Mr Degen is a highly experienced Master Piano Technician and Re builder, who has rendered his services to many of the most famous Orchestras, such as Israel Philharmonic , Paris Philharmonic, Zubin Metha, London festival Ballet, . and many others, registered at MPT (http://www.master-piano-techs.org/about_us.html) Piano services are as unique , and the price for the service depends a lot on many factors, The best is to call and ask for price, Other fees may apply depending on distance and type of job, conditions of the piano. Special Discounts for Members of the List start at 15% and may be higher depending on the customer. Old consequent Customers will have a higher discount or will keep original price. The company was registered in the US. on 2003 when Mr Degen came to the US. Mr Degen is third generation of piano tuners & prefers to refer to his work as a Consulting because Degen’s Piano normally trys to make a full service taking in account what the piano needs and not just a fast tuning. A well maintained Piano needs a minimum of 2 yearly services, even if not in use, and depending if it is used for concerts or where is located may go up to four or more tunings yearly, In my first visit I will assess the customer about his instrument. Afterward if the service is not performed regularly, not only the tuning will not be 100% but also there will be extra charges or loss of discount.
