"I think some of the teachers are really great! Like said in another review, there is a very high turnover rate! My son started in 150 and it was great. I did have an issue when he moved into 200 where he

cup that we had to bring in for him had not been cleaned properly for sometime and it had black mold growing all in the inside of the lid. I brought this to the attention of the director and it was corrected immediately. My main issues came when he moved into 250. He would come home with scratches all over his neck and face and no one knew what happened to him. Then one day he lost his

. No one knew what happened to it. The teacher did not help look for it at all and I ended up going to the director. He looked for it and I ended up having to leave without it. Anyone whose child has a certain thing that he/she loves knows how difficult this was over the weekend without it. The director came to the conclusion that my son had thrown it away while playing in the trash can. My question was why he was playing in the trashcan. I was given no response. Then a couple of weeks later, my son fell and hit his head. I was notified that it was not a big deal, no ice was needed, and that he was fine. When I picked him up not an hour later, he had a huge blue and purple knot on his forehead! NO ONE saw this!! I could not believe it! He didn't get any ice on it or anything. This was the last straw for me and I pulled him after this. Some of my other concerns about the facility in general, are that it seems to not be very clean. The toys don't seem to be cleaned very thoroughly. Also the food is mainly frozen and not freshly cooked. Just not my cup of tea I guess. I have heard lots of other parents who loved it there but I did not. Hope this helps when you go and tour. Maybe take a closer look at the rooms and how clean they are.

"They do a great job providing a structured environment for our son to learn at an early age. They do so much more than give them a place to play. He comes home everyday having learned something new.

"I love this place. I looked at several different daycares before choosing this one. The teachers are wonderful with my daughter. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter with them while I am work. You can tell the teachers really like what they are doing! :-)

"The whole time I thought it was a great place. I loved it was Christian oriented. They worked well with out budget let us know what was going on with the kids. But my oldest would always be so upset going to the center. I figured it was only because of separation issues. Now as I have found a different daycare he is excited to go learn and play. I am just so upset I did not see the signs. I just thought they was getting the care they deserved. We ended daycare only because we could no longer afford it at the time, around that same time I noticed my son had a

on his bottom. The moment he had a

by his bottom and I asked him what happened and he said "Ms

" he

out NO. I ask him why and he tells me how she is mean and hurt him. I will never know if something happened to him or not. If he is just upset from time-outs or if maybe something was really done. I mean we all put him in time-out. He has time outs at his new day care and he loves them. If you are wondering why I did not just approach her, what good would that do? I wanted to hear from other parents what they may have thought. I can see parents being so busy that even if a child said a caregiver was mean they would maybe assume like I did at 1st they was just upset about a time-out or something. I have searched and SEARCHED for reviews about this daycare. Not even ONE site has a list that they exist. They are located in southfield,mi and attached to a Church. Dr.

Slater is the director of the daycare and to me seems to be an amazing woman. It says it is a 24-hour daycare, I am not sure if that is true. They have a website, it seems the pictures on there are not authentic. PLEASE ADD your geniuine REVIEW if you also took you child to this location! Please let other parents know if you child ever said he or she was being hurt. I would like to know if it has happened to anyone else. The center overall would have been great, I am not saying that it could not be a great center.Maybe my 2 and half year old son really just did not like the lady?? I can not say guaranteed my son was hurt here.He is young. I mean really though him making it up over and over? I don't know... I cant see that being the case. Just be careful if you have decided to choose this as your daycare.

"We have just recently started taking our young children here but they
have gone above and beyond when it comes to communicating and
interacting with our babies. Ms.
Palm Harbor Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
keeps us updated and even sends
text through-out the day letting us know how our children are doing. My son would fuss and fight from the start when going to his last daycare which was a suppose to be one of those top-notch centers. Which was much more expensive. He loves this place so far. We can also contact them at anytime. They are not a huge center, but they have been taking care of kids for years, teach the preschoolers sign and Spanish. Feed the children home-cooked meals and even have the tumbler bus come twice a month to do gymnastics with the older kids. So far I love it. I will update a review when we are here longer.

"They were horrible. During the snow storm, they decided to open the center late after being closed for two days. Neither

husband or I were notified of the late opening. None of the local school systems were delayed!

"My daughter has been at

since she was 12 weeks old and has never had a bad drop-off. The administration and teaching staff are excellent and the facility is impeccably maintained. It is expensive, but still a great value.

"We really like
Palm Harbor Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
- Edgewater. The Director,
Palm Harbor Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
, and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Their teachers seem to have prior experience with the age group they are caring for. Our child started there at 4 months old and is now almost 2 years old. She is very advanced for her age and I can't help but give some credit to her daycare teachers. The rooms are set up very nicely. Both infant rooms (0-6 months and 6-12 months) allow for separate, but still visible, napping areas and a good play area. The teachers are very interactive and attentive to the kids. In the 1 year old room, our child comes home with artwork about once a week. They play outside nearly every day, sing songs, read books, and other activities.
Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and organized, environment condusive to learning and development
Cons: Expensive (in my opinion), the daily info sheets aren't always filled out completely and they don't highlight what my child did that day like I've seen other daycares do, no discount for sibling care that I'm aware of

"After all these issues continued with no change even after speaking with the office and staff I advised them we would be pulling her from this facility and moving to a new school. I informed them 3 weeks ahead of time and even told the last day. I then go to collect her things and was told we have a 400 dollar bill for holding her space and that a 2 week written notice is required. Needless to say after escalating it up higher the balanced was cleared but the attitude remained. Never again!
