Business Description: This year was brought on with state surveys on our agenda.In April-Delmarva (Inspectors for Association of persons with Disabilities)surveyed our centers program and we recieved 100%.On June 22nd-The Agency for Health Care Administration surveyed the center for its biennial license survey and we did it again-100%. Go Team! The mission of Add To Life Adult Daycare is to provide a comfortable setting that does not feel like an institution. At Add To Life Adult Daycare, we offer an environment that fosters the integration of senior citizens and developmentally disabled citizens. We are not focused on what the disability is, rather how to have a good time while living life to the fullest extent possible with new friends. Add To Life Adult Daycare gives the community something different, allowing families to keep their loved ones out of long term care facilities. We do this by providing many services that families can not provide by themselves. The staff of Add To Life Adult Daycare is willing to allow your loved one to pursue activities he or she enjoys, while helping to also learn real life and social skills. The daycare runs on a 3>1 ratio allowing your loved one extra attention, supervision and care. Everyone on our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, has completed multiple Alzheimer awareness training courses, and has passed two levels of background screenings. Each staff member receives person centered training, as well as State and Federal required training. From the time you first arrive, you’ll feel at home when greeted with hellos, handshakes and hugs.
