Electrical Reviews in Miami Beach

Electrician appeared competent and was curteus. There was an initial problem of not shutting down the breaker to one of my bedrooms before starting work which for some reason sent a surge to all the outlets in that room but luckily no damage to my computer. All in all, I have no reason but to consider the service excellent and would use again. The price was about double the $200 worth of services but I know electricians are expensive and he was there for several hours.

I dealt with the owner Raf. He is very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. Raf explained everything in detail and got the job done quick. I was very happy with their service and I already recommended his company to other condo owners in the building.

Electrical reviews in Miami Beach

We met
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
thru a neighbor. He was knowledgeable and came with a good recommendation. He came to the job site 2-3 time to price the job and then give us his contract. He said he would take our check on the day he actually started.
Our issue is
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
never kept his word.
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
said he would start in about a week after his current job. He said he would start immediately after that job without taking time off in-between. That sounds like a firm commitment to me.
We called three times over the following 10 days after the date that he said he would start and never received a call back. don't say you will take a job and then not show up.
- Susan L.

We were very pleased with this service. The workers were on time, professional and the job was finished beautifully, although it did take longer than initially estimated. However, there was no additional charge for this extended time. We were pleased enough to ask for some additional small jobs to be done in some other areas, and we negotiated fees for those work which is underway. We plan to continue working with this business for future needs.

diagnosed the track lights as a burned out dimmer. He repaired it immediately. The lamp was much more complicated. Built for halogen bulbs, the interior was literally cooked.
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
wasn't sure it was fixable, but he said he would try. Over a period of a few days, he began by replacing the halogen bulb with an

after replacing the burned out connector, a pretty good trick.. That wasn't enough, though. The lamp worked, but only briefly. The switch and its wiring also burned out. The halogen bulb's heat was too much for the mechanism. This lamp was causing so much trouble, but we had been looking for a replacement for months with absolutely no success.
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
said he would look for a new switch, or another solution. A few days later, he called and said he thought he'd solved the problem. He was right. The lamp works perfectly.

Needless to say that finding a good and reliable contractor in Miami is close to impossible. Well Mr
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
and his team are not only efficient, fast, and clean but they also truly care about the job. They really think outside the box and are very good at problem solving, which is a necessary quality when you are getting work done in an old building like I am. We had a very important leak coming from the roof that we had been trying to fix for years. No previous contractor was ever able to find the cause of that leak until
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
came along and finally put an end to it.
They entirely renovated the hotel's bathrooms and I was really impressed with the way the organized their work schedule, as well as with the rapidness of their work. They were completing 2, sometimes 3 bathrooms every 2 days, allowing us to be fully operational shortly after we started the project (it was a very precise and time consuming work as we had to demolish the existing tile wall one by one to save the tiles, install new valves, durock etc...).
Here is another impressive example of their thoroughness and implication. We had always been struggling with storage space in the hotel but could never come up with solutions to gain space, despite the numerous contractors and workers who worked on this site everyday for years. Well, shortly after completing his first project with us, Mr
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
realized that several walls in the hotel were hollow (under our staircase for instance) and could be opened then turned into small storage rooms or even laundry rooms! You would think that someone would have realized that before! This may not seem like much explained like this out of context, but after working with so many incompetent contractors, finding one who knows what he's doing, who helps you come up with ideas and is not afraid to be creative and try things others don't even want to consider, truly takes a weight off your shoulders!
I could describe every major project they have done for us but the conclusion would always be same. They work fast, they show up on time and will not leave the site until their work is perfect. And their prices are very reasonable, especially when if you consider the quality of service they provide. I highly recommend them, I already have many times and will be happy to keep doing so in the future.

was always there when he said he was going to be and worked quickly and efficiently. My backyard is now well-lighted so I can enjoy being out there at night. He ended up doing several things for me besides the backyard lighting, including replacing worn out porch light fixtures and an antique lamp. He did an excellent job on everything.

In hindsight, we should have hired WT from the beginning.
At the start, I called and left a message in the middle of the business day. They were back in touch within a few hours, then out to the house a day later to provide a quote on the bathroom work, as well as mudding and painting an adjacent hallway and replacement of a few aging light fixtures in other rooms.
The two-man crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and got right to work. They pulled full shifts with a short break midday to take on fuel. They were mindful of their work footprint and left no

of their activities, except for a really great looking bathroom and hallway.
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
and his colleague are exceptional at their work. I specifically note their honesty and integrity as they clearly under-promised, then over-delivered. The mudding/painting work was a sizable job and the results are first class. As the lights work and
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
is still alive, one can also reasonably conclude they know electrical systems as well.
They did not try any of the standard games and shakedowns so common with local contractors. They quoted a very reasonable price for the job at hand and delivered well beyond that which was promised.
Other members of my family have inspected their work. Each has asked for their contact information so they might also use their services.
Readers of this review can save themselves significant time and headaches by engaging this company FIRST. If you get their voice mail, leave a message and move on with your day. They will get back to your promptly.
There is not much more I can add except to encourage you to pick up the phone and dial their number.

and Manual did a thorough job. They are the preferred electrical company of our condo building and have been hired and completed multiple jobs through-out the building. Every job has been completed with professionalism, thoroughness, and accuracy. They are very knowledgeable of their craft and were referred to us by another building that uses them regularly. They were initially hired to fix a botched up job from another company that did not pass the City's inspection. They knew exactly what the city codes were, what they needed to do, and did a great job so that we finally passed inspection. I recommend them with complete confidence that you will be satisfied and the job will be done right.

1. Proposal Stage: As noted above, they were very timely and responsive in getting back to me on all my questions in a timely and clear fashion.

2. Clear and Detailed Proposal Provided: As detailed in the services section, they provided me with a clear and well defined proposal, and cost estimate for the work to be done.
...More /> 3. Email clarification, and confirmation: Prior to contracting them, I wanted to clarify that there would be no additional surprise costs later, and that completion would be when the permit was obtained, worked performed, and final inspection/closing of the permit completed. By email, I received confirmation of both of these, and also confirmation that I would pay for the permits from the city, and that the payment terms would be 50% upfront (which i paid), and 50% upon completion.

4. Permit - Permit was applied for, paid for by me, and the majority of the work completed (I was told that only a final piece had to be added prior to the final inspection but that would be done the morning of the final inspection).

5. Permit Pulled Back Prior to Final Inspection - Prior to the final inspection, the city's building department pulled back the permit, and requested a letter from our Condo Association prior to re-approving the "already approved/paid" permit calling for final inspection. However, our condo association, like many in south florida are facing due to the economic times, is non-functioning and had no legal/official board of directors that could sign the letter. The city would not accept a letter from myself and my attorney with letters from the last board of directors' president and treasurer explaining to them that there was no board to sign the letters and that I, being a condo owner in good standing (paid up in full) could sign the letter.

6. January 5, 2012: A court-appointed Receiver was put in charge of our Condo Association, and was finally able to sign the association letters requested by the city prior to re-opening the permits and calling for final inspection.

7.a. February 6, 2012: We are out of state owners, and flew down to meet our plumbing contractor at the city's building department to finalize permits. The city accepted the letters, but also requested a
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
notarized "hand-drawn floor plan" of the work being done by each the plumbing and electrical permit contractors for their files. The plumbing contractor put it together in less than an hour, notarized it, and provided back to the city. The plumbing contractor has been exceptional, and would highly recommend.

7.b February 6, 2012: Upon receiving the request from the city for the "hand-drawn electrical plan" of the work being done by the permit, as described in initial electrical proposal - included in the service description of this report, I called the electrical contractor from the city's office explaining to them the city's request, and in the interest of time - I email them a
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
copy of a floor plan for our apartment so that the qualifier could draw the plan. I was hoping that we could also finalize the electrical permit on this same day.

a. The original person who did the work is no longer with the contractor.
b. The contractor was on another job, so could not help us to finalize project on February 6 with the requested hand-drawn electrical plan of the work done, as the plumbing contractor had done.
c. New Additional Cost - Yet to be Determined - Upon connecting with the contractor, we were now told that section 5 of their quote where it says "Pull the Electrical Permit for the Above Described Work to be Performed" - did not include the cost of the hand-drawn electrical plan being requested by the city's permit folks, or load calculations for the work completed by them as decribed in the services section.

d. Estimate Request for Hand-drawn Electrical Plan needed to Pull Permit - While we felt different about what is included under the "Pull the Electrical Permit" section of their proposal, we simply ask for what the estimate would be for this "hand-drawn electrical plan" of the work they did for a 480 sq. feet studio apartment.

d. Refusal to provide cost estimate to complete the hand-drawn electrical plan requested by permit folks: The contractor, to our surprise, is refusing to provide us with a cost estimate of what they should already have in their files after several site visits, and is refusing to provide us with an estimate until he charges us for another site visit. I know the individual who did this work is no longer with their group, but this information along with the
Miami Beach Electricians Provider Name Locked
floor plan I provided him and the specific list of all of the electrical equipment in the apt now should be more than suffice to give us a general quote/cost range for this "unexpected new additional cost" that we thought was already included in the original quote's "Pull the electrical permit for the above described work to be performed".

Very confused. and disappointed on this latest challenge because these folks were very responsive upfront, and seemed to be very clear/helpful when we went thru our contrator evaluation, and provided us with what we thought was a complete project quote and clarifications.

Refusing to provide us with a general estimate range for this "new surprise additional cost" on the same project, same 480 sq. ft studio, and same permit - raises major red flags on our end on what this new "additional cost" will be.
