Home Theater Installation reviews in Miami Beach

These are small jobs that I found most contractors in this business don't really want to do. I had scheduled appointments with another company that a friend had recommended highly - they had installed his home theater system (a big job) - they never showed up either the first or second time for the appointments we had scheduled, didn't call, didn't text, didn't send flowers...
So I checked Angie's List and found
Miami Beach Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
. and talked with
Miami Beach Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
. He gave me an estimate of $165 and was available in a couple of days (which was just fine). He arrived on time. He solved both of the above problems very easily by moving some components around and changing some settings on our system. In addition, I mentioned to him that our Samsung LCD Flatscreen had always had a cloudy effect in the blacks (apparent only when viewing in low light situations). He said this is a common problem with this TV and most people don't even notice it. He changed the settings on the TV and showed me how to change it back if we didn't like it after watching it that night. WOW! It's like having a new set! The blacks are totally black now regardless of the light in the room. This wasn't even discussed when I set up the appointment, but he just took care of it and knew immediately what the problem was! VERY IMPRESSED!
I mentioned to
Miami Beach Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
that there were a couple of less than positive reviews on Angie's List. He said he had been in the hospital and a couple of people had left messages for him but he was unable to get back to them until after he was released. Life happens. He said he had taken care of the problems as soon as he could, but the reviews are still there. My previous AV guy went out of business.
Miami Beach Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
is now my go to guy for anything like this, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He only charged me $95 instead of the originally $165 estimated, as it took less time than he had expected. Who does that any more?
