Business Description: Fleming Builders is General Contractor capable of handling all aspects of building. We excel in all areas including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Roofing, & Permitting. We are a smaller company. We prefer to do a great job and make money on projects that we can control rather than doing a high volume of work. Usually taking on too much work leads to unhappy customers & jobs with very low or no profit. One advantage to working with Fleming Builders is the amount of experience in not only building but design. We do not just bid jobs as the per the plans. If we see an opportunity for the client to save money without sacrificing quality, we make note of it. We find it very important to work as a team with the owner, architect, the city and all subcontractors hired by the owner. We try to avoid finger pointing jobs. We understand that jobs DO have obstacles, it is being honest and doing everything possible to find solutions to get the job done on time & on or below budget. We have 10 employees ranging from superintendents, permit expeditors, field workers, carpenters, and handymen which have a back ground in electrical, plumbing & HVAC. On larger projects, we do use subcontractors. We have a long standing relationship with ALL of our subs. This eliminates any surprises in the middle of the job. Our subcontractors are the best in the their trade and they are dependable. Having a good team allows us to provide our customer with a single call to handle it ALL. Fleming Builders has a State Certified General Contracting License. We carry a general liability policy, and workman's compensation. The same for all of our subcontractors. We meet all the requirements to pull a permit in every municipality in the State of Florida. When it comes to work we can take on any residential project, and on the commercial side we like to limit the jobs to 1.5 million. On the residential side we do any type of addition, interior remodel, drywall repair, lighting installation & design, decks, landscape lighting, foundation repair, etc. There is nothing we cannot handle. One advantage to working with us is a great deal of experience processing plans for permitting. Usually this is the owner's responsibility. We understand that our customers have jobs and other responsibilities. We do our best to keep the owners in the loop, but we do our very best to act like an owner's representative so the process creates as little stress as possible.
