"Staff is rude, and if you call and ask questions they hang up on you. They transfer you from one person to the other, and you can never get the answers you need." We have been waiting over 4 days to get an order straightened out, and it still has yet to happen. It has just been a very unprofessional and very frustrating experience every time we deal with this clinic.

"I have been seeing the doctor for about 1 year and my husband has been seeing him for about 3 years. He is very knowledgeable and caring. My husband visited for" sleep apnea and the doctor has helped significantly with that. The doctor heard something in my husband’s chest and was able to save his life. He is a very well respected doctor in the area and is a superb doctor. I feel very lucky to have him as a doctor. The few nurses I have seen are very nice and scheduling is easy. I do not have to wait long to be seen.

As a sleep doctor, she is competent. Her staff is disorganized and sometimes unhelpful or uninformed. When she tried to explain the benefits of the special necklace she wore, and its many healing properties, she lost me. Her diet advice, not asked for, was not good, according to my doctor. All in all, just too weird for me.

He is a good doctor. I've never had any problems with him. He talks about what is going on and he is really friendly. He came to know what is going on. We spent the last 5 or 6 years with each other until he got the nurse practitioner. He got me stable so I really can't complain about anything. He did a good job.

’t get a good night’s sleep. She can emphatise with her patients. She has a wonderful sense of humor, it’s fun to see her. She is just wonderful.

The people at her office are really nice.

The technician was very nice. They did not forward the report to the VA, it just sat on the desk for two weeks and I had to go in personally and had an argument with the people because they said they wouldn't release the study to me but finally a young lady gave me a copy. The office staff were terrible.

Center is understaffed overall: from reception (phone calls not answered or returned) to the few people who can read/interpret sleep studies—meaning it takes months to get on therapy. I ended up having to pay for two sleep studies (approximately $2800 each) because I was congested during first one: after 6 weeks waiting for a result, I got nothing except back in the long queue to get another study scheduled.
Eventually I got a therapy Rx based on a tiny time-slice of my sleep study during which here was no REM sleep! Crazy, right?
Billing is very confusing:

bill for some services (sleep studies, "tests" and miscellaneous stuff) and individual doctors who are doing this in addition to their own practices, bill using their practice's name. Copays (who gets them) are anybody's guess. In my case, the only way I knew I owed Mission and another practice was through monitoring my insurance claims. The Sleep Center did not explain this up front.
It's very sad that with this nice facility and well-meaning employees who are currently overwhelmed, Mission can't do a better job of staffing and get a cadre of full-time doctors assigned here who aren't just dropping in from their other practices. Meanwhile, if I were a newly diagnosed patient needing a sleep study, I'd look for a different provider.

My experience was good. She did not feed her computer. Normally, these doctors are typing away in their computer instead of looking at you. She just sat there. I do not believe I have it, but we were ruling it out. She was wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable. There was eye-to-eye contact.

Dr. Krainson is a very knowledgeable physician, and his manner when he finally did get around to seeing me, was gentle. But neither he nor his staff seem remotely concerned about a patient's time. For a 2:40 PM appointment, I was made to wait until
4:30--110 minutes--until he saw me.
An assistant did spend a couple of minutes around 4:15 to take a few routine vital signs. But he did not even ask me the reason for my visit.
Moreover, neither any staff member nor Dr. Krainson himself offered any explanation or apology for the nearly 2-hour wait. In fact, when I asked around 4:25 whether the doctor was still seeing patients ( given the hour, I really thought that through some mix-up he had gone home), the staff was irritated by my question.
Nearly all doctors' offices over-book, but that does not excuse any of them for doing it. And a 2-hour delay is simply unconscionable.

Waited almost an hour for the Dr Sammadder to see me. He came in and asked why I wasn't using my machine. I told that I was. He replied that it was not what the chip in my machine said. When I repeated that I was using it, he dismissed it. He then told me I needed a new sleep study. I asked why and he replied, I was getting older. He got up and asked me to go with him. I followed in and ended up at the scheduling desk. I had to ask about my new medicine at the scheduling desk! My entire appt with Dr Sammadder was less than five minutes! During previous appts, I felt like he was pushing the latest Rx (he put me on several over the years- one was EXTREMELY expensive). He also took personal calls regularly during appts. I wouldn't have stay with him as long if not for his WONDERFUL nurse practitioner. ( they are now gone)
