provided a quote the day he came to review the job. He made recommendations for what would look best and gave us options to fit our budget.
responded promptly when we had questions. He gave us an estimated ...more start date and kept to the schedule. He worked long days to finish the job once he started. He did a great job. The stoop and walkway look beautiful, huge
appeal difference. Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs masonry work. "

"The add-on porch was built over 30 years ago. There were sizable spaces where the foundation of the porch meets the house. There was also a space between the concrete blocks and the flooring of the porch and the cement between the blocks appeared ...more to be slowly crumbling.
All these spaces allow a determined chip
to set up residency under the porch!!
added a wire mesh to the facing of the blocks in such a way that ALL the holes were covered and then added the new cement over the mesh. LOOKS BEAUTIFUL and I have not seen that chippy since the work was done. So sad! "

"He did not use any stone dust, did not use or even own a level, did not come with a work vehicle, did not do the job correctly at all and did not correct mistakes or improper work as was asked. I had to pay someone else to come and redo the work. The price of the job kept changing also. He put 18 inch pavers down by setting them on top of the ground. ...more That's it! They stick up, they wobble when you walk on them, they are not level, nothing- just
them on the ground. The job was a disaster which I paid him and another person to come and then fix. When confronted about poor workmanship and improper methods he stated that I wasn't willing to pay for it done right, that it would cost more. Funny, I gave him $60.00 per hour. Who makes that kind of money? When I asked for a job quote, I was asking for a job quote for the job to be done properly. What other kind of quote is there?
is a very nice person whom I had high hopes for since he was very prompt and I gave him a

actually showed up, although he was 15 minutes late due to car trouble. The quality of his work was excellent. I was worried about the new brick matching the old, but he matched it very well. He was extremely professional. The job site was cleaned up when he was done.
His price was not the lowest, ...more but it was close. He showed up to give a bid exactly when he said he would. Communication throughout the project was superb.
What I really liked is that when
ran into a few unexpected problems, he didn't try to up the price. He stuck to the bid even though the job ended up costing him a bit more time and money. Something was broken when he opened the chimney up so he had to run out and get a new piece. Another issue was hornets living in the chimney. He just dealt with them and moved on. He had a very good attitude and was very trustworthy.

If you have a one day job, wait until he is completely FINISHED prior to paying....
was very easy to work with. I supplied a plan for the backyard and he was very helpful in making suggestions and completing the project just the way we envisioned it. The backyard was all grass with horrible wood stairs and now it's our perfect oasis. The patio is now approximately 25' x 30' and provides ample ...more space for us and our guests. The stone work is beautiful. His workers worked very hard in the
heat last summer, but got the job done in a very timely manner. Their prep and cleanup was excellent. During the project,
was very responsive with any questions or concerns we had and would always make the effort to come by when asked. We are very pleased with all of the work and would recommend
is the consummate professional.
We wanted to have a paver patio butted up to our existing cement patio with an overhanging roof
We received a detailed proposal from
with a number of different options that were clear and precise.
...more and his team did a remarkable job ensuring the height
and arch of the paver patio matched up to our existing cement patio. The care they took to ensure the multi size pavers design scheme was followed and looked great was exceptional.
We are extremely pleased with the result and overall professionalism of the entire team at
It is a pleasure to find, in todays world, a company that still believes in doing a job the right and best way.
I heartily recommend
"Efficient and thorough. Explained in length what he was going to did and executed properly. Installed thicker cement and gravel then what was already in place which was severely cracked. The workers were amazing. The driveway looks amazing
"Excellent, arrived when stated and finished the job a few days after he started. No problems and very communicative. He performed beautiful work and matched the stone to the old stone wall and installed granite steps.
"Very disappointed: He failed the first inspection by not installing enough re-bar as well as not having the re-bar epoxied into the footer in front of an inspector. After the correction, he built the retainer and then the wall/fence portion completely. That failed inspection because he forgot the bond beam in the top of the retainer portion, so he ...more had to come and tear down the wall and put in the bond beam. Then he re-erected the wall using most of the same block which now has rough edges and the
and grooves are not paired to keep light from shining between them.
The project took an excessive amount of time do, due to his either not knowing the code or trying
to get away with side-stepping the proper way of doing block walls. It is only a block wall so I am not tripping on it's look but it took almost three weeks and his clean up isn't perfect either.
