a few years ago, I was VERY specific about what I wanted. I shared my concerns with
. She asked a several questions,I answered then she began. I wanted highlights that ...more looked natural. I showed her the exact color I wanted the highlights to be, a golden/Carmel color. She used bleach. Some of the highlights were sort of a golden/ Carmel color and some were bleach blond ( almost white ). I saw one strand that was almost white and voiced my concern but she said it would all blend and look ok. The strands that are almost white make my hair look like it is going grey, not the look I was going for. She did say several times that she could fix anything I didn't like but I haven't been back. On a positive note my hair was very soft and silky.

"I had an appointment with the nail technician who painted my fingernails as desired. She then informed me the hair stylist would do my pedicure. It was a mistake. This lines were crooked. The color was a varying widths. It looked as though a 6 year old ...more painted my toenails. I was laughed at when I stated I would not pay for the service as it was not the service I asked for. "

Ocala Hair Salons Reviews
was very professional and very personable. She did an exellent job with my hightlights and cut (exactly what I asked her to do). The pricing was very reasonable as well. It was a a nice environment and all of the staff seemed very personable. I will continue to use
in the future because of my great ...more experience at this
"The hairdresser at Ulta was cordial and well intentioned, but just failed to perform when it came to hair cutting.
After stating numerous times...that I just wanted the haircut that I had, cleaned up a bit and to keep the same cut...as she began she stated..."I cut in my style of cutting, but you will get the same results".
It ...more is now 5 weeks later and my hair is and has been horrible from the day I left the
. The color (highlighting) was fine, though.
After telling her that my hair does not do well with razor cuts or "point" cutting (not sure if that is the correct terminology)....she did it anyway. And that is with me speaking up in the middle of the cut to stop doing it.
Should we as consumers really have to pay for a job poorly done?
I have found that of all the hairdressers I have been to here in Ocala seem to follow trends and do the same cut whether the head / hair will work with that method.
I used to be in the business years ago, working in a
that was years ahead of it's time. I performed facials, makeup, nails, etc. This
was adamant and very strict to make sure that customer service and satisfaction was held to the highest standards and refused to accept payment from a client if they were the least bit dissatisfied. Consultations were free and could last as long as an hour to make sure that everyone was on the same page. Yes, I know that hair grows back, but really...should it be a roll of the dice experience everytime you go for a hair cut?
If anyone out there has an excellent hairdresser that they can recommend without hesitation, please post it. My idea of a great haircut is one that takes minimal effort to maintain and continues to look good until the next time you need a cut. If these thoughts are in the least bit incorrect - then please enlighten me. I am certainly open to some reasonable discussion. Hate the thoughts of having to travel 4.5 hours one way just for a good hair cut. "
