did a wonderful job helping us sell our home in Roslindale,

was incredibly easy to work with, professional, resourceful - I suppose my only regret is that I can't have her here in Colorado to help us next time we need to purchase real estate! "

was the absolute best! He guided us through each and every step of the home buying process and really made it an enjoyable experience for the both of us. He exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Not only was he organized, well informed, and a valuable tool to have for EVERYTHING home related, but he did not stop working ...more and caring about us even after we moved in. He recommended what service providers to use AND set them up for us. He truly wants his clients to be happy, and we never once felt pressured into anything!
is the best of the best. We can't imagine buying or selling a house without him, and would recommend his services to anyone looking to buy or sell! "
"The sale of the house went very well. We needed to get a certain amount to break even and not owe the bank any funds due to being upside down on the mortgage.
suggested that we spend some money on painting in order to possibly turn a profit. We spent 2K to paint and actually walked away with some extra funds. I then recommended ...more him to my in laws and they were equally thrilled. "
"RENTER BEWARE. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGER. I wish I didn't have to write this review. I've NEVER felt more bamboozled in my LIFE. We lived in a property that
) property manages for 5 years. We were excellent tenants, always understanding of his delays and most of the time we didn't ...more even bother him with repairs and did them ourselves. And then we moved out. We did our due diligence, got the house cleaned and we did a walk through with him. We AGREED on the things that needed to be fixed with our deposit - about $300 worth of charges. Fast forward to 18 days later - he hadn't been responding to our inquiries about the deposit. It wasn't until I warned him of the 21 days he has per California law to return our deposit, that we finally hopped into action, fabricating invoices, straight up LYING about repairs and bloating charges to the tune of $1500. After his worker dropped off the check, all of a sudden he won't answer us, return calls or text messages we've left him - to ask him to explain these charges that are straight up WRONG. We trusted him to be fair as he'd promised, and now we can't even reach him. I guess our next step is small claims since he won't even talk to us to explain. I have no other choice but to warn others and hope no one else gets burned by this crook. Please, please, please heed my advice. "
came to our house very well prepared and provided great advice.
helped us through every part of the home selling process from start to finish and even beyond, calling after closing to check on things when other realtors might move on. ...more We sold our home within a couple of weeks and received asking price. What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend
to anyone selling their home. His service is outstanding and I
that you won't find a better realtor in the area. Thank you
for all your fantastic help. It is very much appreciated! "
"When I decided to sell my home, I asked some of the people I work with who they would recommend, and
came very highly recommended. I called and she was able to come over on my schedule, and together we discussed what my plans were. She worked up a
analysis and priced my home for more than I believed ...more I'd be able to get for it. We went through the house, room by room, and she made suggestions about what I could do to stage the home so it would be more appealing. I was able to do all the things on her to-do list, and then signed the contract. Beautiful photos were taken, and the house was put on the multiple listing site.
I had calls for showings within an hour of the house being listed, and within two days, had an offer. There was another person interested, so she was able to contact the appropriate agents, and nail down the offer, and by the third day, the house was sold. I was in shock!! I thought it would take several months.
The closing went very smoothly, so no issues there either.
All in all, I would say every detail of the sale was handled professionally, promptly, and with my complete satisfaction. "
was nothing but disappointment, stress, and hard work on my part as not even
one step along the way went as it should have due to poor work by Hometown
Realty's team. I have never been so let down by Yelp so I figured I NEEDED to
write about my experience ...more so nobody else makes the same EXPENSIVE mistake I did

I have too many bad experiences to write about
so here is an abbreviated version (feel
free to ask about any details and I will be happy to share, I also have texts
and emails to backup almost all statements).
My house was beautiful, professionally decorated, even
featured on a popular interior design website. It sold itself, and it did so
quickly, about 2 weeks. This did not have ANYTHING to do with
and at one point their misrepresentation of myself and my feelings about the
date of the close of escrow to the buyer almost put the sale in jeopardy. The
buyer told me this and was just someone who saw the listing online, had their
agent make an appointment, loved it and made an offer. Thankfully, the buyer,
being so fed up with
as well, contacted me directly and I was
able to handle the correspondence with them to clear up all issues and make
sure no other misrepresentations were made.
for a number of reasons. The first
being the very good Yelp reviews, second was their marketing materials, third
was their expertise in San Elijo Hills, and lastly the representation that they
get you a better price then any other agency.
1. I was told I would have glossy color flyers of my home
sent out. That sounds great except they did not even have these sent out until
TWO WEEKS AFTER my house went on the

offer. What kind of timing is that? Any good business-minded person would know
those should be in people's mailboxes the day that house hits the
very aware I was not in a rush and if they would have let me know it
would take a week or two to get the materials I would have been happy to wait
to list the house when they actually had their marketing materials ready.
's speech about how he can get a higher price
per square foot than any other agent, he tells me what price he thinks he
should list my house at. Which, even though it showed better than all of them
and had better location (as
stated himself), was BELOW the average price
per square foot of the current sales. Where is the follow through and result to
go with that big song and dance you just performed? I ended up deciding to list
higher than he suggested, and I did sell it for higher. I feel
wanted the house sold as quickly and easily as possible so their team could do
the least amount of work, collect that big check, and move on to the next one.
3. I was told they don't usually do videos of condos but as
mine was so beautiful
had gotten an exception to do one for mine. They
NEVER did a video as promised.
4. Typos all over my listings and documents that needed to
be signed that I had to point out many times to have corrected. Very
unprofessional, no attention to detail.
5. They told me my open house would be Sun. 1-4. When I
confirmed what time I needed to be out by a few days prior to the open house
they said it was Sat. 12-3, to be out at 11:45. It created a huge issue as I
had a friend in town and had already booked a hotel for Sat and now had to
arrange for Fri as well.
started the open house at 11. Without any flyers
or materials to hand out and an hour before they told me. Good thing I wasn't
in the shower. No feedback on open house given until I texted to ask the next
6. They misrepresented what was included in the home and I
had to go through days of back and forth with the buyer and
things up. Which
then took credit for as something he had done so well
when the issue was caused by him in the first place.
7. I received an email saying myself and my home would be
amazing as the first in a new series of video testimonials for Hometown. I responded saying I was sorry but I was not
happy with Hometown and would not feel comfortable doing that. I then received
a call from the owner,
. I saw that as a good sign. After waiting
weeks for a call back from her after a couple calls and emails she would not
lower the commission even though they had not provided anything they said they
would and she agreed many of the things I listed were serious issues. I was
offered $500 and a house cleaning which is a slap in the face or %&!$ you
when paying $26,400 commission. No care for their customer, taking
responsibility, or righting their wrongs. Just want your $$$$$$. "

sold our home in Port
, and went above and beyond to do so. She brought in many home-seekers, provided excellent advice re/ ...more showing the home, and ran interference with issues that arose, including with an unexpected unclosed town permit, giving positive direction and encouragement. She provided excellent referrals for lawyers, exterminators and movers. She did all of her hard work with patience, effervescence and a smile! She helped us to find a coop within our means, and again ran interference when the closing date appeared to be stalling so that we could leave the sold house as scheduled. She was also there with emotional support as needed, pushing me on when my frustrations mounted! Her office staff proved friendly and helpful. Having attended open houses arranged by other brokers, including several who never showed up for advertised open houses, I know there is a vast difference among brokers, and totally recommend calling upon
