Deck Building reviews in Pembroke Pines

I contacted
Pembroke Pines Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
Service by phone and the receptionist was rude and not very professional. When I asked about their ability to provide the services needed I was told that a technician would call me back and that she was just the receptionist. I asked when they would contact me and she said that they will call me but would not give any indication of when or what day. I asked if she was just an answering service and she stated no, that she worked for the company. I was concerned that if I can't get through to a person that can do more than just answer a phone and that I would have to have to be response to their timeframe, what kind of service would they actually provide and if I had problems how responsive would they be.

When I again asked her when I would receive a call back, as a customer I would expect to know approximately when I would hear back from them, she thanked me for calling and abruptly hung up – just plain rude.

We had to threaten this company and say we were going to contact our lawyer. They estimated that this job would take them two weeks. Well, there we were six weeks later and it was not done. They lied to us about the amount of time the whole job would cost. That made me mad and I would not use them again because they just lacked sincerity and integrity. I want a company who will be honest with me and not phony. I will say they finally did get the job done right and the quality is there with this company.

The estimator was friendly and available to answer questions. Roofers were on time and worked well. If you were not aware of areas of previous damage, you would be unable to detect where the repairs have been made.

It just seemed unreal to be able to use my patio again in such a short time. My patio looks wonderful and is like new again. I could not believe that all of that damage could be repaired for such a reasonable price.

and his team did a great job. The worked fast, where very thorough and detailed oriented. I hired them because they were the only company that took time to really understand the job and delivered a quote with a drawing to show me exactly what I was getting. I am very happy with the end result and will recommend them to anyone.

The owner was fast to respond to my call for a quote and immediately set a time that worked for us since my husband and I both work late to come and look at the porch. He had pictures/samples and we were able to choose from those. The work was completed the next week. Very happy to have a porch that won't fill up with water as it did before since the ground around it was higher than the existing concrete pad.

The first problem was that the permit for this job took 3 months to get and the contractor kept blaming the city while I continued to log on to the city website and track how many denials there were and what corrections needed to be made to the specs. The patio contractor showed up and did the job first after signing the contract and he spilled little drops of paint on the patio and when we asked him to fix it he said that was normal. After a week we spilled something on the patio and cleaned it with bleach and it stripped all the paint off that section and to this date they have not come back and fixed it.
The problem with this company isn't really with the contractors they use, it is with

who failed to communicate with the customer as to the progress and when our salesman had a health problem that sidelined him for several months, nobody had contacted me to let me know of the problem and when I finally called the owner, he said that there were other bigger concrete jobs that had to be done before mine, but meanwhile my permit seemed to stay in

with no response on the denials for quite some time. I would never recommend them because as a customer, I like to be informed about what is going on, when things are going to happen and then follow up with the company as the job is being done to ensure that we are satisfied. I had to deal more with the contractors that this company uses more than I did with

. I sometimes wondered, which company was I paying?

Overall we had a great experience and very happy with the results... The owner is a man of his word and insists that if anything comes up, let him know and he'll take care of it.

I really can't say enough about

and his company

& Repair. We moved to a house on a lake here about 2.5 years ago. Our pool area had had a screen but it was apparently lost in the hurricane of 2005. Every morning I woke up to duck poop by the pool, so I wanted a screen enclosure pretty bad....More /> I had three estimates.

's was very close to being the lowest, but I was so impressed with his expertise and overall manner I gladly paid a little more to have him do the job. When we were discussing the job I told him how much my wife and I enjoyed looking out at the lake and the sunset. He was the only contractor that suggested the Clear-

screen, which I appreciated and we chose that. I does make a difference. He also did some real out of the box thinking with the design. He told us most people chose to have the horizontal support bar about 3 feet off the ground. Driving around you can see that just about every pool enclosure has this feature.

told us that that bar was required but nothing said it had to be 3 feet from the ground - it could just as well be 3 feet or so from the top. This would allow a more unobstructed view. I wasn't sure but I liked the idea. What makes

so special is that he came back with a panel and turned it both ways at just about every viewing angle and really let me see how it would look both ways. Needless to say we chose to have the bar near the top and have the most wonderful views now without that obstruction I notice on most pools. Way beyond the call of duty for customer service (in my book)
Once the paperwork was signed,

wasted no time. The permit and design moved quickly. When the construction day arrived, he came when he said he would and worked tirelessly with a helper for almost 3 days. The screen is beautiful, easily passed the city inspection, and we feel like we have doubled the square footage of our home with this beautiful room outdoors. No more mosquitos or duck droppings.
The great service continues. I had a door damaged when a strong wind blew it open and almost off its hinges. It had failed to close because an elephant ear leaf kept it from closing.

came right out and repaired the hinges and hydraulic piece at a very nominal service call charge. I have also had rodents chew threw the screen twice and he has come out quickly and repaired that, too. I have his number still on my cell phone and he always picks up on the 2nd or 3rd ring.
To sum up - Our enclosure is wonderful.

was extemely competent, fair, and really just a delightful person. You will not be disappointed with his work in any way. I would recommend him heartily to everyone

was exceptionally accommodating and willing to please. He was concerned that I was less than satisfied with the design. He made every effort to make me happy with the results; including offering to change it. However, I choose to keep it as is because the concrete on the driveway was already cut. The guy who did the screen door was awesome. He took an old door, cut it down in size, re-screened it and re-installed it. It looks terrific. He even offered to take the screening off until I had time to paint and he would come back to reinstall. :) If you are going to use this company, make sure that you are in total agreement (in writing) of what you want done and what you expect.
