"It went very well. This was the first time I was being seen by Dr.
and I informed him I was very nervous as I had a terrible experience several" years ago when I had received a root canal that required me to return to the initial dentist several times and then resulted in an infection and that was only resolved when I want to another dentist. Dr.
's treatment was a 180 from that experience. The visit was very easy and relaxing. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dr.
is very nice, friendly and knew exactly what to do. I felt no pain throughout the procedure. Dr.
was very professional and well mannered. He wasn't in a rush and took time to explain what he was doing during the procedure. This made me feel confident when being treated and made me feel as if my care was of primary importance during my visit. The staff also assisted in expediting my aftercare. My primary care dentist referred out for root canal procedures but scheduled my to return for a cap. I was surprised that the return for the cap procedure was scheduled out 3 months, even though I was scheduled to see Dr.
in a timely manner, When Dr.
's staff saw the delay, they took action to find me a specialist who could take me in within 2 weeks. Needless to say I will be finding a new primary care dentist. But Dr.
's staff went above and beyond to make sure that I would have someone to take care of me as quickly as possible. I will definitely highly recommend Dr.
to anyone. He specializes in root canals, but his actions prove that he considers the individuals he treats as lifetime patients. After the procedure, I felt a little sore in the jaw for a day but an aspirin took care of that and I have been just fine ever since. Thank you Dr.
and your staff..

"I walked into there office with no appointment and asked the receptionist if she could help me and explained my situation. She could tell I was in severe pain and" had me sit down. She then went back and asked the dentist if he could see me and he said yes. I waited for about 10 minutes during which time the receptionist offered me water and IBprofen. When I went back to see the dentist who was Dr.
I was in severe pain. He came in and had me belly-laughing before he even looked inside my mouth and addressed the problem. He was able to fix the tooth and alleviate the pain immediately and then gave me his cell # and told me to call him the very next day to update him on how I was doing. When I didn't call the next morning he called me and checked in. His overall bed-side manner is amazing and he is the ULTIMATE dentist.

I am familiar witht he ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers across the country, in particluar, the one in Overland Park, KS.  They are a "one stop" implant center.  The doctors there are at the top of their field, and an advantage is that you have all of the specialists that will be working with you in the same place.  That would have to make communication easier between doctors.  They usually offer seminars for patients and I think, offer free consultations, which is always worthwhile.

If you chose to go the other way, some Prosthodontists will place and restore the implants themselves. In other cases, an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist will place the implant and a Prosthodontist or General Dentist restores it.   Fees can vary quite a bit from office to office and with the different options for restorative materials.  Some offer free consultations, for others, they charge a fee that might be applied to any future treatment in some cases.

The first step is to schedule a few consultations with different providers, which it sounds like you've already done.

The most important factors when deciding which practitioner to work with:
:
.1.  You should feel comfortable asking your doctor any questions so that you have a good understanding of the procedure itself, healing time and long-terem outcome, and possible complications.  Write down a list of questions and take them with you to the consultation.

2.  Ask about the experience of the practitioner. How many similiar procedures have they completed?  Have they had any major complications with any cases?  Ask to see photos if possible.

3..Figure out if it works out better for your schedule, to go to a "one stop" provider or to separate providers for the placement and the restoration of the implants.

4. Follow your instincts.  If you feel rushed, didn't get direct answers to your questions, didn't communicate well or had any other negative feelings, this probably isn't the doctor for you.

5. Consider insurance coverage and financing options.  If your dental plan covers implants and it is important to you to use a preferred provider, you will want to check your list.  Many times, insurance does not cover implants, or at least not all of the steps.  You may want to inquire about payment and financing options.

I hope this at least helps you feel a little less confused and a little more directed. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further help.
Sincerely,
Beth L. Gehring,DDS, PC

As a  Dentist, I am sorry to hear about your denture nightmare and I know how frustrating that can be.  I am surprised that your doctor wasn't willing to work with you on some type of solution.  A few options would be either remaking the dentures once more,  or offering to return some of the money and have you return the dentures.   Unfortunately, the doctor has put in a lot of their time and lab expenses, but the patient also  has time and money invested.  You might try sending a letter re-explaining the problems you hand and offering an acceptible and fair solution.  Be sure to keep a copy of it and any correspondence you receive from the Dental Office.  In the event that you don't get anywhere, you have documentation of the problem.

At any point in the process, did they have you sign something saying you were happy with the denture set up?  Some practitioners will document the patient's acceptance at the try-in appointment, before the denture is processed.  At that time, changes in tooth arrangement, size and color can be made with minimal lab expense.

If the letter doesn't get you anywhere, you might try going to the governing body of the dental profession in your area.  I am a dentist in Blue Springs, Missouri, USA.  Here, we have the Missouri Dental Board  (or the Dental Division of the Missouri Department of Professional Registration.)  This is the entity that licenses us to perform our professional duties in our state.  They often have a process to file complaints against a provider if you were unable to resolve the problem yourself.   After your complaint is received, they will contact the doctor to get their side of the story, then try to mediate a solution between the two parties.

As far as a new set of dentures, you might seek out the services of a Prosthodontist (specializes in dentures and removable appliances - extra training and certification beyond general dentistry) or go to a local dental school.  The students are supervised and checked off at each step by professionals.  Most dental schools also treat patients through their faculty practices, and you can often get the services of a specialist at a lower price.

I hope this information is helpful to your situation, and I wish you well.

We like Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
for dental. He's just all around a great doctor. He has a great bedside manner. He's very gentle and I know that's a big issue for my girlfriend. He's really gentle when he does the work and he's not careless. He doesn't

He's really good. He keeps his skills up to date for cutting

procedures. I trust him. He's gentle and he also recommends things to decrease your anxiety. He makes sure that before he does any work, that you're completely numb and won't feel any pain. I typically wait 10 minutes to be seen when I arrive.

Did not go well. Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
takes on too much, rushes and is not thorough enough with no follow up and tries to cover himself with "fast talk". Another dentist (orthodontist) confirms cracked root. He should not have done the root canal without confirming the tooth could be saved. He did not stand behind his work.

I have been using Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
for years. He is an excellent dentist. He found the source of pain in my mouth when 3 other dentists told me it was a sinus condition. I have currently gotten 2 implants and 6 'new' teeth. My next appointment is in a few days. I trust him completely. He does excellent work. He gives painless Novocain injections. All the work that I have needed, including the implants, have been done in his office. The dental implant specialist, Dr

, works from Dr

's office. I have been totally satisfied. I have been in minimum discomfort when root canal, implants, or other procedures have been done. He is excellent and I would absolutely recommend him.

Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
took an x-
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
to review the two teeth that were bothering me because I couldn't tell which one was the one that actually hurt. He quickly noticed that the tooth in front of the one with the root canal had a very deep filling with a pocket of infection underneath it and that this same tooth had a fracture just on the
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
of the filling down into the gum. He did some cold tests on both teeth, but was confident that the tooth with the fracture was the actual one that was infected and not the one with the existing root canal. He gave me two options: 1) I could elect to have the fractured tooth drilled out and a root canal put in, but he could only give me about a 50%
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
that it would be successful and could last from a few months to maybe 2 years; 2) I could elect to have the tooth pulled and either a bridge or fake tooth could be installed. I decided to go with option 2 since I didn't want to have to deal with anymore pain from that tooth. Doctor
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
sent this information to my new dentist (Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
), who then informed me that he would make arrangements for an appointment for me at an oral surgeon. Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
's bedside manner was impeccable. He was very knowledgable in his field, explained things so that I could understand easily, provided me with Nitrous Oxide to help keep me calm during the testing, provided the right amount of numbing medication so that I felt nothing as he was performing tests, and drilling out the deep filling and then cleaning the tooth, he put numbing medication inside the tooth as well as some anti-biotic to help

any bacteria. He put in a temporary filling and I was out of there within an hour. I'm very happy with this dentist and highly recommend him.

The appointment went fine. However, the pain did not go away. The doctor thought that I needed another tooth done since the cold water test didn't kick up any pain on the tooth I wanted done. The doctor kept telling me the story about transfer of pain and he thought the tooth was okay. The tooth I wanted done was done. Two week later I still had the pain. I went back and the doctor started in again about transfer of pain. He was convinced that the tooth we did was the wrong tooth. I was convinced that he did not

the entire root therefore I was still in pain. Needless to say, I had the tooth pulled six months later. The pain went away with the tooth. The root canal did me no good. One other thing I would like to add. When I went back the staff made me feel like I was an idiot because I still felt pain in that tooth. They were nice when I was there for the root canal. That changed when I returned questioning whether the root canal was done properly.

I've been very pleased with the dental care he provides as well as with the hygienists. He has an excellent chairside manner and has provided a root canal for me in the past as well as placed crowns. I've never had problems with scheduling as they're accommodating there.

Before beginning the root canal, Dr.
Palm Beach Gardens Endodontic Provider Name Locked
tested the tooth to cold. I definitely had sensation remaining in the tooth.

He offered me three options 1) to proceed with the root canal
2) to adopt a 'wait and see' approach
3) to send me to an endodontist to have the tooth evaluated - a vitality test
I chose option 3. His staff made the initial contact with the office of Dr.
