made. At this point, we wanted to move our business but asked for a summary of what would be needed to wrap this up with
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
. At this time, the office manager also began asking other random people in the office to return our calls.
On Thursday 3/23, we were told by the office manager and Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
that the affidavit of heirship was not complete and that all work would be suspended until we made a final decision of whether to continue with
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
on the following morning. Early 3/24/15, we terminated business, but under the direct wishes of the Seller, we reversed that decision around 11am. Within an hour, we received an email from Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
that we would have to "come to an agreement about the scope of the work for us to continue" She said she was hesitant to continue without discussing things with the office staff. At this point, the seller was also told we needed to pay in full before any more work was done, and so the seller agreed with us to change
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
We finally ended our dealings with East Tx Title by noon, 4/24. At the same time, unknown to us, an employee was directed by her supervisor to fax a copy of the affidavit to a funeral home previously used by the seller to receive & send paperwork. The seller was never contacted about this. The company told us they stopped working effective Thurday night and no progress was made because even though we reversed our decision, we never had a scoping discussion with Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
. This action was later used to justify billing us in full for a document we never received & which we were told was incomplete as of the final time we left this company. When we received the bill, we tried again to call multiple times and no calls were returned. My husband called twice during this time and got through immediately on both occasions, even though my calls had been ignored earlier. We think this is because they didn't recognize his phone number.
However, we feel most of the people we worked with at
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
Company are dishonest and unprofessional and those attitudes seem to be pervasive up through Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
. It seems to be a law firm with the facade of a title company. It seems to be a title company in name that is used to funnel business to Ms
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
' Law Firm. We feel they intentionally told us enough information so we would decide to leave their company, and that the timing of the completion of the document on their side coincided with that discussion to terminate our business agreement. We feel they told their employee to fax said document to a funeral home, which seems to violate client privacy between
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
and the seller because they never contacted the seller to notify her of the fax at the funeral home or ask for her consent to do so; but later cited the delivery of that document as substantiation for our bill. Had they contacted the seller and let us know the document was complete, we would have closed with
Royal Palm Beach Title Companies Provider Name Locked
company, but they made it clear they did not want our business. We feel they intentionally stalled the progress on our title work in favor of higher paying accounts.
Because the work has been completed, we will both pay for and use the legal documents in question. However, I hope to never need their assistance again, and I highly recommend to any serious investor or home buyer that they look elsewhere. Their prices seem fair, but the ultimate cost seems to be personal pain and time
We did meet a few nice and professional people who worked with the company during this process, but I feel sorry for them.

were very professional in handling the closing of my new home. They basically hand held me through the entire process. We were able to close on time even though there were several obstacles created by the seller and their attorney.
