My yard is really too shady to have a nice lawn, but it looks pretty good because of
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. I bought a Big Deal from them in April, 2013 and continue to have them work on my yard.
The B for responsiveness is because I told them I wanted the violets in my yard to disappear, but the violets seemed to be spreading. This year I challenged them, (Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it) and they've been treating for broadleaf control since then. The violets are 80% gone!
The broadleaf control also is killing off this weird grass that creeps along the surface of the ground and grows about a foot long, with strands spread out in all directions. With lots of rain the yard looked fine, but in August this grass would die (not this year though) and the area would be bare dirt until the next spring. So I'm happy about this.

I chose to use a lawn service this year because my beautiful blue grass, sod lawn has been having major issues with invasive grasses, with a bit of fungus and broadleaf weeds. My biggest problems were invasive grasses and grass-like weeds and the owner who visited and sold me the service said his special treatments would take care of the problem. The service has been generally timely and good but my invasive grass problems have gotten worse and the overall condition of the lawn beside the grass problem is only marginally better than when I did the treatments myself. I asked to talk to the owner about the situation but rather than talk to me, he sent out a technician to take pictures and apply additional chemicals. With still no improvement, I asked to talk to the owner again and got no response. The office said he was too busy getting new customers. The technician seems like a nice guy and so do the office staff. They seem like they are trying but I'm not getting what was promised. Perhaps they just don't have the knowledge or equipment or over-promised. I had great hopes from this company but am getting little results in my lawn and that has to be the measure of a lawn service. Its pretty hard to work it out with a company where the owner will not talk to you after the sale. I do not plan to renew my contract with them at this point.

I had been a customer for 20 years. Up until a couple years ago my lawn looked good except for the nutsedge. However the past couple years my lawn has been invaded with crabgrass and spurge. I would call them, they would come out and spray but nothing improved. Each year it was too hot, too dry, and this year too wet, so therefore, I had weeds. My backyard doesn't look like it was treated at all. I called one last time and told them this was their
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
to make things right. My lawn looks the same. My neighbors' lawns look just fine, so it is not my location.

I switched to another service, which is highly rated and less expensive. Even their core aeration and overseeding service is less expensive.

I could not be more disappointed with
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
and I would recommend not using their lawn care service.
This whole process began after my wife and I returned home from vacation in August 2013. Our lawn had turned a brown color, and was dying. We quickly learned that the lawn was being taken over by chinch bugs. We reached out to several companies including
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, the owner came out to our home and met with my wife and myself to discuss the process. While standing in our backyard, we were assured numerous times that after replacing the dead sod in the front yard, and utilizing their service, our lawn would become the envy of the neighborhood. He also told us that if at anytime something happened to the grass, that he would replace it with new sod. We shook hands and told
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
that he was hired. I asked if we would need a soil sample to ensure there weren't any other issues with the grass, and was told that doing that was not necessary. We setup a service where their technicians would come out multiple times a month to
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
the bugs. This would be part one in a three part procedure to returning the lawn to lush green.
Part two of our process involved hiring a professional sprinkler repair person to repair and modify our sprinklers. This was done in September 2013.
Towards the beginning of this year, 2014, we paid our weekly lawn maintenance company to
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
and remove all of the dead grass in the front yard. We then hired him to purchase all new sod and install it on the front yard. The installation occurred in late March of 2014. The grass looked great until August of 2014 when it began to die again. We reached out to
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, and their technician told us that it was their treatment, and that the grass would grow back in. As the dead patches expanded, I reached out to them again, and they came out for about 10 minutes, "treated" the grass, and although my wife was home, left a note at the door saying the grass was "very dry" and to check our irrigation. He made no other contact with her. Keep in mind that here in Florida, August is a very wet month, and this is on top of our watering of the grass three days a week.
I reached out to them again a week ago, on Friday September 5th and was told we would get a call the following Monday and that everyone was out of the office for the afternoon. A full week went by with no call back or visit. I spoke with
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
again this morning and was told someone would come out this afternoon. After missing our meeting with them, and speaking with them on the telephone, they are once again blaming "dry grass" and poor soil for the dead patches. Their solution is to now take a soil sample to find out why the grass is dying. This was discussed a year ago, and now as a result we have lost the $1200 in sod that was planted at the beginning of this year.
I have lost all faith in

's lawn care services and would not recommend them. Please feel free to contact me for additional documentation including bills, photographs, etc.

Two workers come and work about 20 minutes applying granular fertilizer and spraying liquid weed

weeds then the previous service that I had and are less expensive.

This was a Big Deal offered by Angie's List.
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
contacted me immediately once I signed up and paid through Paypal.
The asked me a few questions to make sure I didn't have an invisible fence or lawn sprinklers and any other miscellaneous
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
items they may encounter. They also inquired if I had a fenced in yard and the width of the gate entrance for their machine. They were very thorough with their questions and explanations, which made me feel comfortable as I was not able to be there when the service was performed.
They explained they will text and email me one week prior to the service and then again the day before the service. They did do that and explained everything again through the emails. They even provided me an alternate date if weather prohibited them from coming on the original date. They even provided me a picture of the tech they were sending out.

were there the day they said they would be and I could see the results when I got home. However there was no mess on the sidewalks or drive, it was all contained in the lawn.
Very professional and easy to work with. They did what I hired them to do and it certainly was a deal at $47. Should I ever need any of their other services, I would definitely give them a call.

Few words can describe what
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
accomplished in less than 2 days of work! We hired
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
based on the strong recommendation of a neighbor. He graded our backyard, hauled away all the weeds/shrubs from the grading process, mixed in fresh topsoil, created a timber border for a playground which was filled with cedar chip playground mulch, and seeded the new yard space. Our yard backs up to 40+ acres of woods. What
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
accomplished in less than 2 days time is a minor miracle. Simply stated,
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
gave my family an entirely new outdoor living space that we have thoroughly enjoyed in the few short weeks since he completed his work.

My lawn definitely looks better than before I hired
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
. Let's face it, folks: this is north TX, with some of the worst quality 'dirt' I've ever seen (after having lived in Iowa and Indiana--where dirt is dark, rich, moist, and
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
full o'nutrients). Down here in TX your ground is sand, clay, and garbage. So we're not going to have lush green lawns like you see on TV. However, the
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
guys have done the best job yet of killing & controlling weeks, and getting the grass to grow. In pretty short order (less than 6 months) they changed my lawn from broadleaf weed patches to just green, pretty health-looking grass. It looks 100 times better. Well worth the money.

don't DO IT!!! We moved into our home last year, got
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
on a referral from our neighbor. They came and treated the lawn for weeds and fertilized. We set up the 9 plan service with them for a year, starting this past March 2014. They came out a total of 4 times. Two of the times, they forgot to spray the side of the house and the weeds took over. Of note, there was still a TON of weeds throughout the yard in general. BUT HERE IS THE BEST PART….we called and discussed reseeding and aerating with Fescue, that my husband was going to be killing off the Bermuda grass. They said they understood and stated that this would be $100--this was a quote from the 1-800 number. Then the local guy said it was going to be $270. They originally quoted us $250 to
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
of the lawn in the beginning of the year and then they came out later and said it would be $800. THEY SHOWED UP WITH NO SEED….AND OFFERED TO TREAT THE WEEDS….HELLO THE GRASS WAS DEAD--WHAT WEEDS? Anyhow, there were a few no shows, numerous phone calls to the office and 1-800 number, to no avail.
Inverness Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
--the manager there refused to call us back, at least thats what I think. I think he didn't have the "stones" to call me back if you know what I mean. I think they are trying to make money on a less than impressive product, and constantly contradicting the 1-800 number on its quotes. Seems shady to me. Needless to say, pure joy when i got to call and cancel my service, and they actually wondered why.
