I was not too impressed with this company. The sales people were OK. However, I had some issues with the work performed. The contractors wanted to come in at a time that was more convenietn to them than to myself. Once they were in, I caught them trying to cut corners: Underneath the countertops, bits of wood are supposed to be installed (builder). At some point in the process, the topic of these bits of wood were brought up. I was asked if I needed them installed. My answer was a resounding "YES"!! After this verbal confirmation, when I inspected the completed work, I found that they had not installed the builders. When I pointed this out, the response I received was to the effect of " sure, if you want, we can do that" ! Not only are these builders an integral part of the installation, I had specifically asked for them. Unacceptable. I would not work with this company again.

Despite the fact we were totally on the defensive as a result of our lives being turned upside down by the turn of events, the professionalism and sincere approach taken by the team quickly settled our nerves. After the initial in home consultation, and drafting of the estimate/scope of work, a few days were allowed to pass before the contract was finalized. The final home visit entailed a detailed plan of the project, and amazingly, an opportunity to make subtle changes to some of the plans. Upon signature of the contract and determination of the draw payment schedule, a standard 25% deposit was made to get the ball rolling. The first big thing was the delivery of materials to the house. If you have a big project, or any size of project for that matter, plan on losing some parking space in the driveway and/or garage. we ended up with 5 crates of travertine in the driveway, and drywall, mud, thinset, tools and supplies neatly organized in the garage. The project start date kicked off as scheduled but progress was impacted on the second day by unforeseen circumstances beyond anyones control, minimal delays were incurred during this first phase, but, keep in mind, if you are a home owner, quality
all, and unless you involve yourself every step of the way and address the issues that come to mind you will quickly feel out of the loop. Remaining informed feeds much needed patience and communication must be maintained both ways! Immediately following the drywall work which included mudding and texturing, the travertine tile job began(longest phase) the attention to detail necessary for this work was evident. Everyday I checked in after work, I had the opportunity to watch (
&
) a few moments performing the tedious tasks of mixing & trowling mortar, setting stone, squaring and leveling and repeating a few tiles before they quietly cleaned up for the night and provided us their progress plan for the next day. Before we knew it, the entire floor beneath our feet had been transformed into a near flawless stage. Immediately following the tile install, a two man crew (
&
) arrived and swiftly installed all sixteen doors throughout the house with perfect plumb and swing, then they dived right into installing nearly 1200 total linear ft of 5.25 inch base board and quarter round moulding. Lastly onto the bathrooms... This phase was the most daunting, yet once again, we were proved it was nothing to worry about! The team (
&
) operated in a synchronized effort that only occurs with an experienced and professional team. The first bath received a 39" high travertine wall treatment with bull nose border decorateive stone detail borders which flowed into a full surround with travertine tile to the ceiling, complimenting the new (heavy) cast iron porcelain tub/shower. The master bath was redone from the ground up. The existing master bath with split shower/twas removed and replaced with a custom 4 ft x 9 ft walk in cave shower with dual shower heads with individual controls, 5" stoop and 59" wet bench . To continue with the travertine motif in bath #1,bath #2 received identical wall treatments in travertine. The entire shower was clad in travertine with decorative stone detail borders and recessed nooks for item storage. The open air way in the shower partition added unbelievable depth and design to the entire bathroom. Both baths received new vanities with custom granite tops and under mount sinks that perfectly compliment the design. Additional lights and ventilation units were also installed to improve ventilation and available lighting. We are thoroughly pleased with the results of the job. Oh by the way, this whole project was completed with out our family being displaced a single night! The courtesy and flexibility of the team to meet our "live in" needs during the adventure and still get the job done in spectacular fashiuon was truly amazing. End result: an absolutely perfect job!
Thanks guys!

I had

remodel my kitchen which included removing a wall to create a pass through / breakfast bar. New cabinets, refaced cabinets, new floor, new counter tops, back splash, lights, new sink and plumbing, island

hood. From beginning to end the entire experience was great, they would listen to my concerns that would arise throughout the process and addressed them promptly. They went above and beyond when my

hood was extremely difficult to mount do to its design, they had to do a lot of attic work that day. They were very professional. The physical work started on 9/10/13 and was complete by 10/19/13. It was a large job, and being done that quickly was great. I used

The Coodinator (
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
) arrived on time (early, in fact) and went over the project that we intended to have done. We discussed what was necessary, how best to fix the problem and then discussed options for the roof (shingle, metal roofing, etc). The price(s) he gave "off the top of his head" were significantly higher than any we had gotten from other companies. However, he said that he would get with his boss (
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
) and go over his notes and the details of what we wanted done to ensure that we got a solid, no "fluff" estimate on the project.
This, "No-fluff" estimate came from a previous job that HomeTown did for us that was a complete screw-up from the planning and logistics side.....the guys who actually performed the work did a spectacular job and we would recommend them to anyone....but not the company. The 1st job started 10 days late, took 2 weeks longer than it was supposed to and had to be re-planned by
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, one of the construction guys, because the initial planning was done so badly that time and materials were wasted.......and the costs passed on to us.
Anyway, we NEVER heard back from
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
with the estimate on the roofing project. Once
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
left our home....that was it - we havent heard a word from them since.
While we love the result of the 1st project they did for us, it was due to the workers efforts that it was done right and well....not the company planning & logistical folks. The Project Coodinator is not competent (in my opinion) and, based on that and our previous experience - we will never use OR RECOMMEND
Navarre Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to anyone.

Very friendly.experience in store went well and for the amount of work was very fair ,and below other places in price such as Lowe's. The work team was a man and two adult sons.friendly.They didn't always show early. There was more work than we believe they thought. Our floor took about two days to remove and plus the removal of all the other of the kitchen.we were told the remodel would take two weeks .took closer to three.the floor was their largest problem.they used product to even out the floor before installing the new floors. But after 4 attempts there are places that are uneven and lifted and without grout. But the owner

Chapman wanted us to get them to redo those areas.we decided against.he did make the team fix things he found wrong on his last inspection.the cabinets are fine. The granite guys that came in did great. We thought there was some lack of communication between the office and there measurements and the work team.It turned out to be not reading the owners notes and his correct measurements. The flooring is a new type of floor and they need more experience in installing and the prep work that goes into laying this type of floor.that is the most disheartening part.
The cabinets are nice quality.Granite, great work.Backsplash ,so so.Floors sad.The head of team

wanted it fix things correctly.one of the workers were upset that my husband asked them ( him) to redo the area that was really bad,and he was angry. So anyway the floor still is not right.but we choose not to have them attempt again, one more time.We were not offered any money returned for the floor not being right. It may be fine if you don't get this product of flooring. And I guess they felt it was fine because they offered to repair it.
