My husband also had to help raise the tents as some of the workers were not strong enough.
LIGHTING: Ordered 5-48 foot string lights to go around the perimeter of tent. They were installed incorrectly so they had to get another string of lights (without informing me and at my cost).
TENT WALLS: Owner (who was there for most of the set up) tried to talk me out of putting up the 6 side walls(which would have saved him hours of work). Owner: " You are so lucky, there is 0%
Me: "Well if it will save me some of the cost I guess we can skip the walls."
Owner: "Oh no! You reserved them so you have to pay for them.
Me: "Then put them up."
DANCE FLOOR: We ordered and paid for an 18X18 foot floor and received an 18X15 foot floor, a difference of 98.00. They never informed me and I believe they hoped I would not notice. It took almost 3 weeks of unreturned phone calls to finally get reimbursed and then they ducted a string of lights from what they owed us, (see above). Dance floor was very old and kept coming apart. I caught my shoe a number of times on metal pieces which kept sticking up. The bride had to kick edges back together several times.
GUTTERS: Without informing me or my husband, owner decided not to install the 2 gutters we paid for. He admitted this to my husband but still has not reimbursed us. Once again he is not returning our phone calls.
TABLES: Very old and splintered. Of course they were covered so they looked fine.
THINGS WE WERE HAPPY WITH: Chairs were clean and nice looking, food service items were fine, linens were clean and pressed.
My biggest complaint with this company was their rudeness and lack of professionalism. They could have resolved all of this by returning our phone calls, apologizing and refunding what was owed us. Instead they chose not to return our phone calls and they still owe us for items we did not receive.
I scored all A's with the exception of price, as the tent did cost a bit more than I would have expected.
All in an extremely positive experience and I would recommend Broadway to anyone who needs party supply rentals. Unrelated, I got the tent to provide shade on a hot
I would recommend this venue for any one having a party formal or not. She made the entire reservation, set up and break down so non-stressful! It was $200.00 to rent with a $150.00 deposit fully refundable after your clean up.
I am so glad we happened to find out about this clubhouse. If you are truly looking to have a great party at a great location with no stress or fears of penalties for late break down etc., then
Halloween party. The Mushroom heater would not ignite, party was very
cold. Admittedly our driveway is long and difficult, but the delivering
staff refused to move the tables, etc. up stairs. We would have been
very happy to pay an additional amount had we been given the information
beforehand. Re the heater, management said it worked perfectly in
their warehouse and there was nothing they could do about it.
Our party was scheduled from 2pm until 5pm, with family, friends and neighbors coming and going before and after.
They even placed two extremely large tarps between both inflatables so that the kids would not get real muddy and to protect the grass as much as possible.
The wet inflatables were a huge hit and the highlight of the party. The inflatables were in great condition and the combo unit was even brand new.
The crew came to get the inflatables the next day around 10am. They were quick, professional and polite. Glad to say the inflatables didn't tear up our yard at all.
We were even told that since we spend more than $500 we'd get $100 off our next rental (can't beat that).
