"My injury is actually from
2013 from water aerobics. I immediately scheduled a visit with him then and he did x-rays and said it was a torn" rotator cuff. Offered a cortisone shot but I opted to do in home therapy cause he said if I did that it would take a little longer to heal - but it would heal. Fast forward nearly 2 years and my pain was worse. I went back to him and he suggested that I was" interpreting my pain wrong" and that he believed it was a neck injury. He went ahead and gave my shoulder a shot but it did nothing for me. He referred me to Another dr in the clinic to address the neck pain and she did an MRI and found the not only did I have a neck injury but alsoa shoulder injury that requires surgery. She is treating me for the neck issue then I will have her refer me to a different shoulder doctor. Sometimes patient and doctor just doesn't click and this was one of those times

"He is very open and very clear on what my options are. He is very honest with me. Has a good patient manner and gets quality of life issues. He is aware of issues" that come with age. He is attuned to getting you back to where you want to be.

Sounds like you should be pursuing a disability claim.  Also, you could speak to your previous doctor frankly about your concerns.
Have they made orthotics for your shoes that distribute your weight better?

Whoops - I just realized that you may have been looking for Angie's List information on providers outside your home market. To see information on providers that aren't in your home Angie's List chapter, you can elect to pay a small addditional fee (generally about $15 to $20) to add another city's Angie's List to your existing memember.

This is James W. with Member Care. Thanks for posting your question.

It looks like when you signed up online on 8/5/2014, that you accidentally joined our greater Portland chapter instead of our Salem/Corvallis chapter that your zip code falls under. I have transferred your subscription to that chapter, so you will now have access to the correct area.

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at 1-866-783-2980. We're open weekdays from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET.

Orthopedic Care reviews in Inverness

He is wonderful! He’s very compassionate and professional. He has performed 2 surgeries on my daughter, both of which have been very successful. He is very good about explaining in detail what is going to happen and what to expect. Once you are an established patient, it is very easy to get any appointment, but new patients might have to wait a couple weeks. The office staff is excellent and he has been very helpful for us.

I was seen by him several times for treatment and follow up during the first 10 months of 2014. He administered 2 cortisone injections and sent me for physical therapy. He also recommended adding some stretching exercises to my workout regimen. ||If you must have a cortisone shot, he has great skills as a doctor. So many people have told me these injections are painful, but he did 2 of them for me and I was really surprised that I felt no pain. He will get you a diagnostic test if you need it, and he won't have you waste time/money on tests you don't need.||He is thorough and will take excellent care of you.

I'm recovering very well in large part due to her care. The physical therapists work for the doctor's office so the care is very coordinated. I would recommend her to anyone with any orthopedic issues.

He is a really good, caring guy. He was very informative and available about the procedure. He answered any questions I had while my husband was in recovery. It was a good experience.

From the very start, I found Dr.
Inverness Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
to be a "no nonsense" kind of Dr. She kidded me as being one of those Guitar player people. And because we do abuse our hands for hours at a time, she probably has grown to recognize us as we walk in the door. That said, she asked me why I waited so long to have this looked at. I wasn't sure how to answer, so I just told her the truth.. I was afraid. She carefully examined my hand, noticed my callouses (and possibly the neatly trimmed nails on my left hand only) and asked specific questions regarding how long before fingers go numb etc..Even though I was convinced that she could clearly see my problem, she wasn't so quick to just stamp a number on me and send me down the assembly line. She was interested in how I planned to rehabilitate after the surgery and what my future plans were for guitar playing. When I told her that I would do as she said regarding those things, she began to explain. I will ruin what she just fixed if I do not allow time for healing. It seemed that she wanted to hear my side and how interested I was in a successful outcome before she would agree to do the surgery. She may have agreed to do it anyway without my assurances of cooperation but as least she knew that I knew how recovery would go if I did not listen to her advise and follow her instruction. She seemed interested in long term success. and so was I.. Well, I did as she told me, and today I have a wonderful fully functioning hand. She repaired the trigger finger that required a ligament release/repair on the middle finger and she corrected the CTS . No more numb fingers..!! Where I couldn't play through even 1 song before , now after surgery I can play without any numbness at all through several. I don't play for hours on end like I used to , because as Dr.

explained CTS is an overuse injury. My hand is strong and fully usable....so I moderate my playing to keep it that way..I show of the surgery sites and have told many of my experience. I have had to actually draw a pen line on the incision line because they are that hard to see. So now 18 months later I went back to Dr.

to get my right hand done as it developed the exact same trigger finger and CTS. She was warm and friendly. Now that I knew what to expect, I was much more prepared to get the right hand done. I am now 1 month post surgery and back to work. Surgery sites, beautiful, clean, neat, hardly a scar to see!! I am taking care during the recovery time because I know I will experience a full recovery if I continue to follow her instructions. She knows what she is doing, and her staff is just awesome.!! Thank you for giving me my hands back !!
- David G.

He has a great bedside manner and explains what is wrong to me well. He is very thorough. I have no issues with scheduling an appointment and I never have to wait to get seen.
- Jayne C.

Had a spinal fusion in August of 2014 and have not walked without assistance since. I now have nerve damage to the peroneal nerve that causes foot drop, numbness and tingling of the foot and lower leg (right side), and issues with bowel control. I would not recommend this physician to anyone. I am searching for a neurosurgeon to try to repair the damage, but may be crippled the rest of my life because of this surgeon. I am only 58.
- Debra N.

I have been going to him for about fifteen yes. I was a runner and had knee problems. He kept me going. He is very knowledgeable. He was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my knee. He really seemed to know what he was doing. He told me what my options were and he never pushed me. I really appreciated the fact that he was honest to me. He is very personable and has a great bedside manner. When some of the staff in the hospital did some incorrect things for my care, he took care of everything. I felt that he was my advocate and was interested in my healthcare.
