"System has been working ever since. I have an annual contract with the company. I have had this since 2009. I have always been happy with the service. They approach this customer by trying to solve the problem by eliminating possible small fixes before rushing to a bigger solution. I appreciate this process as the costs for repairs can be reduced if the smaller fix works.

"Misdiagnosed one of the problems. Tried hard to sell me a complete new system. His price for a new system was very high compared to another contractor. I decided to get other opinions.

doesn't use sales people for giving estimates. Their estimate and recommendations for systems was done by a skilled tradesman, who was actually on the job doing the work with his crew. Simply, they told it like it was without any gimmicks ( eg. extended warranties, service contracts, add-ons for things not needed, etc.).
Homeowners can look at all the HVAC ads and come-ons by other HVAC companies they want and if they think their getting a deal their probably not. Quality of work and craftmanship come first and they delivered both.
Bottom line: Excellent in all aspects.

" On Feb 20, 2008 I purchased a Central A/C Heat Pump System from the above subject Company. At the same time I also received a two (2) year Service Contract with the same organization. On the Install contract document that I signed and the seller signed it is stated in hand printing and noted with an asterisk (*) the following and I quote:

“* LIFE TIME WARRANTY ON COMPRESSOR AND EVAP COIL 10 YEAR ALL OTHER PARTS 2 YR SERVICE CONTRACT”

There is no indication or notice of registration requirement. I was never instructed or told that it was my responsibility to
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
the system. There was no registration card or document to fill out in order to
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
the system. Indeed I have no access to any information that may be required to
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
the system, such as the Model Numbers or Serial Numbers on either the outside compressor unit or the inside air handler. This information is however readily available to the seller.

I have had a service contract on this system since day one and continue to have one through March 2014. Service has been performed on the system every spring and every fall save 2012 when only one service was performed.

On Oct. 24, 2013 I placed a service call for a problem with the system. Service tech diagnosed a faulty Heat strip and it was replaced the next day along with a faulty Fan Control Board. All parts were covered under warranty and I paid for the labor ($175.00).

I subsequently placed a call to schedule the Fall tune-up for Nov. 7, 2013. While the service was being done the Compressor suddenly stopped running. The service tech could not get it to start again. The tech placed a call to his boss regarding the problem, sent him the info via text and voice messaging. The tech received a return call from his boss and was told there was no warranty coverage. I then showed the contract specifying the warranty information to the tech. He relayed this info to his boss and the tech told me his boss was on vacation and the tech would contact me that afternoon with the part ordering information and schedule the install of the compressor.

I was never contacted that Thursday afternoon. Nor was I contacted the next day Friday or that weekend.

"Everything went along as scheduled. Workers arrived on time. They took care to cover and not ruin my landscaping, even covering up the Christmas decorations which had been put out prior to their coming. Every bit of trash, nails etc. were carefully removed from the property and especially the driveway so that I would not have a flat tire. Everything was finished in a timely manner, with no unexpected weather or other interruptions."

"We signed up for the special for checking the heat pump. When the representative came, the system blew the breaker when he started it. On investigation, he saw that the entire bottom of the unit was rotted out from standing in water. We had just purchased the residence and the housing inspection had consisted of turning on the a/c to see that it was working.
Since it was expected to have a very cold night, the service man called the office to see if we could get a replacement that day, and they rearranged what their day had been planned to accommodate our needs. They even took the charge for the service call and deducted it from the price of the new unit. Then to protect the unit from the same problem that it had, they installed a four inch concrete base for the unit to rest on.
All in all, the people were courteous, prompt and pleasant. Even better, my wife and I did not have a very cold night.

"I called the main office number and stated that my air conditioner was making a loud noise but was running fine and I needed someone to come out and look at it. I stated that I was looking to get several estimates and asked if they did free estimates. She verified that they did give free estimates and we set up an appointment for someone to come out. On the day of my appointment the gentleman came out and was initially very firendly. He went into the attic to look at my air conditioner and showed me the pieces that were bad. No repairs were made at that time. He came down after several minutes and told me that it would be $59ish (I don't remember the exact price) for the estimate.
I was caught totally off guard, and told him that I was told that it was a free estimate by the lady who made the appointment. His attitude and demeanor changed almost immediately and he began berading me about how he doesn't work for free and I should know better than to think that there would be no charge for him climbing up in my attic and looking at my AC. I then reiterated that I was told the estimate was free. He then stood in my living room and called the main office and verified that I was told that the estimate was free. Apparently the receptionist was incorrect, this company only does free estimates for replacements not repairs. At this point the issue should have been dropped and he should have been on his way. Instead, he stood in my living room and made a phone call to the apparent owner of the company and went over the story with him and continued to discuss me and call me a "pain in the a**" with me standing 2 feet away from him. Once he got off of the phone he again asked me to pay the $59ish dollars and I again refused stating that I was told that the estimate was free and he verified that I was told exactly that. He continued to be rude, making snide comments, and belittling me as he walked out the door.
I was appalled at the behavior of this repairman that I invited into my home. He even verified that what I was told by his company was correct and that was still not good enough for him. Due to his behavior and attitude I would NEVER reccommend this company for anyone to use.

performed a tuneup on the AC system. In doing this he recommended changing out the large capacitor on the compressor.
He did all the work quickly and thoroughly. He answered all my questions. I am very happy with

and will use them for any future AC work.

"The unit that was installed in our new manufactured house could not keep the house at a 78 degree or lower level. The unit was installed by them so I called them for the repair. I'm going to shorten up the whole episode. They installed the size unit that they were told to by the engineers at
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
homes. It turns out that was not a big enough unit for this size house. While I got no help from
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and their dealer Citrus/Meadowood, I got lots of help from
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Every person that I dealt with, from the people answering the phone, to the service techs and the installers all were very professional. When they told me what day and about what time they would be here, that's when they showed up. When they showed up they worked hard to do the job right. Mr.
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, that's right the owner of the company called and talked to me personally. He advised me that a 1/2 ton bigger unit was needed. They installed the new unit and made sure everything was working properly before they left. Naturally I did have to pay for the difference in price but it was very reasonable. These people are a breadth of fresh air.

"I contacted
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
for an estimate to replace my air conditioner/heat system at the suggestion of a neighbor. I had a previous estimate from another company for $5200.
Largo HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave me an estimate of $3500, which I accepted. He arrived two days later at 7.30 am as scheduled. It took him approximately 3 hours to replace and test the system. I am very pleased with the price, schedule and workmanship.
