"First time visit. Office staff very patient friendly. Xray performed at office. Film result shown on large flat screen tv as I was comfortably reclining in patient recliner. Dr."
very pleasant, took his time, thoroughly explaining while showing me visual of my foot issue on screen. Very satisfied. Dr.

"Nail fungus never responded well to treatment over a year's time. Foot wound the same over a period of several months. Still home doctoring and getting better results. Got a second" opinion about surgery and am glad I passed on that. Fees and purchases are in my opinion excessive considering the benefits received.

"Dr. D checked out the foot and removed the little cyst with ease, told me it was quite common, that others could form but could also be easily removed. He also told me that there might" not be any further ones. I appreciated his "macro" view, it helped me to know what to expect. I felt a lot of confidence in his assessment and manner and will definitely use him again if needed. I give him an "A" overall!! There was an issue that arose, which I don't know if this is common among podiatry offices or not, and this is the reason I gave a "C" grade: I got a bill after the procedure that was for the full amount, even though I have good insurance. When I called the insurance company, they told me it had been billed as a "cosmetic" procedure (on the bottom of my foot??). Calling the Dr.'s office, the billing person told me that the insurance companies sometimes deemed it that, and that they would resubmit and contact the insurance company to try to get it coded differently. Now I've gotten that same bill, so no fix. The Dr.'s office did not seem to have any final control over this. So I don't know if this could have been handled differently. I just know that I've spent 5 times longer on the phone about the billing matter than it took the doc to fix the foot! I'd still return to this doc. Just thought I'd warn others to explicitly ask about the coding at the time of service, which I did not think to do.

My dad is new to the area and we had found this group here on Angie's list. My dad is 83 and benefits most from a doctor with patience. We had an appointment schedule but ended up with an emergency situation. The staff worked us in the very same morning, saw him immediately upon our arrival, and provided outstanding medical care and attention. We will be with group for years to come. The staff, Doctor's included, were kind, thorough, and very patient. (I'm a former nurse so probably extra critical and I was impressed! )

She got me in on 24 hours notice. She was wonderful. I was very pleased. She's very helpful. She solved my problem within five minutes. She offered to get me back in quickly if I needed it. Office environment is very nice. There's no wait. I think she's wonderful.

I have Plantar fasciitis. On my initial visit, X-rays and ultrasounds were taken of both feet and I was given steroid injections to the tune of 450$. I felt some relief and was told I needed to come back for more injections in a week. When I called to schedule my next appointment I asked how much the injections were going to cost and I was quoted 150-180$. When I saw the doctor, he pulled out the ultrasound machine again. I told him he had already done an ultrasound on both feet. He said that he had to do it again in order to give the injections and would not be able to do the injections without it. He then gave me the injections. My husband has had this same procedure done at another doctor (was cured) and he never needed the ultrasound to give shots. When we went to checkout the price was 425$. When we questioned it, they said that the price they quoted on the phone did not include the ultrasound (which literally took 5 seconds and which he did not use while administering the injection). We also received bills wanting more money after the first visit. They fleece their patients and are only concerned with charging as much as possible. Avoid this place like the plague.

We trust Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
and would only go to him. He worked on my right foot a few years earlier and I knew I had to get the other foot done eventually. We put it off as long as we could and then he said we needed to take care of it. Very good decision we made together. He cares, he makes sure you are comfortable and he doesn't rush you. I have recommended my family and friends to him and they are also pleased with Dr.

I was able to get an appointment with Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
the following Monday, October 13, 2014. I brought the X-rays that the urgent care facility had taken with me. All parking near the entrance was taken, so I had to park quite a ways away and walk. The waiting room was so full of people there were no chairs left to sit on, but a kind soul saw that moon boot on my foot and offered his seat. When I finally got into the examining room Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
quickly looked at the X-rays I had brought, felt around my foot a little bit and mumbled something like "I see what they (referring to the urgent care facility) thought they saw, but it is [inaudible]." I was too stunned to ask at that moment. He ushered me out and said to come back in two weeks, and I MIGHT get out of the boot then. So - not a good first impression, but I figured I'd stick it out (changing horses in mid-stream might not be a good idea either) and made the appointment for October 27. This time parking and the waiting room were in better shape. The nurse/PA (whatever she was) got me in fairly quickly and took X-rays. Didn't have to wait too long for Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
in the examining room either. He felt around my foot again, looked at the new X-rays and said I needed to be in the boot for another 10 days. And he mentioned that the X-rays looked the same as before, and that was the kind of progress we were looking for. That didn't make sense to me*, especially in light of his previous speculation that I might get out of the boot at this point, but again was too stunned to ask questions. Again, I was quickly ushered out to the front desk in order to settle the charges and make another appointment 2 weeks down the road. Oh, he also told me I could quit wearing the boot on Nov. 7. *How can "the same" be construed as progress? There were some other questions I would have liked to ask (like Why is it OK to quit wearing the boot 3 before the next X-rays), but did not get a
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
to ask because he was so quick to get me out of there that I didn't have a
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
to gather myself. Again I felt like I really did not want to come back here, but if it was going to be only one more time I would stick it out. So I made another appointment for Nov. 10. Knowing by then that it would very difficult to ask Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
questions and get information out of him I typed my questions up in advance this time. Anyway, another set of X-rays, then into the examining room and the same routine as before, a little feeling around the foot, a look at the X-rays. He pronounced the fracture healed and wanted to quickly

me out. I did remember a couple of my questions, and managed to ask them, getting a little bit of information out of him this time. But the typed sheet was in my purse, and I found myself ushered out before I could grab it and ask the rest of the questions. So I circled the unanswered ones and explained to the person at the desk what I was doing, that I still needed answers to these circled questions. She took the sheet and put in with my file. I asked her when I should be getting the answers. She said in a couple of days. Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
was standing there, maybe 3 feet away, so I thought he had heard that conversation. At any rate, no answers the following Wednesday, but I thought I'd give them a little leeway. Nothing on Thursday either. Meant to call and follow up on Friday, but had so much work I didn't get around to it. So I finally set up an account on their patient portal over the weekend and sent a couple of messages that way, hoping that might work. But nothing, not even an acknowledgement of the messages. So I called Monday and left a message for Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
. Still nothing. On Tuesday (I believe it was Tuesday) I reported my experience with Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
to the urgent care facility. Finally, on Wednesday, November 19, Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
called and I asked him a few more of the questions I had, this time getting some answers out of him. But this meant that I could have done a lot more to help rehab myself nine (9) days earlier, had Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
given me the information I needed in a timely manner. Instead, my rehab was delayed by those nine days. Even if I assume that he did not hear my conversation with the person at the desk on Nov. 10, and even if I assume that this person had not passed my questions on to him, the responsibility still
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
with Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
- it is his office, his staff and his office procedures, and he should have made sure that patients' questions are passed on to him. So if I generously give him those 2 extra days (until Wednesday, the day answers had been promised) there was still a delay of 7 days before he got back to me. And I am now thinking that if I had not reported my unfortunate experience to the urgent care facility I probably still would not have heard from him to this very day. Overall my impression is that communication/giving information is something that Dr.
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
is not
Niceville Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
on. And it seems to fit with some of the other reviews here.
