"Arrived at center, and was greeted immediately. Easy process. Did not wait but for a couple minutes, till I was called back. Nurse introduced herself, confirmed" info. Very through. Anesthesiologist introduced, asked if I had questions. Answered all questions, and induded example, if needed. Doctor, again, introduced himself and confirmed who I was and procedure. I stated I was nervous, and received the answer that it's ok. All personel were professional and very efficient.

"Prepare to wait to see him. It's rare when he's running on time, but it's worth the wait. He's not going to rush through the appointment just" to keep a schedule. The usual wait time to see him is about 20 minutes.

Gastroenterologist reviews in Leesburg

Swallowing problems required that I have an endocscopic procedure which Dr.
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
performed; the mid-level did the pre-procedure assessment and the follow-up. Although the front desk staff didn't seem up to the level of the rest of the practice, overall it was an excellent experience. The facility and personnel are top-notch, the professionalism set the

for a calm, painless, comfortable procedure. I recommend these folks without reservation!

He is good. I've gone to him for probably 15 years. He also does my colonoscopies which could be embarrass, but he does it so professionally. His office Staff is so professional. An embarrassing problem turns out to be as comfortable as possible with him.

I was impressed with Dr.
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
's skills and knowledge base. The nurses in his office were also knowledgeable and caring. He and his staff responded in a timely manner to all my questions and concerns. I had a few minor problems after the surgery, but Dr.
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
always seemed to know how to solve them. He gave me a lot of good advice about how to avoid future problems. He never seemed rushed or too busy to talk with me at any of my visits. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing

He’s on the ball. As a specialist we got to see him every time. He has really good bedside manner. It was not an easy time but he made it easier. His availability was really good and when my husband needed something done, they got him in on the same day.
- Emily M.

I've been using his services for 15 months. They are very efficient. I feel they have a good system down there. There's really no waiting time and stuff. I"m really pleased with Dr.
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
and his expertise. I haven't had any problems.

The offices are not very clean, nor up to date, and they small old. (Especially the Burns Road office) The weigh scale was over 10 pounds under calibrated! I'm also not sure the blood pressure cuffs were working well because that too was a bit off. The scale weighed me at least 10 pounds under what I really weigh. (I'm thin already so I'd know.) The blood pressure reading was also much lower than I've ever been in years. But who knows, it could have been an off day... The front office is very disorganized. It's actually a physical mess. The web based patient portal has me listed as someone I've never heard of before. Still haven't gotten that straightened out yet. They also couldn't find my results from a CT scan I had nor the results for the sonogram. They did end up finding them but it took some doing on their part. The office in West Palm is not messy and it appeared better organized. The staff also seemed to know their jobs better. But none of them are very friendly save for one female in the WPB front office window. The first time I met the doctor he ended up screaming at me because he didn't think I was taking enough medication (I use natural organic and biological (if available) instead of big pharm meds that end up hurting you more.) and he felt I wasn't pro-active enough. I'm not in distress and I'm not on any meds. I need a doctor that is open to proven natural remedies. I went to him originally make sure that IF I ever had a problem, I'd have a gastro to turn to in an emergency. It was a strange experience. Now he wants to schedule a colonoscopy and I don't think he is careful enough to trust with the procedure. I have mixed feelings about this doctor. He seemed informed, but his bed side manner is downright rude at times. And the office on Burns is really a tragic mess. Once in a while you can see a kind person peek out of his doctor role, but because of his quirky personality and the disorganization of the office on Burns, and the fact he practices at a hospital I would prefer not to go to, I think I am going to try to find a different doctor in the area.

The appointment went fine. She is very good. She talks to you and listens to what you have to say. She does not just stare at her computer the entire time. The appointments usually run on time as well.

The sign in at
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
and Rectal clinic is an electronic sign in asking several questions that have already been asked previously, verifying information that isn't correct and making sure you swipe your credit card so they get their payment. In addition to paying prior to being seen (which is standard for any doctor) they send you a bill 2 to 3 weeks after your appointment and then try to bill you again. Prior to the surgery they make you sign a financial responsibility statement saying that you may be billed for the doctor, the facility, the anesthesiologist and the labs (if performed) separately totaling almost $5,000. I of course, contacted my insurance provider prior to sending the paperwork back and was assured that it would be covered except for my deductible. I also contacted the billing office to ensure that any of the "extras" would be in-network for me and they assured that it would be. At the time of my outpatient surgery I had to pay almost $700 out of pocket just to have the surgery. The surgery went fine and I was sent home with my responsible driver due to having undergone anesthesia. Along with my discharge paperwork I received a pamphlet from their lab services. It is not the same lab services as they assured me were "in network". I did receive several phone calls from the office asking how my recovery was going and urging me to make a follow up appointment but after receiving bills for several hundred dollars, to include bills from
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
and Rectal because I apparently had not been billed enough I refuse to go back. It has been several months since my surgery and I have received a refund from
Leesburg Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
and Rectal because they have over charged me and I overpaid. I am still receiving bills from the lab company, who wants their full amount due to being out of network, the anesthesiologist and the facility fee. The doctors are wonderful, the facility nurses were wonderful the billing department and insurance department needs some major help! I have never had any issues with billing like I have had with this company, they are too worried about getting their money that the customer service is virtually non-existent and to tell patients that their insurance will cover the procedures when they obviously don't know what they are taking about is almost as bad as the pain I was experiencing when I originally went to them.
